This is my absolute go-to nail salon! I always have the best service & all those that work there are very friendly. Since I go there often they remember me, and I always do the same thing just different nail polish colour. They always shape my nails perfectly :) which I love cause sometimes I doze off while getting my mani lol When I get a pedicure, they're always super cautious and ask if I have pain or if the water is too hot (I have problems with my left foot/leg) & they're always so accommodating. I know working on my left foot is a bit more difficult, but they always do an amazing job. They have a large selection of gel colours, regular nail polishes & it's always so clean. I made an appt and when I showed up they stated the person who I booked it with wasn't there and the person who was supposed to do my nails was with another client. The woman who I wanted to do my nails was not empathetic and kept blaming the person who works scheduling. Personally, wouldn't have cared if someone else could've done it but they couldn't accommodate. Bella nails has excellent customer service. They are prompt to get you seated in their spa chairs. Even on a busy day the staff works very hard to make everyone feel welcomed and accommodated. This time I came in the afternoon on a weekday, it was calm and relaxing. Looking out the window, I got to enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains as I had two staff members work on my manicure and pedicure. Tonya, took care of my gel French manicure and did (as she always does) an impeccable job. My pedicure was taken care of by Nancy and she did a great job of giving me exactly what I wanted despite the fact I had previously cut my own nails super short. I never post reviews however I must for this place. I found this salon on yelp with high ratings and decided to go here as an out of towner. Made an appointment for 9am and got there the place looked nice and was greeted by Philip. Long story short I left the salon at 11 am for a dip manicure. It took two hours for this man to complete a simple manicure in which he apparently specializes in. He kicked me out of his chair at about an hour and half and handed me off to another woman who continued to "finish" my dip manicure. She applied the wrong top coat and I did not realize until after I left the salon when I looked down at my nails and they were all starting to bubble. I came back and pointed out the issues and Philip accused me that the problem was because I used soap when I washed my hands the first time during my manicure which was completely false. After defending myself he decided it was time to fix his mistake. He did my nails with an attitude and applied the wrong top coat once again and my nails started turning white and blood was coming out from my cuticles from the cuts he had made and I told him it was stinging and I was in pain I asked him what was happening and he ignored me and removed the top coat. I sat there for another 20 minutes and he finished my manicure. I left the salon 2 and a half hours after my appointment at 11:45am with extremely painful and infected cuticles. Lady doing my nails was too rough. When drilling my nails she just said sorry and continued to go faster. She was in rush to finish them to get to another customer. All the tools look unsanitary. When doing my nails she would "tap"(hitting my hand) my hand to get the excess dip powder out. The work on the nails didn't look clean lol! I have been going to this place 2 years and love it!! They are clean (sealed tools, bags on spa tubs) and professional. They are very accommodating with times. I've been in last minute for special occasions and they always fit me in. I'm a new mom so I don't get to get my nails done as often as pre-kid life. Since I don't go as often it's super important I get quality service and don't feel like I wasted time/money and Bella Nails never disappoints. I typically stick to basic nail polish manicures, but this last time I did a chrome gel manicure and it was awesome! We spent spring break vacationing and a couple of days at the water park. My nails still look beautiful! Helen did a beautiful job. Pedicures are always wonderful there. I highly recommend this place to friends and family. read more

It is with great sadness that I must change my review of Bella Nails. Since the change of ownership a few months ago it has completely changed. Not just visually, but the energy has suffered drastically. It's no longer a pleasant place to relax after a long hard week in the trenches. Not only do you feel like you're being rushed through your experience, but you're being continuously harassed throughout your visit to upgrade your services. And the price is always different. My BFF and I received the exact same pedicure last night - mine was $22 and hers was $44... Hmmm. And a couple of weeks ago it was $29. Something is up, and not in a good way. We miss Kelly terribly, and her energy. We'll be bouncing around La Quinta for the next few months until we find a new salon to call home. Hopefully it won't take too long. read more

I have been going to Bella Nails in La Quinta for the past 2 years. Everyone is so nice and friendly. Helen does a great job shaping my nails just the way I like it, not too thick or thin. I get the powder nails most of the time because my nails stay healthier then acrylics. I had her try the powder chrome blue color for the first time and it came out awesome (see photo). One of the worst nail jobs I've had done in a very long time. Simple request couldn't be met. Philip has the worst customer service and his nail work doesn't help. He completely messed up the shape and my nails were burning. He got up and had someone else finish. I have cotton under my color. Rough edges and runny nail color. I asked for sparkle tips. Couldn't be done.... too bad I had a lot of coworkers in town looking for a good nail spot. We'll keep looking. read more

My experience was horrific. Phillip cut my cuticle with the buffer machine several times (taking a piece of skin off the 1st time -- ouch- it hurt and bled so bad...). After that he cut into my cuticle when attempting to give me a manicure. The nail polish dried clumpy and uneven (thick and bubbly). Furthermore, he kept leaving the nail station to gather items, as if he didn't know I was coming (Even though I had an appointment). It was so bad, I didn't expect to see my nails look so terrible. I've been to Bella a few times now and it's been pretty hit and miss. I went again just recently because VIP Nails was jam packed! My mistake. I should have waited. Philip did my French dip manicure and Sony (sp?) did my more expensive pedicure. Where to start; Philip ground down my nails so that the nail beds are almost translucent, even with 2 layers of dip and 2 top coats of shine! The manicure does not include anything but removing and reapplying the dip material. No such thing as applying a cream, cleaning your nails, massage . Nothing Nada! Sony has communication issues. I have an injured ankle and VIP techs have been very good about being gentle and doing a great job. Sony decided to try some intense reflexology despite me telling him to stop several times, and Philip communicating something I could not understand. Sony repeatedly pushed pulled prodded and poked my ankle despite numerous times of telling him to STOP! Do not touch my ankle! Needless to say $115 later I walked out with a genormously swollen ankle and a pretty crappy manicure . I am never ever ever going back read more

I went this morning to get my eyebrows done and had a terrible experience. The wax was so hot I have a burn in between my eyebrows, and the technician didn't even do a great job. They're arched too high and she took too much off the right one in the middle so it's uneven now. Omg, I love this place!! My friend and I found this place during our visiting of the city, and decided to walk in Bella nails. Mimi did great job with my pedicure, so did Helen with my manicure. They put small marble stones and a slice of lime in their mani bowls, and offer you to charge your phone. What a great customer service, but the price is so reasonable! ($35 for mani pedi combo). The massage chair was very comfortable, and interiors and environment were the most soothing and the cleanest among a few other salons we've checked before we came in here. I came to Bella Nails today for the first time after finding the place on yelp and seeing all the reviews (good and bad) I arrived right at opening time. Tony did my pedicure, not gonna lie I was a little nervous since it was my first time here and you just never know what kind of service and treatment you are going to get. It was hard communicating with Tony I wasn't sure if was understanding me or not but he kept nodding whenever I'd say or ask anything but I could tell he was trying to do his best. When I asked for a design on my toes he tried but I could tell he doesn't do them usually and he doesn't feel too comfortable doing it but he tried, and I was honest and told him they wasn't exactly what I wanted so he had Hellen do my design. Which by the way I'm totally ok with I don't expect for every one to be good at doing designs. The place seemed nice and clean I don't give it 5 stars because I feel there's a few things they could have been better. Overall I'd say the pedicure was ok the massage could have been better, he did an awesome job at scrubbing my feet (callus remover), he did cut my toe nails too short so I know next time to ask for just a file or to cut very little. I think I'll come back and hope I change my mind about the 3 stars.‍ read more
