After we started to move in, we found the kitchen cabinets and drawers were not cleaned out and dishes from the previous owner were still in some of them. The dust and cobwebs on the walls and ceiling were a specific item I requested to be cleaned and they were not touched. The bathroom showers still had not been cleaned. The carpets were supposed to be steam cleaned but the small machine they used did no good. They didn't even vacuum up after using the steam cleaner. I'm extremely disappointed with the work they did and cannot recommend them to anyone. Rating would be 0 stars but it won't let me do 0.

Those who came to clean the house didn't make me feel awkward during the cleaning process while I was here. My vent hood and stove have *never* looked this sparkling since the day I moved in! The Bad My goal was to bring someone in to do all of the "make ready" stuff that I didn't want to do - not that I couldn't do. Baseboards, light fixtures, cleaning rust-stains off of tile from where a toilet brush holder or a dog crate had been, and for sure, the windows/glass doors in my kitchen facing the backyard, which had toddler fingerprints and dog nose prints on it. I went out of my way to make sure that all of the rooms were ready for them to be able to clean - as much stuff out of the way, off the floors, put away as possible so they could just get to work. I gave some instructions then I left. When I came back home that night, the house was clean - but it was far from make-ready. Baseboards were still dirty in so many places. The bathrooms did not appear to be swept/mopped - as I was able to sweep up a significant amount after they left, including visible dust bunnies. A residue from the rug-tape I had used was still on the floor, though I had specifically noted that it was something that I'd like them to get picked up. Most of the obvious stuff was done, but there were still weird spots left uncleaned - like the console table upstairs or the counters which had visible food residue and crumbs still on them. I took photos and sent them to Drew. He was great and promptly responded that the team would come back and finish the job. His customer service is why they get 3 stars instead of 2. They came during work to get the job done and finished, so I could be ready for the next phase of the house job. It wasn't until the next day that I noticed just how much was still left undone. The windows in the kitchen didn't get cleaned at all. Neither did the glass door or the storm door. They got the carpet tape residue up, but the bathroom & laundry room floors were the same. The table upstairs was still dirty. The light fixtures above the sink had visible dust on the globes and the metal - not the kind that accumulates in a day, it was clear that they hadn't touched them. My morning was spent sweeping and mopping floors that were supposed to have been done. On my hands and knees scrubbing up rust-stains that had to be removed that no one bother to help with. Cleaning up baseboards, window-sills and wiping dust-bunnies out of corners that were just ignored. The Ugly Having to leave this review, because they were so very nice. As a business owner in my own life, I know how much it sucks to get a mixed review, but I also know that when things aren't handled correctly, I need to know. My schedule didn't permit me to allow for them to come back a third-time when I wasn't sure if it would get done if I wasn't directing it personally. Unfortunately, at best, this job was just "okay."

The problem is that usually two people are sent to do the job, and without telling us that was usual, we were only sent one person. We spoke with the cleaning person and he said we wanted the step above a normal cleaning which was fine with us; we didn't mind paying more. Unfortunately, after a little less than 4 hours, the house was dirty. The mopping made our tile floors dirtier than before and left a sticky film. All the corners were dirty. The things that had been wiped had dust residue left from a dirty towel that was used to wipe. The carpeted floors weren't vacuumed at all. The bathroom looked a lot better but he hadn't brought the tools needed (he said) to clean some of the areas. The other bathroom's tub wasn't cleaned at all. This is a 3b/2b house. Trash wasn't emptied but everything cleaned with was left, adding to the trash. Toilets were cleaned well. Overall, coming home to a house that I still had to stay up late re-cleaning, cleaning, and vacuuming, was a huge disappointment. When I reached out for help to fix this, I was promised a half refund so that at least the cleaning person could have some payment, but it's been two weeks and there's no sign of it.
