I was there on May 9th for a pedicure and a nail fill. The nail tech that did my pedicure touched the skin on my leg with the solution for callus remover and at the time I felt a tad stinging. A few days later I am at the ER at Eisenhower hospital for a burn and it's infected. So presently I am on antibiotics. I wont be returning to Belle Nails. It was a new nail he h and he was older . Update: Every time I come here it is an enjoyable experience! They are so clean and professional! I cannot stress enough how relaxing it is to get a manicure/pedicure here. I like that they open new/sterilized tools in front of you and that they follow requests to the tee! I don't like to get my nails done in La Quinta usually because the techs in other salons do not follow directions. They always want to do whatever they want to your nails or argue with you what is better. At Bella nails, they are all about pleasing their guests! They have clean equipment, complimentary drinks and great prices! In the past I have had my nails done by Helen (full set, great job!), pedicure by Tony (awesome!), as well as a full set and later a fill by Philip, and pedicure by Lisa. This update is for the later two. I came in this morning with no appointment and was seen right away. I recieved a manicure and pedicure at the same time. In and out in about 1hr (rare in La Quinta)! Lisa tended to my pedicure and did an outstanding job!! The massage portion was only 7 min but I have never felt more relaxed. My toes were trimmed neatly and not too short, and I didn't experience a single knick by her cuticle cutters because she was very gentle and precise with her movements. Philip handled my fill and he also did an amazing job!He reshaped my nails exactly how I asked and paid vert close attention to detail! He even listened my suggestions on what nail designs to practice and add to his portfolio! Really care about their guests and it shows in everything that they do! I thought that going in on a Sunday, would be a perfect idea since I was in town to see Eminem's performance for weekend 2 at Coachella. Well on Sunday 4/22/18 and my nails looked so cute. Except the wideness. Fast forward to today 4/28/18 and they look like sh*# looks like I've have them on for over 3 weeks. They were over priced and the pedicure don't even get me started on the pedicure. She hardly scrubbed my fit. Stay away from this salon.. they give you one price and when you walk out the door they charge you a lot more.. the first time they over charged my by 15 dollars so I didn't make a big deal.. but this time they over charged me by over 100 dollars... most clients there are older ( so is my friend) and don't check their account.. Worst experience ever!!! My pedicure by Lisa was descent. Not the best but definitely not horrible. Helen, Omgosh the most painful and irritating experience ever. As I was getting my pedicure, she insisted on standing over me until I made my color decision(I should have walked out after that) I have real nails so I am very testy on what goes on. When I came in my nails were at a beautiful length. They were a VERY VERY slight coffin shape only to make them look slimmer. She asked if I wanted them super square, "no just slimming but not coffin" I have never in my life been so uncomfortable and physically hurt in a nail session. My fingers hurt for almost a week, I yelled at her once to tell her to stop because I was BLEEDING. And any excess color that was on my fingers or cuticles, she used the nail drill to get off?? Thanks for the extra burn to my fingers. 3 fingers were bleeding by the time I left. Not only were the nails completely not even on the tips, the dip themselves had bumps EVERYWHERE. And super coffin ‍‍‍I left with a smudge on one nail, and every nail looked like she had never done this before. Not only that, 2 of my nails snapped the next day. So now I am back to short nails, I have to start all over again!!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! She even asked me after if I wanted to make another appointment . I would rate a two except for the decent pedicure! I'd been there once before and called for an appt with the same person, but she was on an extended vacation. No worries, I was assigned somebody else - who had decent reviews on here that I'd seen. I decided on gels. When I asked for an iridescent color, I was told there are none (that should have been a hint as I've seen gorgeous golds and iridescent roses). My first time for gels, I was not ready for the very thick and unnatural look (normally I check people's gels and they look great!). The shape was not even, the polish was sloppy, and my cuticles seemed untouched! I expected her to fix all of this - was shocked when she said she was finished. From a very bad back that day, I could not sit any longer after treated as if it were two separate appts - another surprise since they usually do both at once. I simply asked her to clean up the messy polish and "hey, can you please do something about the cuticles"? She hastily cut them in all of one minute. I didn't want to be a problem - but went home very unsatisfied. I was in my back for the next two days, but once up, I went back to discreetly let her know this was unacceptable, show her my nails and see if she could fix them the following day. We agreed on a time. The next day I went in - she was apparently running an errand. I waited a few minutes ... and left. Not going back! read more

Today was my first time going to this salon. I was looking for a nail place open on Sundays and not only did I find this one, they were able to schedule me in for the day, mind you I didn't call until about 2 pm. I got a gel manicure and pedicure. The 2 technicians worked on me simultaneously and were both very diligent and detailed in their work. They have a menu of different types of pedicures you can get, I chose the 3rd option being the sea salt scrub. I really enjoyed both the manicure and pedicure. I went in here with my coworker and was immediately excited by all the gel color options available. I decided to go for a shiny black with an accent nail. I always like my nails short and natural looking. The manicurist almost went too crazy with the nail file, for I felt her shaving down the tip of my thumb lol but thankfully she evened them all out, so the shape isn't bad at all, except for one crooked nail. The silver glitter polish I wanted as an accent nail was too transparent so she had to do black coats under it, causing my ring fingers to be extremely thick with polish. I came in for a pedicure and gel-dip manicure. The pedicure was amazing. Lisa did a fantastic job! I was very disappointed with the gel-dip manicure. Helen would start filing my nails and then go help someone else. My entire visit took over two hours, which there was no reason for. I asked for my nails to be filed just a little, and they are now the shortest I have ever seen them, below my skin line. She used the electric drill to remove dry gel on my skin, which burned! My fingertips were sore for two days from where she filed my nails so short, the file rubbed against my skin. The gel polish is bumpy. When she was done she slapped some lotion on me and told me I could leave. As great as the pedicure was, the manicure was so awful that I will not be returning to this business. read more
