My wife brought about 5 or 6 different pants for me to try and none of them fit so i didn't get any of that. As we walked around I notice a lady she just kept following me around and then she finally came over and asked if there's anything she could us with. I said no I'm good thank you and walked away, we walked all the way to the opposite side of the store and she popped again side eyeing us. And so it dawned on me that maybe she thinks, I'm wearing one of the pants I was trying on even tho nothing in the store looks remotely close to kind of pants I had on. It was a merino velvet black pants that was custom built and had a pattern in the shiny material. We walked somewhere else and so there she was again, I said to my wife I probably should go let her know this is not their pants because id hate to be leaving and then accused of stealing for wearing my own pants. And so I went over to her and let her know, I see you following us and looking however this is custom suit pants that I wore in here it's not from here. Ofc she got uncomfortable and smiled it off and said okay and left. But on my part, that didn't feel good and that wasn't a good experience that we had there. We support Dillards almost everywhere we go and there's one, so I had to share that experience because it was uncomfortable and a little embarrassing.

I live in the DMV so I called this store and asked if it'd be okay for my parents to come through and get a patio set on me. They were very understanding of the situation and they helped my parents very quickly. My parents are deaf so I was on FaceTime with my dad to help everyone out in the situation. I shop at Big Lots locally and the two stores near my parents in the Panhandle have been temporarily closed so I was happy that they had the option to not only drive to Dothan but had a team willing to help them. This location showed 3 in stock only to find out the day I was supposed to pick up their inventory is wrong and they have none. No one bothered to even notify me they cancelled my order I had to call there to find out I would have to wait another week making my 20% off online coupon expire. The furniture manager at the Dothan location John was unbelievably helpful and was able to get me exactly the set I wanted. He was also able to honor my online order with the 20% off coupon the same day i called him. He made my day and was beyond helpful. I will continue to go out of my way to go to this location for any more furniture because of John's excellent customer service.

I called ahead to see if they were accepting buys and if there were any brand exclusions. The individual on the phone was very helpful and provided details regarding what they were looking for. I dropped off around 3pm and was told it would take 45 mins. I gave the rep an hour while I ran other errands. She had advised she had looked through all my items but had to put the items in the system which would take another 30 mins if she could be uninterrupted. She was running this store completely on her own. The store was steady as I saw multiple people walking in and out with multiple items. The customer service was great and I loved seeing the employee remain courteous although she was running the store on her own. Most of my items were taken and I was satisfied with the payout I received. When I have more time I would love to look around the store. The store itself was packed and organized. 5 star experience.
