I really don't shop at butcher shops much, relying on prepacked supermarket stuff, so I had questions. He took time to tell me what was available, what was inexpensive and gave me tips on how to prepare what I bought. I even asked for some fat trimmings to make tallow with, and he went and bagged some up for me, though they were not in the display case. The place seems very clean, it smells of meat, and nothing else. There's almost nothing in the store but the meat. They have a shelf with condiments and sauces, and, for some reason, a lot of Colavita Pasta. (That's my go-to pasta) The prices are good compared with supermarket average prices, though not as good as supermarket sale prices, but it's worth it to buy from a place like this.
