During my visit I encountered a hardworking and willing to help staff. There have been some changes made to this location since my last visit. Good changes. It doesn't feel as cluttered. Lots of clearance items .... Lots!!!! This can be good and bad. I bought a few pair of pants ( discounted) and some makeup. (From Mac) I was pleased with this trip to Belk. Certainly will consider coming here more often. read more

The lady at the jewelry counter, who is there Thursday at 3 PM was incredibly rude to my mother, told her that the jewelry she had on wasn't real, but that she could buy real jewelry there so she could at at least have something nice. Who in the world say that to another person? This lady better be glad I wasn't there and that I don't make my mom go back and show me who she is. The only fake jewelry my mother wears is in your dreams so get it right BROKEY read more

When the afternoon out turns into saving. You can say Belk plus Marelle turns the men's dept in the Pinnacle into a nice day out. Belks usually has good deals and the clerks are usually helpful Marelle, however is an added value to the store. I found a good selection of socks and a really good robe. I love to relax. Thank you Marelle lol read more

After 35 minutes of waiting, I finally decided to leave and go to a different Belk to make a return. A lady at the cosmetic counter told me I had to make the return to the department from which the item came- that register was closed. Another employee told me that wasn't true so I went back to the same lady. She directed another employee to complete the return. read more

My husband and I stopped by belk in search of something specific for our house. To be completely honest, this was the first time I've ever been in a Belk in my entire life! I'm more of a kohl's gal ;) First things first: I couldn't find a dang directory to tell me where home items were! You would think that would be prominently located ( or at least centrally), but nope. And no one bothered to assist us as we wandered through both levels of the story! Major ding! They didn't end up having what we were looking for, but I can tell you that I probably won't be visiting this store any time soon. First impressions are important, and they def. failed at that. read more

I'm typically a fan of Belk and a majority of the products they carry. This location compared to other locations just doesn't quite make it. Large location with two floors. Women's primarily occupy the bottom floor along with the perfume/make up section. Upstairs consists of Men's (right at he top of the escalator) as well as linens, kitchen, kids, travel, etc. They can tend to have really good sales that if you catch them on the right day you can get some amazing deals. This one isn't laid out the best and it took some time to find what I was looking for. Asked on person downstairs and they said to go upstairs. The people upstairs misunderstood what I was after, but eventually got me to the right spot. Overall with the space they have, they are trying to cram too much stuff into the space available. This, I'm sure, only adds to the disorganization feel that I get as I walk through this place. Would I come here again, maybe. If I was in the area looking for something specific, yes. But, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this location in the future. read more

Had a very hard time finding a cashier. Jewelry one would Not ring me up. Only two others in the entire store.

The staff i've came into contact with are always kind and helpful. There's one specific lady that recognizes me and my son every time we come in and just loves how sweet my son is and it's just sweet that she remembers us. I feel like they have a lot of good sales here and there but absolutely love hunting for clearance deals. I usually can find a few good deals. This is one of my fave stores to shop at. read more

I actually like the layout of this Belk store than others. The reason I'm giving this a two star rating is because I placed an order online for pickup. I got a conformation email saying my item was ready to be picked up. Once I got to the store, I went exactly to the area for online pickup. I waited several minutes and no one came. I walked over to the shoe department and told them I had an online pickup. The associate asked did I receive an email saying my item was ready.....ummm yea hence the reason I'm here. He went back to the back to retrieve my item, only it wasn't there. He asked for my name and to see the email again. He then asks could he take my phone with him to show whom ever that was doing the online orders my email..... still they could not find my item. After waiting for about 30 minutes the associates realized that my order had never been pulled. So I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the woman to go upstairs to get the item out of housewares. I could've done this myself. I did online ordering because I thought it would be easier and I could be in and out. That wasn't the case at all. Not sure I'll be placing anymore online orders from this location. read more

Came to this location to find some outfits for my grandmother, my mom and my grandmother like this store. This was my first time going to a department store since the pandemic started. It was very weird to see the "new normal". There was barely any makeup or perfume/cologne in the display cases or on top of the counters. There is touch free signs all over that department due to Covid-19. You cannot try on clothes/shoes inside of the store but if you keep the tags on you are able to return the items if they do not work out. The cashier was very nice and sanitized the counter and card machine between customers. There is also an employee at the front sanitizing the carts. My mom and grandmother love this store because they always have a decent sale. This location is pretty huge, two story department store. The women's department pretty much covers the entire downstairs along with the shoe department, jewelry, perfume/cologne, handbags and makeup. There is also a MAC store located inside of this location. Huge parking lot so parking should not be an issue. This Belk is a stand alone store with other shops and restaurants in the plaza. read more

I really love Belk as a department store, but the Trussville Belk just doesn't seem to compare to the ones at the Summit and the Galleria. Maybe because they are the only Belk in that 20 mile radius, they don't have to compete with the other Belks? I've come here twice and walked away empty handed both times. One of my favorite things about Belk is their Free People, Kate Spade, and junior's collection. They don't even have a Free People or Kate Spade line here, and their junior's section is much smaller than that of other Belks. Does the corporate office not think people living in Trussville are not allowed to have nice things? I think if people are willing to pay for nice things, the store should be allowed to carry them. I will see a $1,000 Prada bag at the Galleria Belk, but not this one. Okay....that I can understand them not wanting to carry, but they really should be able to carry Free People items. The beauty department here is probably the most similar to the other stores as they are able to carry high end products, and can probably generate the most revenue. It is a little intimidating, that's why I tend to avoid beauty counters like this! Blink and you will spend $60 on one ounce of moisturizer. read more

My favorite, and closest, Belk location! There are two Belk's in this shopping center; this is the one with the ladies apparel and fragrances. I love the huge dress selection here. It may not be the most organized boutique (and that's an understatement), but I am guaranteed a terrific sale price every time. In fact, about 80% of my Sunday attire/work clothes are purchased from this location or Belk.com. The sales associates are helpful and friendly. If they sold MAC at this location as they do in the Galleria, they would've earned 5 stars. But for now, I give them a 4/5. read more

If there ever was an example of the "department store" waiting to die, this is it. At the end of the day they will blame Amazon or some other on-line Goliath for finishing them off, yet they did a lot of it to themselves. On a recent visit right at opening on a Sunday morning, I found... 1. An entry that had smudged fingerprints all over the glass and an un-vacuumed floor. 2. A men's section with stacks and racks of clothes piled everywhere. 3. Clothes hung on hangers where the size didn't match the hanger. 4. No one to help you or answer questions. 5. Once I did find someone at a register, they were only interested in selling me a charge card and getting my e-mail. 6. Nothing but mid-range offerings for men and everything they couldn't sell over the last 3 years on cluttered clearance racks. No one has pride or ownership in this store. The good old days of customer service? Long gone from here. You will get better service from an e-mail to Amazon than this Belk. read more

The Trussville Belks has gone down tremendously. Before they combined the clothes and home stores is was a nice place to shop. Now the clothes racks are so close it is difficult to walk through, they are not in size order and is is impossible to find a sales person to help you. It used to be one of my favorite places to shop but now it looks more like a discount bargain basement. ( not that I have anything against real bargains). read more

This Belk store is always a hot mess in the women's/junior department. It is way too small and overstuffed and the dressing rooms are unbelievably messy (clothes everywhere and even all over the floor). They do not carry much in the way of stylish, designer brand clothing like some of the other Belks do and the styles are something you might find in a Sears or Walmart. With the lack of nice shopping in Trussville, this is such a missed opportunity. read more

I love this store in Trussville but galleria store has better variety of color and inventory. I really love all Belk store. Plus, they have a great clothes for a great price. read more

My experience in the Trussville Belk located at the "pinnacle shopping center" was awful. I have shopped at the Belk in Cullman, al for years and years but because I work in Irondale I decided to bring an item with me that I needed to return. I go to the Estee Lauder counter and Immediately begin apologizing for the fact that I am returning a bottle of perfume without the box. I 100% agree this could be viewed as suspicious, however I also informed both sales ladies that I had made the purchase on my Belk card and that it could be pulled from there. The one lady was fine basically and said as long as we have proof of purchase it will be fine while the other sales lady continued to tell me that they didn't have to give me a full refund that it could be 20.00 or 30.00 or whatever since I didn't have the box and went on and on about how I could have bought this product off Amazon and how I should have brought the box. (DID I MENTION I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT WITH MY BELK CARD!!!) First of all I bought the perfume because I loved the scent however I did not expect it to be so overwhelming and give me headaches so of course I did not have the box but the bottle was completely full!!. The one sales lady treated me like a common thief because I was simply returning what I had paid for and realized I could not use. Like I said I shop the Belk in Cullman all the time and have never had a bad experience like this, typically I would have stayed and shopped a little but I had no desire to stay any longer than needed. I Also tried 3 times to be connected with a manager afterwards and the phone just rang and rang so there's that as well..... read more

This is my last time patronizing Belk. The company has been going down for 2 years, but this was IT for me. The store was so junky, I could barely get through half of each section. They had final clearance signs all over the place. They didn't say, "this section, this rack, this line of racks", nothing. There weren't any special stickers, or anything written on the included items either. I starting getting a few things off of the racks that were marked. I had to wait for one lady to get off the phone with her friend complaining about her coworkers for 4 minutes. She started ringing me up, and I asked her about the prices not coming up right. She said she wasn't aware of any special clearance racks. I had to explain to her, what the sign said, what it looked like, and everywhere they were. She than informs me that all of the items that are supposed to be on those racks, were. Ummm.... No they weren't. The whole store is just a mess of racks with anything and everything thrown on them from regular to clearance, and all departments. To make my visit worse, some effiminate manager and his little helper walked up to a table where I set my purse and other bag. He said to the cashier, "who's crap is this?" Gee, thanks. She informed him it was mine, and he just proceeded to pick it up, and try to put it on the ledge of the cash stand where it would have fallen off. No apology, nothing. She keeps giving me grief about the pricing, then I walk out with 1 item. This is after I strolled through the shoe department where 2 sales people were busy talking casually with 1 older lady, and just gave me a look as I stood there waiting to ask a question. read more

I went here and one employees where complaining about a customer asking for help. The store doesn't really have a lot of options. It's just not a lot to choose from clothing wise. read more

This Belk needs to work on not jamming the hangers of clothes on the racks so close together. There is no flow in the store.

Belks men's department is bigger than JC penny's so much more to choose from I would say the only thing belks is pricey but they do have a lot of stuff on sale today read more

The selection was great, however I had the worst experience I have ever had in a retail store. The representative Pat (tall, older lady with blonde hair) was EXTREMELY rude. I have never had a representative at any establishment speak to me the way she did. I was trying to pay for something with a gift card and put the rest on my Belk charge card. I didn't have my card with me so she made me to go to the women's store to get them to look up the account. I handed her the slip when I arrived back and instead of informing me of the total she just processed the payment when I had already mentioned the gift card when I was in the store earlier. She handed me the receipt then I stated that I was trying to use a gift card so she replied "Well you should have spoke up". Remind you she never once mentioned a total or anything before processing payment. I then asked her to return it and run the transaction correctly and then her attitude got worse even going as far to say that she couldn't do it. After spending 10 minutes going back and forth she finally processed the transaction correctly and had an attitude the entire time. I have never had a shopping experience like this in my life and will be closing my Belk account and I will NEVER visit a Belk store again. If this is the type of people they employ I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

My wife went in to exchange a gift she was given by a friend. It was in the jewelry department. The woman that was behind the counter was helping a black customer but never looked to acknowledge my wife was even there a few feet down the counter. After 10 minutes, another associate said loudly to my wife, "mam, she will be with you shortly" in order to emphasize that she was there. Then the black lady asked hollering down the counter, "Do you need help? If so, I will be with you shortly but you're gonna have to come down here". After 10 more minutes, my wife said she wanted to exchange her gift for something else. The clerk said she couldn't do that. That the gift would have to be refunded back to the original customer's account. Well my wife didn't want that friend to know she didn't like the gift and wanted to exchange it for something else in secret. Even another customer said that it doesn't work that way. Finally a manager had to handle it and the original clerk walked off. She was a tall black lady that was simply being RACIST. I tried to call the store for an hour on 3 phone calls and could never get a human to answer the phone. I will never step foot in that store again. No wonder mall type stores are going to be a thing of the past with the lack of service and racist employees. read more
