Combo B Barbecue pork, spicy orange chicken and chowmein
    Jocelyn L.

Food was delicious !!!! The chow mein was especially good and flavorful without being overly greasy, which can be hard to find. Everything else in our order hit the spot, but the spam musubis were a bit of a letdown. They came out a little dry and lacked flavor compared to the rest of the meal. Staff was nice and greeted me on the way in , also had my food out in a nice timely matter. One thing to note, there's a lot of homeless people outside, which can feel a bit intimidating at first. But once you make it past that, the inside is simple and nice !

I stumbled upon this place because it was on the way back from church to my in laws house. Plus they had really good prices for party trays! Driving through the neighborhood can be scary. What's worst is when you pull up and there's someone sleeping on the ground right outside Beijing Express. The place itself is pretty big but they only have a few tables inside making the place look pretty bare. I think they want people to take out only. They have a large selection of food. The Hawaiian is a head scratcher for me but my hubby loves katsu chicken. We ordered a small tray that feeds about 10 people. The price of 26.99 for the tray can't be beat. They fill it to the brim. Is it the best katsu chicken, no. I've had better. Is it good for the price I paid? Yes!! We also got the orange chicken. Again, for the price, it wasn't bad. The chow mein and shrimp fried rice were also good. Service was good. I called the order in ahead of time. They didn't take my payment until i arrived. I would order from them again.

...A worm or maggot, very nasty to see this. Loved this place but this was not it...

I loved this place and would always come after a Long Beach dad but today I found a Insect in my food. Very disappointed

I thought this was a very typical fast food Chinese restaurant but apparently my wife and daughter loved this place. We all shared a three item combo with BBQ pork, Orange Chicken and I picked the jalapeno chicken. This last item was probably my favorite item at my local Chinese restaurant but unfortunately they sold and the new owners don't make it anymore. This was nowhere as delicious as my local place. They also have some Hawaiian BBQ items but they were not on the premade items and so I did not want to wait while the family ate their food.

Excellent taste and very generous servings! I was greeted and helped right away! Will be coming again!

It been a long time since I've been in here. It's Saturday night dinner time, the line is passed the front door probably 20 deep. The line is going fairly quickly for two food handlers only. We had some time to notice a few thing while in line. The tables were empty and clean . The floors were sticky and as I looked around it looked like it hadn't been mopped. The stickiness was throughout the entire restaurant. I noticed that the ladies were working the register and handling food back and forth with no gloves on. I know it was busy , there was only 2 servers. But there is no reason for poor hygiene.

    Enjoying that Thai tea!

Good Chinese food. Large servings. Most of it is made to order or fresh if they run out of that item. Good prices for fast Chinese food.

Personally, I've never had a major issue here. Probably because I don't complicate things. I walk up, say "Combo B. Half and half. Orange chicken and BBQ pork. To go." That's it. Food comes out. Transaction complete. LOL. I've been coming here for years because it's close to home and the portions are heavy for the price. For a Saturday at 4:30pm, we were seated and waited on immediately. The menu was expansive and I was surprised with the amount of vegetarian options for a Chinese restaurant. Our server was helpful in suggesting various fish options and knew their wait times. Some notable dishes were the sizzling beef with black pepper, beef scallion rolls, honey walnut chicken, mapo tofu, and fried chicken. The dishes that could be improved for flavor were the vegetarian steamed dumplings, steamed whole fish, and beef chow fun. We probably ordered around 8-10 plates (all dishes came with rice) and many arrived at the same time. The prices were very reasonable for the portions and it was just enough for everyone. Since we had a birthday celebrant, they were able to put our personal cake in the fridge. Our server provided a complimentary matcha cheesecake and candle towards the end of our meal. When we arrived, the hostess attempted to seat us at a table that would not have comfortably accommodated our group. I politely asked if we could be seated at a nearby table that had more space. In response, she rolled her eyes and let out an audible sigh, which felt unprofessional and dismissive. When we were eventually seated at the requested table, she placed the menus down abruptly and did not hand one to me directly, instead leaving it at the end of the table. The interaction came across as unnecessarily rude and, frankly, not in line with the level of service I would expect from a hostess. That said, I want to note that the rest of our experience was positive. Our server was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The food itself was also very good (I would not recommend the orange chicken though) and something I would return for. I hope management takes the opportunity to address the front-of-house experience, as first impressions matter and can significantly impact a guest's overall perception.
