It was easier than expected and I think my wreath came out very well! She also served a delicious salad, soup, and pastries. So far, I'm into week 4 of Maya's Farm Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) for Winter 2013. I've…read morereally been excited every week to receive the wonderful veggies and fruits. If you are not familiar with a CSA and how it work, here's a down and dirty explanation. You pay a certain amount of money in advance for several months of veggies each week. In this case, Maya's farm charges about $300 for 12 weeks of a whole heck of a lot of veggies that are certified organic. You support your local farmers and you know where your food is coming from. I recommend that you swing by the farm and take a stroll around. You might see Maya. I've met her and I think she's a very nice person. I will update this review with more info but I think the pictures that I post of Maya's Farm CSA speak for themselves. My only wishlist with Maya's farm is to have a half-basket. My small family and I can't finish all the veggies in one week.

I also got a latte from a truck, they had a couple food trucks. I did think it was odd that for such a small market they'd have more than one of the same type of vendors? Like they had two places that pretty much exclusively sold freeze dried candy, I know it's a trend but is there that much of a demand? Still a cool market and I'd visit it again!

I posted a review on Google and the owner Nicco responded with very rude comment. He said sometimes people get 100 pounds which is a lie. Other reviews say bad produce and moldy out of date items is the norm. This is also what I have experienced with many trips there. I kept hoping things would get better but after today's experience and the rude comment I received back from the owner I will not return. He also said 1st come 1st served because as the day goes on they give out less. Then I say give extra items of the ones they do have. Very false advertising! Save your $10 and avoid this place.

Whether you're there for the food, the vibe, or to catch up with a friend, it's got something for everyone. There are tons of fun photo spots, a hat-making station, and plenty of toys and games for all ages. The food is amazing! The Blue Rooster honey butter and sourdough are absolute musts. If the sourdough looks sold out, just ask - they'll usually bring more out. The fresh pizza is great, and the coffee and lemonade pair perfectly with it. Don't sleep on the pickles either - they're so good! They also have plant starts right now - cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and more ($5). As someone who shops organic, I found everything well-priced, often about the same or even a little less than Sprouts or Whole Foods. Everything's fresh, local, and never waxy or overprocessed. The whole area is shaded and super comfortable, so it doesn't get nearly as hot as you'd expect. All in all, The Blue Rooster is a lovely spot -- welcoming, relaxed, and full of small details that make it special. Highly recommend checking it out!

I bought local duck eggs, plenty of produce from multiple local farms, and locally roasted coffee here. We also enjoyed locally made all-natural sorbet, the coconut sorbet was the best! Bring your reusable bags, and have fun meeting all of the local vendors! My favorite were the goats, though they should definitely be given more space to run around. I also loved the Beal Beans couple, they were very friendly and knowledgeable about their roasts, and grinded their beans I bought from them for me since I don't have a grinder at home.
