Came back after several years. The quality hasn't waned at all. The red sauce is a delight and the quality of the crust delicious. If I were to make amy complaint, it would be that the bathroom needs a good cleaning and vents in the dining room should be dusted. The pizza was delivered hot and fresh. This recipe was just a large pepperoni with regular crust that we ordered. It had the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Usually pepperoni is very greasy but this was not. We will definitely order again. The service was good and the staff are respectful and upbeat. The location is very clean and the employees seem to be happy to work there so that shows good management as well. Definitely recommend this place over dominoes and Pizza Hut. Supposedly the best pizza in LJ? The pizza was fairly tasty and would have probably even been better if it had been delivered hot instead of lukewarm. Does All-star Pizza not have insulated bags? Also, waiting 45 minutes seemed excessive. I realize we ordered on Friday evening but 45 minutes is not acceptable especially since the pizza wasn't delivered even close to hot. This is a great pizza place with a lot of flavor in their pizzas. The place itself is in a good spot for anyone wanting to dine in. I didn't have the opportunity to go, so I went ahead and ordered also you can order online or over the phone. For delivery they charge two dollars and fifty cents which isn't to bad and when food is dropped off you can also give a tip if you'd like. Okay, so we ordered and the process took about 20-30 minutes we weren't not counting as we had other stuff to do. So, when the pizza arrived we were greeted nicely with our food and she was left with a gracious tip. So, now to our food. We ordered a pan pizza with pepperoni and a stuffed crust pizza with Italian sausage and wings. Our first impression when we opened the box was great smelled good and looked even better. The first bite had to be a good bite so that we could rate it and by far this was the best tasting, looking pizza in lake jackson. The cheese crust had a nice texture also with a generous amount of sausage and cheese. Great flavor. The wings on the other hand were alright only because they had two flavors it would be nice if they could have a nicer selection of sauces. The best pizza I've had in Texas. Listen, this is real pizza. Not kitty, cracker thin crust pizza. I don't like Pizza Hut or Domino's. I like Pizza with substance, flavor and fluffy. They use good ingredients not crap like those chains. The pizza reminds me of my hometown Buffalo . Which is between NYC Pizza and Chicago Style Pizza .Only thing is, I wasn't a fan of the wings. My husband and I walked in right at 11am/opening time and had to wait for food to be out on the buffet but it was worth it. So good!!! Im visiting my fiancé for spring break, and we decided to hit up a Pizzeria for dinner. We ordered the Buffalo Grilled Chicken Pizza and some Hot wings. I can honestly say that was by far the BEST Buffalo Grilled Chicken Pizza I've ever tried !! It beats the one from Pizza Hut, Dominos, and Cicis HANDS DOWN! As for the wings I'd rate them an 8, the only thing that sucked was that they don't serve beer. Other than that, I love this place!! read more

Aw man how stupid we have been all these years ordering from disgusting Dominos just because it was familiar and they seemed to have a very easy online interface. Finally we decided to try a local company. Yeah, there were less bells and whistles in their online ordering process. And the price was higher. However the online ordering worked just fine. But the most important part about it is...what a brilliant pizza!!! A million miles better than the old artificially-flavored Dominos, which only produced internal distress later on due to who knows what artificial crap they use. No - All Star Pizza is without a doubt the best thing going in the whole area. Higher price? MORE pizza per pie! I would say you get double the amount with also double the flavor. We found this excellent pizza place while in the area for a baseball game. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I mentioned we were not from the area. They allowed us to customize half of a recommended speciality pizza for my son & father in law. I had one of their recommended calzones. Both were huge hits! I'd highly recommend the cowboy calzone. Everything tasted great, crispy crust, & plenty of toppings. All three of us that ate there would highly recommend going if your looking for pizza in the area. read more

First if all, they are a Mom & Pops pizza place that delivers! One of my favs is the veggie calzone-perfection! Next would be the mixed grilled veggie salad-yep, it's real grilled veggies atop a salad. (It's yummy!) The cheeseburger calzone is excellent too. read more

All Star is definitely better than chain pizza and it's got a lot of potential. However, the crust is very greasy, sort of like pan pizza you'd get at a major chain place, and there's no option for thin crust or regular crust that I'm aware of. Crust notwithstanding, the ingredients are a lot better than you'd get at a chain place and the service is great. They have a weekday buffet that's a fairly good deal and they'll make whatever pizza you want if they don't have it. The facility is an old convenience store turned into a restaurant but I wouldn't know it if I hadn't grown up in this town. I refer to this place as Stop-N-Go pizza for that very reason as I used to ride my bike here as a kid. Everything is clean and in order and it leaves nothing to be desired. We stopped by on a Friday evening on our way to Surfside. We recently moved to Texas from Ohio, so it was our first time in the area and we like to try non-chain places. We over-ordered and had a bunch of leftovers - which worked out great since we were heading to the beach and had a fridge in our room. We thought the pizza, calzone and cheese bread were delicious! They also had a basket of cookies they said we could eat from. They were yummy. They gave us some ranch for dipping at no extra charge. Was concerned that it wasn't going to be good be a choice, because we were the only ones there on a Friday evening but it was delicious and we would definitely go back. Only complaint was a couple house flies buzzing around us the entire time we were eating. read more

This place has potential to be awesome. They have some of the best pizza and calzones anywhere, but they do not know how to manage the buffet and have horrible customer service skills. I have tried for several years to get these people to play nice but it just doesn't work. Same story at both locations. So, today when a friend wanted the group to come here for lunch, I got smart and called in a small pizza. When I got here my pizza was ready. It was 12 noon and there was absolutely nothing on the buffet. The other people in my party waited 15 minutes and a pizza finally came out on the buffet, 5 more minutes a second pizza, 10 more minutes a calzone finally came out and now at 12:45 PM there is a full buffet. I win.. I ordered mine in advance and it was ready when I arrived. If you like a business and you can't trust them to manage their products and you want to keep using them, you need to figure out a way to get what you want. Complaining does no good at a place like this, they don't care and you have kids running the place!!! Today 12/6/15, I received pleasant service on the phone and even better service when we arrived. There was a full buffet out and the staff was happy. This was one of the best experiences I've had at this restaurant in a very, very long time. Thank you guys!!!
