He gave me white rice instead of friend and fixed it quickly and with a smile. So the service would be second on the list. Unfortunately, the gravy tasted so burnt. I assumed it was because of the oil which tasted a little overused. That egg foo young g was good but swimming in oil. The taste of the fried rice was good! My favorite part. Even though those giant chunks of onion threw me off. Honestly I'll, go back. It was pretty empty and relaxed inside. And to be honest I'll give anything a second chance for those prices 6.95 lunch for entree, rice, drink and egg roll - can't beat it!

They used to be a sit down restaurant, but I guess once the pandemic hit, they decided to make the switch to just carry out. The people working there were very nice. They have quite a number of options on their menu, which was in all English. I got three dishes: Hunan Beef - it was good! I wish it was a bit more spicy, but it did still have a little tiny kick to it. The broccoli tasted super fresh when I ate it, and felt the dish had some good color to it with other vegetables. The beef was very soft. Hot and sour soup - ah, one of my favorite soups so I always make sure to try it at Asian restaurants. It was good, nothing special. I've had ones that were more flavorful that filled the tongue with its flavor but this one was just fine. Again, I wish it was slightly more spicy... Mapo tofu - another favorite dish of mine. It was good! Nothing much to complain or rave about. I liked the veggies they added to it. There is pork in it too, which I like. Overall, I'd you're looking for some good Chinese take out, this place is pretty safe. I'll go again and try more dishes!

But watching it being made from the counter I felt like I was in Guangzhou again! All fresh ingredients were thrown into the wok. Yes, it's a simple place. There may be one or two small tables, but it isn't really a place you'd sit down to eat. It seems like a family business, there's usually a middle aged couple cooking and a guy who may be their son working the counter. He's not particularly friendly. Not rude - just not friendly. Good news - the food isn't really flavorful, so they likely don't use MSG or any other flavor enhancer. Vegetables seem fresh. Egg rolls are good. The other side of this is the food is bland. Main dishes are really oily. The kitchen is right at the check out, so you can see the cooking surfaces and watch the cooking. A lot of oil. The wonton soup is made with a broth that seems canned - kind of dark gold and not like real chicken broth you find in other Chinese restaurants' wonton soup. Check your order before you leave. One of the recent times we ordered, we ordered 2 orders of wonton soup and got home to find out we had 1 wonton and 1 egg drop. They also don't give you much sweet and sour sauce and sometimes they haven't put it in our order. I always remind them or ask for another one to make sure we get some. My husband ordered friend rice (chicken fried rice?) maybe 3 weeks ago, and it was just a strange mixture. It didn't look like any fried rice we've ever gotten anywhere before, and he said it wasn't very good.
