THIEVES!!! Just like the other reviewer said, they give a reasonable estimate of 3-5 business days, only to push the date back further and further. It took around 3 weeks to get my laptop back. I paid around 300$ for a new battery & installation, with the idea that I would receive an OEM factory battery. After 3 weeks of waiting, I am informed that I can either wait a while longer or take an aftermarket chinese battery. I chose the latter, being completely fed up with waiting. The battery they installed feels extremely cheap, visibly looking like its held together by duct tape. It has a 2 hour battery life, compared to the 6 to 8 hours I got before having my laptop serviced. And the worst part of it all? THEY STOLE MY 1TB INTERNAL HARD DRIVE!!!!! I was shocked to open my laptop casing to see a blank hole where my hard drive once was. I didn't receive any compensation for the massive downgrade in battery quality, nor did they ever even mention that they stole my $100+ internal HDD. i have since learned how to modify and fix my own technology and will never again trust others. The staff at Computer Doctor are tremendous! We're long time customers and both Joe and Geo Santos have always been there for us anytime we've had issues with our computers. As I write this Geo has spent 2 days sorting out the problem with my wife's external hard drive for backups. He just doesn't throw his hands up and say it busted. We have had a yearly service contract with CD and believe me it's paid for itself many times over. A real value considering the amount of time they spend! They're easy to deal with and explain issues in a way that even us computer dummies can understand. read more

I highly recommend Computer Doctor. I have used them for my computer repairs since they opened for business. They have fixed my computers and saved my data many times. I trust them and feel that they are honest. I go out of my way to use their services. It is a 45 minutes drive each way to get to their company. Total drive time 3 hours just to drop it off and pick it up. It is worth the drive. When Covid-19 hit I needed my laptop for Zoom meetings. During an update my computer froze. I took it to the closest shop that was open. What a mistake. Although the repair shop was highly recommended by several people, it was no where near as good as Computer Doctor. And it was more expensive than Computer Doctor. read more

I would not recommend this place. In fact RUN....take your computer problems someplace else. These people can never get anything fixed the first time. I took my laptop there to get repaired only to take them home and have them still not working. My laptop being only a few years old I was told it might have a virus and they could repair it. Unfortunately, I took it home and it was still doing the same thing . So I took it back and then was told it was going to cost me another $115.00 on top of the $200 I already paid. It was their mistake in dignoising the problem .No THANKS! I Is it too much to ask for people to stand behind their work. I can buy a new laptop for what they want to fix it. NO THANKS!!!! read more

This place was absolutely awful! I thought because they had been in business for so long and had a nice website that they might be a reliable place to take my computer. It was a worse experience than I could have even imagined. They said that they would have my computer back to me in 3-5 business days. They kept calling us and telling us they needed it longer. After three weeks of waiting, they finally called and said it was ready. And then they called an hour later to say that there was still something wrong and needed to keep it longer. Absolutely unprofessional. Not to mention inept, because any other place I could have taken it, would more than likely have been able to efficiently take care of the situation. Each time they called, it was like talking to a crazy person on the phone - a crazy person that had no idea what their job was or even why they were calling me. $250 later, three weeks, and the computer has been completely wiped clean - we lost everything! No more Microsoft Office, no more personal documents or photos, everything is gone! I would not recommend even considering this place for anything other than a perfect example of an inefficient, unprofessional, over priced, incompetent, absolute nightmare. read more
