I have been to Bell Tower before. It was the last time I was in Ohio. I apologize because I failed to leave a review. The best way I can describe the building is "unique". It looks like an old church. The high ceiling, the arches and the wood. I was expecting to see monks walked through the place. The atmosphere was very relaxed. They have a fine section of craft beer. The food is tasty as well. Good beer, good food and a friendly staff. What else do you need? Stop in and enjoy it. If anybody ask where you were... you can tell them you were in church.

Checked out Bell Tower Brewing for lunch and had a really nice afternoon! My friend and I both got the grilled cheese and soup. The soup was very good, but was a little underwhelmed by the grilled cheese. We both enjoyed our cocktails! They have seating indoor and outside with a smaller onsite parking lot. Would definitely go back to try some of their beers! Their drink list was lengthy! Plenty of options to choose from!

Great place to be on a Friday night with friends. It was very busy, lively and great for causal outing. The interior was stunning, with tall open ceilings and arched windows and design details that made the space feel open and aesthetic. They offer a great selection of beer, cocktails, shareables, and sandwiches! We started with the ale and larger samplers and ended up getting a whole pitcher.( I forgot to take pictures, we gulped down too fast). I had the sakura spritz, which was light and refreshing with a nice yuzu finish. For shareables, we ordered Bavarian Style Pretzels, Bacon & Beer Cheese Fries, and Nashville Hot Cauliflower Wings. I personally enjoyed the cauliflower wings. They had a spicy kick, were very crispy and paired well with the drinks. For the entree, we tried the Hot Italian, Steak French Dip, and Strawberry Goat Grilled Cheese. Everything on the table was delicious. It was a bit hard to get the server's attention at times due to how busy it was, but overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely be back next time.

I've been hearing great things about Bell Tower Brewing and finally came with my dog to check it out. The patio is dog friendly with gravel, so bring a blanket and bowl if you want your pup extra comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful. I had a half house salad with their house garlic vinaigrette and truffle pierogies with caramelized onions that were absolutely delicious. I also ordered a five beer flight and enjoyed every one. The vibe was fun and welcoming. Five stars because it really deserves it.

I was surprised to get in on a Friday night with no reservation with only a 20-ish minute wait. It was nice because we were able to get a beer at the bar and sit in one of the lounge areas during our wait. The renovated church is such a cool space with a unique ambiance. Once seated we got a flight and pretzels to start. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable about the offerings and suggested a few other beer samples based on what we enjoyed from the flight and our dinner pairings. We had tiramisu for dessert. (I was so hungry and excited I forget to take all the photos!) Everything was very good! Will be a new go-to!

Bell Tower Brewing - A Flavorful Experience Worth Repeating We finally had the chance to visit Bell Tower Brewing in Kent, Ohio, and let me just say--what a fantastic experience from start to finish. The space has a warm, inviting energy that instantly makes you want to sit back, relax, and enjoy what they've crafted. We sampled five tremendous beers, each one offering something unique and memorable. While I genuinely enjoyed them all, the German Pilsner and Irish Ale were absolute standouts for me--crisp, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Here's what we tried: Hermann-ator - A bold Doppelbock that brings depth and complexity with rich malt flavors. Notes of dark fruit and toasted bread really shine through, making this a fantastic winter beer or one to sip slowly while soaking in the ambiance. Celtic-Knot - This dry Irish Ale hits just right. The slight toastiness from the roasted barley gives it a clean yet flavorful finish. It's the kind of beer that feels familiar but stands out for its craftsmanship. Revival Rye - A refreshing twist on a classic American Pale Ale. Lightly hopped with a pleasant bitterness, caramel malt body, and that subtle spicy rye note that sneaks in at the end. Really well done. Guilded Splinters - A juicy American IPA that's full of fruit-forward flavor without diving into hazy territory. It's bright and aromatic, with a soft finish that makes it super drinkable--even for those who typically shy away from IPAs. Spirit of the Bell - This was my personal favorite. A crisp, clean, classic German Pilsner that checks all the boxes. Light, refreshing, and brewed with precision. It's the kind of beer that keeps you coming back. And listen--if you're a peanut butter lover like I am, do yourself a serious favor and try the Peanut Butter Burger. It might sound a little out there at first, but trust me, it's a flavor bomb that works. Perfectly cooked burger, creamy peanut butter, and savory toppings that somehow come together in the most addictive way. From the creative beer list to the thoughtful menu and laid-back vibes, Bell Tower Brewing really impressed us. The staff was welcoming, the space had a cool blend of industrial charm and comfort, and everything felt well-curated--from the tap list to the food. We had a great time and will definitely be back. This place is a must-visit for anyone in the Kent area or just passing through Northeast Ohio. Cheers to great beer, bold flavors, and new favorites! #ohiobeer #ohiobrews #kentohio #belltowerbrewing #craftbeerlife #beerlover #drinklocal

Beer flight

A total hidden gem! Found myself in Kent for business. My conference ended early and I remembered I had seen Bell Tower on Instagram and decided to check it out. I'm so glad I did! I did a beer flight. There were so many options that made it hard to chose but I was open to trying anything. The tasting was a great experience, some were better than others (according to my taste buds). They have a great food selection as well! Nice to keep the good vibes going. The interior was breathtaking. From the color scheme to the different seating options, amazing. Love the concept of old church converted to brewery. Great experience!

The beer is pretty good and the place is really unique, but their staff is just downright rude and unfriendly.

This place looks unassuming, especially at night. It's got a wooden sign on the corner and it's a biiiiig white building. The window has a big neon light that says open. There's a toooon of parking in front. Don't be alarmed that the building doesn't look super welcoming - go inside! The place is so big inside! Theres so much room. They had like 8-10 beers on tap and tons of picnic table style sitting and high tops. It's 12 bucks for a flight of 4 and happy hour is 4-7 with $1 off pints! Lit. I really enjoyed the beer here! They also have partnerships with bent tree coffee (another local business in kent), so some of their beer incorporates deep coffee flavors. I really enjoyed the four beers I got. Just so you know, there's no food here and they don't allow pets besides service animals inside. They do have chips for $0.75 :). Not sure if they let you bring food inside, I didn't ask. The true selling point: there's hella pinball machines in here! They are well kept up, super nice, gorgeous, and fun. There's a change machine and you can even pay with your phone on some of them. They have everything from Stranger thjngs, Rick and Morty, Star Wars, ghostbusters, Iron Maiden, guns and roses, and even a beach babe heavy lifting pin ball machine. Absolutely loved it here! It was $0.75-$1.00 for one game for $2.00 for 3 games. I had so much fun playing the pinball games. They were in good condition and clean, and there was hand sanitizer nearby. If pinballs ain't ya thing, they have a buncha board games and other arcade games like bowling, driving games, a dart board, and shooting games. This place is rad! Plus, it was not crowded at all on a Thursday evening during happy hour. Had an absolute blast hanging out here with some buddies drinking beer and playing pinball and would love to come back! Good beer, good music, nice staff, and reasonable prices. How fun!

There are three rooms and all kinds of games, bowling, skee ball, pinball scattered throughout out the building. A great selection of beers. Tasted a flight of the five you see in the picture. Lots of potential in this new brewing…read moreoperation. I think they are only available in restaurants and bars right now. I tasted them at Iron Mann in Girard. Shout out to those guys for having this extensive selection, along with great, friendly service I'd say check out 1547 wherever you find them and see how your tastes compare to mine... My impression of the beers (always a subjective matter, of course) went down something like this: 1400 Miles From Home - a Key Lime Sour. Very light sour, to my liking, with all of the flavors in the description working together quite nicely Kolsch - another light version of this style. It is a good summer beer for someone who wants a little more flavor than a Bud/Coors/Miller Ohio Heat Wave - subtle habanero on the back end slowly builds, but that's about the only thing I'm picking up. This is a very light beer Hang 11 - a sweet IPA? The bitterness is as advertised. Would love to know the hops involved. Very drinkable, but don't expect a mouthful of IPA. More like a sweet, session IPA in my opinion Shooktown NE IPA - first taste hit very nice. Like most of them, it tastes very close to the description. No bitterness, but like others on the flight, it's a light version of this style. I'm used to a more potent hit of juice from a NE IPA, it's drinkable for sure
