There's an Old Navy, TJ Maxx (which, by the way, is NOT at the front of the store as the sign would mislead you to believe), Homegoods (i.e., Marshall's without the clothes), Belk, a Merle Norman outlet, Bath & Body Works, the Gamefather (a video game store), and some clothing stores. Also a standard pretzel/soda/cookie spot, too. A hair cuttery, a cafe, a nail salon... You definitely couldn't make a day out of shopping here, but could spend an hour or two or so. It's clean, and the restrooms are nice, too. I will save comments about individual stores for their own personal Yelp reviews. Overall, I wouldn't suggest this as a spot for out-of-town folks, unless you just want to be amazed simply the size of by a small town mall (aka, it's cute). This is more of a spot for locals who just need (want) to grab something they're specifically looking for. This place is A-OK, and that's okay with me! :)

I was essentially told to drive the 1+ hours round trip to the Hickory store and return it myself (I am 75 and rarely drive to Hickory), or pack it up and ship it back and pay the $10 return postage and wait a month for the credit. Their online fabric description was completely incorrect for the shirts I bought, it made a lot of difference for the fabric care, so I wanted to return them immediately since the online description was wrong. Online chat supervisor did not care and essentially told me "too bad." I am furious. Their mistake, and I have to pay to ship back an item with the wrong description? Cutting up my Kohl's card now. Terrible customer service.

I live in Massachusetts but I called down to the store in NC & spoke with a man named Tracy. I asked, just to be completely sure that this was the jacket I was looking for, if he could text me a picture of it, which he immediately did. I will tell you that the level of accommodation was inspiring because these days nobody provides customer service like an old brick and mortar store and I was really impressed and grateful that he spent a few minutes with me, made sure that it was what I wanted, and even discussed which size to get after I described my size, etc. He said the jacket would ship that day and I got it in two days and it's beautiful and fits perfectly. I just wanted to leave this review to let people know what a wonderful experience it was working with this store and with Tracy. Thank you to Benjamin's in Morganton, North Carolina. The entire store is typically very tidy, clean, well organized, and the restrooms are maintained clean and in sanitary condition. The management and employees are always kind, friendly and helpful. Plus, this is a larger store and they typically have a great selection of the items you were looking for.
