A picture of my nails after they poorly removed the dip. We are at another salon now to get them fixed and not feel rushed or ignored.

They must pay for reviews there is no way their reviews are as high as they are. Their employees are rude, unprofessional and their salon is dirty. Chairs are super uncomfortable and it doesn't seem to make a difference if you make an appointment or not. There were 15+ people in there when we arrived at 2:50. Our appointments were at 3pm and only 4 employees working. We kept getting moved from chair to chair. They didn't start my soak off for my dip powder removal until 3:15p and didn't even try to start on my daughters' manicures until 3:20 and they close at 4pm they tried to remove my dip before allowing it to soak long enough. They tried to paint my oldest daughters nails without even attempting to clean them first. We finally said no and just left to go elsewhere. We normally go to BeLoved and they are BEYOND PHENOMENAL, however they couldn't get us in today and are closed on Mondays. Lesson learned. The only thing I give them is the fact they didn't charge us for the dip removal and they apologized, I have never had a nail tech apologize ever. So that is saying something. We were not the only ones who left in the 40 mins we were in there waiting either. What a joke of a place. Safe yourself the headache and reading of fake reviews and just go to BeLoved!

My cousin and I booked an appointment here for my birthday. Unfortunately during my pedicure I was cut which resulted in my toe bleeding. Although the manicurist was very nice she did not know what she was doing and it was obvious. My nails are cut uneven, I got the exfoliation pedicure and my heels weren't even properly exfoliated, and the polish job looks poorly done. I wasn't even offered compensation for being cut. I had to ASK what would be done about it because after I was cut the manicurist had to get someone to help. Clearly since my toe was bleeding every other part of the pedicure HURT. I checked into Yelp and showed three employees the coupon and I was told "we don't do that anymore. The coupon expired in 2019" when it clearly shows it is not expired. WILL. NOT. BE. BACK.

The nail polish is not neat.

I am updating my review from my previous experience. The owner reached out they fished the polish and re-did it with gel polish. I appreciate the owner for helping to resolve my issues . I really like my nails now , Andy did them himself . ---------------- Based on previous reviews I thought giving this shop a try would be a good experience. But no it was not . From the time my pedicure started . I was handed a menu just to be rushed. Next I to keep reminding the woman that the water was too cold. Then I was told I couldn't get an ombré design because she couldn't do it, which then turn to her telling me due to Covid 19 they can't do designs.

I'm sad bc I liked the work of the nail tech Kelly but the over pricing for services change with each visit when I get the same thing.. 1. I came in 30 minutes early to get my old acrylic soaked off for having the same nails on for 4-5 appointments. My real nails were curling underneath, so I asked to for a new set.. she was annoyed but I told her I came early to not interfere with her next appointment. Also I bought that to the scheduler's attention when I called to make the appointment. 2. She didn't soak them off but instead used another nail to slide underneath and rip off. I advised I was in pain, she said "no, no this quicker." I felt she wanted to prove that they could have stayed on. I was charged $10.00 when the soak service is $5.00 ..and she wouldn't soak them off, for the pain, that should have been free! 3. I get a little longer than normal acrylic nails..they are not Cardi B, Saweetie long, they are short compared to them but this time they want to charge me double for the same length I had before! Also, they don't like acrylic here, they want Dip, short nails only. In my opinion Dip takes too long and they need a paid soak off each time. She asked me "how long??" I said right there and she calls her manager over, they talk in their language and the manager smiles and walk off. I lm thinking they knew they were gonna charge me more but she should have gave me the option with that new high ass price before doing the work. She didn't say anything. I was charged $10, when I was charged $5 00 last time for the same length. I'm a very sweet, mild mannered, caring person but I personally feel like they wanted to price me out so I wouldn't come back. The extra fees are killing this place. I understand paying for the work but they are ripping people off. I brought $100 bill ready to pay $83.00 (- services with added fees I already budgeted previously) with a $20.00 tip but they over charged me so much.. $98.00 that I only had $2.00 left in cash. Also you must pay tip separately in cash if you use card. However, I had cash. Kelly says.. "you can use ATM" but I'd also get charged $5.00 withdrawal fee.. How about you not over charge good customers who would return again again without hesitation. I will not be returning.

Nail polish doesn't cover side of nail. Cuticle on thumb bled.

I chose Bella Nails based off of Yelp and Google reviews. Unfortunately I don't think they lived up to the hype. I didn't want to take my chances as a walk-in so I made an appointment via their website. That process was simple and easy to complete. When I arrived I walked in the door to silence. No one said a single word to me. I waited a couple minutes and still nothing, I happened to glance back at the door and there was a "check in station." I entered my information and it dinged similar to a doorbell and still nothing. So I sat down to wait. About a minute later another customer walked in and was greeted warmly. A second or so later a girl came rushing out from the back apologized and asked the other customer what she was there for. After that she checked in with me and I was taken to a pedicure chair. I asked for just a basic Pedi and my only complaint there was that I realized the tech didn't cover the edge of the nail, which leaves the stark white line of the freshly cut nail. I can live with that. Following that I had a gel manicure. It was mostly fine, but the tech definitely missed several spots and didn't have the nails completely covered. Then as other people have commented, they will take credit card for payment but not for tip and they do not warn you about this ahead of time. They have a "convenient" ATM right by the register that charges $2.00 for a withdrawal. I didn't want to not leave a tip so I was forced to pay the convenience fee. I don't mind tipping in cash, but would like to know before going in that that's their practice. Since this is the first nail salon I've tried in the area, I'll likely give a different one a shot next time.

Yikes! Hand/ surface sanitizer obviously present, but the state of the floors (so dirty) and the shelves of polish (shelves and bottles SO SO dusty) that I have a hard time believing cleanliness is a priority. Manicure rushed - cuticles look bad - embarrassing polish job - doesn't even come close to covering my nail. Unsure how this place has such good reviews. Don't go!!

While getting my toes done by this older lady she told me "you need to do your own pedicure" which is extremely rude. Every time I go to a nail salon I always just get my toes painted and a trim if needed. I suffer from ingrown toenails. She was hurting my foot by digging her tools into my toes. I have been here a handful of times and never experienced anything like this. She was also mad because I wanted a fill and the polish changed on my fingers. The lady who did my nails was amazing and friendly!

A nail salon visit is supposed to be relaxing yet I found myself on edge and not relaxed at all! I picked a color and then was asked to pick a color two more times as I'm getting my toes and nails worked on all at once in the pedicure chair with one hand available. I had to wash my hands in the chair as well as I couldn't get up. The only reason I'm even giving this okay review is because the ladies redeemed themselves by doing a great job on my nails. Will I be back? I'm not sure. There was no dip color that matched the polished I picked so I ended up just doing gel which turned out fine all in all I survived.

This place is trash ! Way to high , for crap job. I paid 60 $ for a pedicure that had to be repainted 3 times bc they were rushing me out. They were not even um trying to make it right. Just rush rush shew shew Will neverrrrrr get my money again , ever . And my word of mouth and opinion reaches far.

This is literally after 2 days.. I have never had this happen before.

I got my nails done on Saturday. I got gel on my toes and nails. I paid $65+$15 tax which was a lot to begin with because I didn't ask for a pedicure or a manicure since I had done it myself but they did touch it up so I let it slide. My fingernails started chipping the night of. Now it's been 2 days and the nail polish is completely coming off. I have never had gel polish come off after 2 days. I will never go back. I wish I could get my money back. UPDATE: I submitted a review and haven't heard back from the salon. Terrible customer service. Please don't waste your money on this place.

Can I make an appt with a specific person for my manicures? Do you do straight manicures? All I read from all the salons are gels & powders. I do not want either.

Yes, you can make appointment with a specific person, and you can only do the manicure if you wish! If you have any more questions, please let me know. Thanks.

Do you do dip powder acrylic?

Hi, Arianna thank you for contacting us, we do offer dip powder acrylic, its also called dipping powder!

What do you charge for a gel mani, I do have gel polish on that has to be removed? Thank you

Gel manicure is $30, and there is no extra charge to remove the gel if you're getting it done again. Thanks.

After being a loyal bi-weekly customer for over three years, I am incredibly disappointed by the…read morerecent treatment my family and I received. Following a visit for my daughters' manicures, the quality of work was unacceptable: one daughter's gel polish peeled off entirely within hours, and the other's acrylics were structurally and aesthetically poor. Uneven acrylic layering, poorly done French tips, uneven filing of the shape and a tone of build-up under the nail. 2-3 nails on each hand also looked like it had about 2 weeks of growth already do to the acrylic not being pushed back far enough. There was pooling around some of the cuticles as well. While the owner (not Kirt, I believe his wife) initially acknowledged the sub-par work and scheduled a time for a correction, management/owner (Kirt) abruptly canceled our appointment the following morning and informed us we were no longer welcome at the salon. To ban a long-term, high-frequency client simply for requesting a correction on poorly executed work is an unprofessional business practice. Furthermore, the internal culture here is concerning. During my time as a client, I frequently overheard staff speaking disparagingly about other employees and customers. We have since moved our business to AURA Nails in Lenexa, where the technicians were shocked by the state of the previous work (they didn't believe we had them done at a "professional" salon. They thought we'd tried to do it our ourselves). We found a more professional environment and superior craftsmanship at a much more competitive price point. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you value consistent quality and customer loyalty. If I had thrown a fit, been rude, been a disturbance, acted a fool, I would have understood. I have been nothing but understanding, kind, and loyal to this business. Then for them to just drop me because their technician did an atrocious job on my daughter's nails is crazy to me. Just goes to show they don't care about their clients or the quality work they do. They just want their chairs filled and your money. Don't waste your time or money.
