Sweet new waitress. Very helpful. We came in an hour before closing and were the only customers. She was very attentive and our food came out fast. I would highly recommend the cheesy garlic bread with their sauce. It comes out piping hot and delicious. The pizza (bella Roma) was very good. We also had the antipasta salad with the tomato basil dressing (house) the dressing was a little thick for salad dressing (almost like a pasta sauce) but otherwise everything was very yummy! Good fast service and Italian food at a low price. Usually I can get another meal out of a pasta dish, so this is a great value. The pizza is very good here and you can get a great deal on the large ones for take out. The Pasta sampler is really good. Surprisingly good food in a small strip mall. The staff was wonderful... We hit there 10 min before closing on Sunday but they did not saw attitude... They made fresh bread for us and food was really good. We ordered cannoli an it was good tooo. I took one star away just because their marinara sauce was little too Sour and acidic they need to work on it. read more

The staff were kind, courteous, and prompt. The bread was amazing, and they don't ration it out like some restaurants. The time between placing my order and getting it delivered to my table was very minimal. The thing I think they need the most work on is their side salad that comes with all entrees. It is so basic, just iceberg lettuce with one small slice of tomato. Field greens, carrots, and some black olives with a house vinaigrette dressing would be much more "authentic ". Disappointed with the food. Ordered pasta sampler and got lots of pasta, couple of soggy pieces of eggplant and watery marinara. Wife ordered thick crust pizza, showed up thin, under cooked and so salty it was indelible. Sent food back and left. Won't be back, very disappointed. read more

I often order large quantities of food for work events. This past week I've had several places disappoint us with missing food, burned food and order not being being ready on time. We live in the local area and have eaten here many times before without issue. Tonight 3/5/15, the resturant was busy, the wait staff was performing multiple roles. The end result, pizza was awful and we could even eat one slice. Ordered a to-go order, is wasn't ready 1 hr after order. The wait staff informed us we would have to pay for the pizza. I talked to the manager, he gave us the tea and one Zeti meal free. We left and probably will not return again. You need to find another place to eat for awhile until the management can improve the quality of food and replace and retrain the wait staff. Sad, This place was once the good resturant, now it's in the death spiral. read more

My first time ordering from Bella Roma. It was a take out order for lunch at work. I ordered the lobster ravioli and garlic bread with cheese. For 14 bucks, you would think you would get a good portion. Not so, 5 yes thats right, 5 ravioli. Then i open the garlic bread with cheese, and it is burnt, top and bottom. Any restraunt that serves something like this,does not need, nor deserves my business. I should have read all the nasty reviews online before ordering from there. If there's a place to go for a relaxing setting and some good food, Bella Roma's in Clute is the place to go. I went with a date on a Friday night, they were a little busy but the staff was amazing. I was allowed to bring in my own wine which made the night even better. The manager came to our table every five minutes to make sure we were cared for.My mother is Hispanic so It wouldn't be fare to compare her lasagna to Bella Roma's but WOW! The food was great, but I walked in and was unpleasantly surprised by the looks. The restraunt was worn down and paint was chipping off the walls. We were stuck waiting 10 minutes for a seat which I admit is not to bad of a wait at all but there were multiple tables waiting to be cleaned off and no one was tending to them. That leads me to the next issue, there were only 2 waitresses that were being severely overworked and couldn't manage the whole place by them self's. When we got seated we got our drink orders placed and the waitress proceeded to inform us on there lack of silverware so my family of four was stuck with one set of it. The drinks and bread came out in good timing and rush hour started to fade. We ordered our meals and they came out in good timing too. The food was VERY good. As I was eating the last of my meal I looked over to my right and noticed that a family's table had been sitting uncleaned for about a half an hour since they had left the restraunt. I then turned my head the other direction and saw a cockroach or insect of some sort crawling on the walls which mind you made me want to gag. On another hand we had to ask to see if the silverware was ready yet because they hadn't offered any to us but we ended up getting some. Overall the restraunt needs some major work in organization but the food is fenomenal. read more

You'll get better service at Jack in the Box, the tea tasted like it was made with river water, waited over an hour, after several apologies and three baskets of cold bread and watching the takeout counters nonstop pizza production, our party left and had great Mexican cuisine at el Patrillo. So last week I picked up the Lasagna dinner for 5 and oh my was it delicious. The bread was just brown enough and the Lasagna would melt in your mouth. Everyone in my family ate it and was very pleased. I called them, they cooked and packaged it up for me to carry home. The best deal ever. For 39.99 I can't even make my own lasagna. Years ago I had a decent dining experience here. Unfortunately, my recent visit was not even close to decent. This establishment is BYOB, so my friends and I brought a bottle of wine. We were seated for 15 minutes before seeing a waitress, then another 15 minutes waiting for our water and our wine glasses. When they finally arrived the glasses were hot out of the dishwasher. Not great for wine. We ordered appetizers and our meal at the same time, hoping to expedite the process, but waited nearly 30 more minutes to then receive the wrong appetizers along with our salads (which were unedibly drenched in dressing). This entire time we were never asked how we were doing despite the fact that our waitress walked feet from our table half a dozen times. At several points we were forced to get the attention of another waitress just to get a water refill. When we finally received one of our two apps (mozzarella sticks) they were lukewarm and soggy. We never received our second and it had to be struck from the bill. After being there for over an hour we finally received our entrees. I had the chicken picatta. It was virtually unedible. The chicken was rubbery and tasteless and had an overwhelming odor of wet dog (not kidding). The pasta had enough capers for 3 plates and had far too much lemon, making the entire dish taste of a cleaning product. My friends also received less than satisfactory meals and after a bite or two, and the refusal of a to-go box, we wanted out of there. We noticed over this regretful 2 hour dining experience that multiple tables (that arrived after us) had not only received their meals but had paid and left the establishment before we had gotten our main dishes. Apart from the atrocious food and service they also had their television at an inappropriate volume, making it extremely hard to think, let alone have a conversation. Not only that, but it was playing a program pertaining to a serial killer, showing graphic images while people were trying to eat. We eventually had to request that they turn the channel or lower the volume, but neither request was met. My companions and myself are servers, at different restaurants, so we were sure to extend a certain amount of grace with these waitresses. Nonetheless, I have never received such neglectful service accompanied by such disgusting food. I won't set foot in the establishment again. read more
