Never had anything but good experiences here. The staff is really nice and the conversation never felt forced. They even have a coffee machine and when I got my hair dyed there before, the hairdresser brought me tea to sip on while the stuff was in my hair. At $25 for a haircut, wash and blow dry, they aren't the least expensive option, but the quality of the work makes it worth it. Heads up though, they only accept cash - but they have an atm nearby. read more

I love Kelly! It has been a lot of years since a cosmetologist has taken the time to listen to what I really want done with my hair. Kelly took the time to do this. She came up with different suggestions and ask many questions to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for. I finally picked out two haircuts that I really like and she combined the two cuts to give me the look I really wanted! The hair colors are amazing and blended so beautifully. I have enjoyed all of the compliments that I have gotten...noticed by so many at work! Guys included! I have only been to this shop twice...but this is my new place! The absolute worst hair salon. The owner is unfair, inconsiderate, and disrespectful. She causes large amounts of emotional and mental stress on her employees cause them to quit. She's also a bad hair dresser. I do not recommend going to Bella Luca. read more

Took my daughter here to get her hair dyed. Her hair came out very beautiful, however I will not be returning. My daughter had very long hair almost to her hips. When we went in I told the stylist how we wanted if dyed but also told her I wanted it cut up to her shoulders with choppy layers. She said ok and told me she was going to get the owner to give me a quote. The owner came over and said the style we wanted was very doable and was going to be $180 because of how much hair she had. I said "ok but we are cutting it as well", she then told me it was going to be an additional $12 for a kids cut. Then her and the stylist rushed off to the back to mix the color. When the stylist came back I asked her if she was going to cut her hair first. She told me "no we cut it last", Which I then asked why was I going to pay to dye hair she was going to cut off. She asked me "how much do you want to cut off" so I again told her shoulder length with choppy layers". We wound up being at the salon for 5 hours. When we left my daughter had dye all over her face, and her hair was not cut the way I asked for it to cut. read more

This business turned my services down, after being a long time customer for my child. Clearly an opportunistic time of the day with little to no business. They advertise walk-ins accepted, but apparently not today. Nor will they be available in the future as stated by the stylist. Two thumbs up for sarcasm and courage but a major minus on professionalism and organization. My son isn't good enough for business here then neither is my money or the rest of my family. This is not a review for the salon as a whole, as I'm sure the other stylists there are great, but one for Molly in peticular. I came to the appointment after weeks of thinking about what I wanted. I haven't had my hair colored for a couple years. So I decided to ask for two tone color. She said I can't do that. I personally know you can do it I have had it done. I showed her a couple pictures of blonds I am a red head and understand I won't be walking out of the salon blond that it will take a couple visits. I was fine with that. So she then said and I quote "I do a very generous crown foil" from the tips of you ears around. "Because your hair is fine and thick I will have to charge you 170.00$$$" I thought that was pretty pricy but worth it, if it is as generous as she said. I then asked if she could carry the foils down to the bottom of my hairline and make it more blond there. she said for an extra 15 she would. What i ended up with was not what I paid for. She did foil through the very top 1/4 of my hair and 3 foils at the back of my hair line. During the app. She told me very rudely that she knew what she was doing and not to be so stressed about it. I could tell she was getting irritated so I stopped talking about what I liked in the hopes that we understood each other. Something else to note is she was rushing to get my hair done to get out of there, she said she had been doing foils all day from 9:a.m. and she still had to go grocery shopping. All this being said I left the salon feeling more blonde. Then went home and took a closer look in better lighting. And realized she did just enough to get me out of there. I called and asked if she could fill in the gaps she missed and she said "I'll do 3 foils for free". No thanks she also told me she doesn't want to see me again. Geez I feel like I got taken advantage of, and talked down to. What a bad experience for almost 200 dollars!!!! Never Again. read more

My wife went in for a touch up after getting her hair done she went to the desk and was give a detailed receipt for getting her hair done. She payed the amount with a 10 dollar tip. Later that day the owner called and said the receptionist did not charge her the correct amount and demanded she pay 60 more dollars for the mistake her employee made. The owner then started calling us and threatened us that we would get in trouble for paying what we were charged at checkout and not paying for their mistake and that she would pursue us legally for not paying for their mistake. read more

This is by far the WORST hair salon I've been to in eagle river. I desperately needed a cut, and saw the walk in sign out front...I was not greeted when I walked through the door. The owner eventually greeted me across the salon while she was with a client. My haircut was not at all relaxing. I might as well have gone to great clips, this place is a chop shop! A quick shampoo, lazy haircut and to top it off one side my layers was vastly shorter and choppy. I wasn't impressed that they did not accept card payment. as I was checking out my stylist immediately pulled out her phone and sat at the front counter. I will not be returning, the whole experience was unprofessional. There are many great salons in eagle river, this is sadly not one. read more
