I came in needing data transferred from one external hard drive (that I thought was faulty) to another new one. About 1/2 hour later, they called and said both were fine and that I could save myself the money by transferring the data myself. That's unheard of in today's world - where a business actually looks out for their customer. And on my way out, I looked around at some of their refurbished computers and wow, the prices are amazing. These guys have all my future business and I will refer them to everyone!

It took around 3 weeks to get my laptop back. I paid around 300$ for a new battery & installation, with the idea that I would receive an OEM factory battery. After 3 weeks of waiting, I am informed that I can either wait a while longer or take an aftermarket chinese battery. I chose the latter, being completely fed up with waiting. The battery they installed feels extremely cheap, visibly looking like its held together by duct tape. It has a 2 hour battery life, compared to the 6 to 8 hours I got before having my laptop serviced. And the worst part of it all? THEY STOLE MY 1TB INTERNAL HARD DRIVE!!!!! I was shocked to open my laptop casing to see a blank hole where my hard drive once was. I didn't receive any compensation for the massive downgrade in battery quality, nor did they ever even mention that they stole my $100+ internal HDD. i have since learned how to modify and fix my own technology and will never again trust others. This place is a huge overpriced scam center, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

As I write this Geo has spent 2 days sorting out the problem with my wife's external hard drive for backups. He just doesn't throw his hands up and say it busted. We have had a yearly service contract with CD and believe me it's paid for itself many times over. A real value considering the amount of time they spend! They're easy to deal with and explain issues in a way that even us computer dummies can understand.

He came to my house the very next day and stayed until I was assured that my files would be saved. He gave me excellent advice and coaching (without telling me what to do) on a desktop and sound system replacement, which saved me considerable money. When my new computer arrived he spent several hours getting it set up and various issues with my laptop and phone resolved. Above all he will work with you and explain things until you are fully satisfied that you understand and that things will work. His patient explanations are especially good for older people (myself) or for someone with little computer savvy.
