One of the main attractions at December Nights and any festival that they are a vendor

Light and fluffy dessert so you can have more Beignets have transitioned to the new decade not only do they just have powdered sugar you can also complement it with strawberries Nutella or cookies and cream. Although the beignets at Disneyland are pretty good. I tried the cookies and cream with real chocolate cookies pieces. Although it is good my recommendation is to add the powdered sugar. The cream is a dollop of whipped cream and once that melts then it's just like a dry beignet and chocolate sauce. Thus requiring its bestie...powdered sugar. High Fives Cooked while you wait. Enticing presentation Several choices Fair price Cash, card and digital pay accepted Easy to locate in the main Prado circle Oh and did you know you could find Beignet Belly at the Oceanside Farmers market? Your thoughts create an avalanche of actions. Those you desire and those you do not.

These looked to die for when we passed by their stand at the Oceanside farmers market. Unfortunately, the flavor wasn't there. My friend and I got the Spectacular, which is supposedly a "crowd favorite." The beignets tasted like they were old and had been sitting out for a while as they were hard and not hot at all. Thank god the strawberries were at least fresh. We got it with chocolate ice cream, which was an additional $3 charge. Not worth it considering it was just a small scoop. I've had beignets in New Orleans before and they are supposed to be fresh, hot and fluffy. They 100% missed the mark on this. Very disappointing and I will not be returning.

We enjoyed Beignet Belly at the Asian Night Market last summer. Since the other vendors were absolutely SLAMMED in terms of business, we opted to have Dessert for Dinner. Don't get me wrong, there was still a significant line and the team was obviously trying their best to keep up with the demand. The anticipation continued to build. We saw those at the front of the line indulging in this decadent dessert. Our willpower and patience were tested but we saw things through til the end. It was tasty. And as we all know, food definitely hits different when you're hungry...The beignets were freshly fried - pillowy and soft, while the accompanying toppings of chocolate, fruit, and whipped cream basically created a moment of Nirvana.

Beignet Belly was one of the vendors at the Taste of New Orleans event about a week ago. We decided to try the spectacular beignets, which was covered with powdered sugar, strawberries, and fudge sauce. You can also add ice cream for an extra cost. After paying, there was a wait to get our dessert, but it was worth it. The beignets were freshly made and exactly how I remember eating them in New Orleans. I liked that there were a variety of toppings available, so if you have sweet tooth, you can even get Oreos, sprinkles, or Nutella.

Had a wonderful day at the Gator by the Bay. We stood on line for a good 25 minutes to order our beignets and another 15 to get them. My grandkids had never had them before so the wait was worth it. The youngest one loved the powdered sugar and the older one said it taste like a hot powdered donut. I just loved sharing the experience with them. We sat down on the grass on a blanket and ate beignets while powdered sugar flew all through the air and all over our clothes. It was all over my face and my girls. Can't wait to do it again next year!!

Just had the classic beignets today during the American Red Cross event near my work. They were so good, fluffy and fresh. I wish they are here all the time.

I hired Beignet Belly to cater a Fall Festival on a college campus and they were such a joy to work with. At first it took me a while to get in touch with them, but the more than made up for the shaky start with a discount, excellent follow up communication, and tasty treats. We got the pumpkin stuffed with ice cream and carnal sauce, chocolate strawberry with ice cream, and classic power surface. The service was quick which kept the lines short and people could help but go back for more. Make sure to taste one at the local farmers markets or hire them for your next event. I can say more nice things about working with this local veteran owned company.

Tried their classics beignets at Balboa Park's December Nights and I though they were pretty good. They were fresh and had a good balance of flavor and texture without being too sweet nor too oily. However, my favorite beignets are still the ones from Disneyland!

So good! Had it at the street market. Perfectly cooked. Will try again next week! Maybe with the strawberries?

Belly's Beignets original is one of the main reasons I attend Qualcomm's annual crawfish festival. So sad I can't find any in north county.

It's super easy to get there on the sprinter- don't even bother trying to drive down there and find parking. It's a total madhouse. There's something for everyone here. Crafts, jewelry, even a psychic reader.... A lot of people confuse this with the Farmer's Market- that's on Thursday morning. I haven't been there in years! This is called Sunset Market because it's in the evening! We've been there so many times that we know where out favorite food stands are. My oldest son loves the birria mac and cheese tacos while my youngest son loves a certain french fry stand. My partner and I love finding new food stands and trying them. They're often overlooked...and that's a shame! There's a fun kiddo area if you're bringing little ones- I've seen bounce houses there. Pro-tip- there's a line of portable restrooms by the kid bounce house section. There's also live music with local bands and a few high tops there. They go very quickly. Lots of people just grab a seat on the curb and eat. Every year, it get more and more crowded- people, strollers, dogs...it's nearly impossible to walk down certain food heavy streets to see what's down there. So, we try to time our trips to arrive as soon as the market starts and then leave when the crowds really start flowing in. And every year, it gets more and more expensive...so be prepared. Cash is king there, unless you don't mind paying service fees on credit cards and even venmo).
