Highly disappointed with OneMed's s customer service…read more As a new patient, I chose Dr. Patel based on a trusted recommendation. After calling and leaving a message for clarification about a medical order, I never received a return call. When I called back later that day, I was simply told I needed to schedule an appointment to speak with the doctor. The office is over 30 minutes from my home, so it's not as if I can just stop by to resolve a communication issue. Like many large practices, everything goes through a call center, making it nearly impossible to reach the office directly. Florida has no shortage of medical providers. Customer service is what separates exceptional practices from mediocre ones, and this experience has been disappointing. I'm posting this in the hope that it gets the attention of the front office. I'll update my review if the situation is resolved.

I was nervous to try a new office but heard such wonderful things about this practice. Dr.Khan has really made me feel comfortable and at ease when coming into the office. I also appreciate that the practice offers mental health services in addition to primary care. I feel like having it all under one roof makes that referral and ability to connect to the right resources so much easier! Scheduling is also super easy! They are always able to find a time to get me in which I like! The front desk staff is so friendly and able to help answer questions whenever they come up. Overall I enjoy coming here and can't recommend them enough!

Went to "Dr" Pressley for an annual physical. Prior to the appointment I called BCBS of FL to…read moreconfirm the visit was fully covered as preventative care and therefore no payment required even as I had not met my annual deductible. I was told by insurance company this was the case. I then called Pressleys office who also confirmed same. Had the physical ... Everything was good. I was in excellent shape and healthiest I'd been in years. In the 2 years prior I dad undergone an ACL reconstruction and hernia ops. All had gone well and he asked me how the knee was as I'd had another clean up surgery a few months prior. He also said my bloodwork was great and I was very healthy. A few weeks later ... I received a bill. I called the office and was told that "seeing as though we had DISCUSSED the results of the Physical it became a chargeable visit." I asked why i was told this was a fully covered visit by ins company and the Drs office when I had called prior to the visit. I was told that if we had not DISCUSSED the results of the Physical it would not have been chargeable !!!! Are you kidding me ? ... What is the point of having a physical and bloodwork if you can't discuss the results ? I was extremely unhappy and after calling the ins co and dr was informed, TOUGH !! that's just the way it is. No one mentioned this upfront that you can have a physical so long as you don't find out or discuss the results. I had gone out of my way to pre-approve this AND I was in great health anyway. A few weeks later a family member was admitted to hospital after a serious complication. Dr Pressley ended up being the attending physician. I was informed that he was a caring Dr so I explained the situation. He showed absolutely no interest. Simply couldn't care less. This Dr is only interested in money. Avoid like the plague. His office will charge you for even being alive. I had done my due diligence and was still ripped off. After multiple calls to Dr and Ins. co. I got so stressed out it simply wasn't worth it. So I paid the bill and moved on. I'll leave it to Karma with unscrupulous people like this.

I was pleased to see they had numerous openings and I was able to schedule my appointment at a time convenient with my schedule. I was greeted with courtesy and professionalism upon arrival, and the check-in process was easy and quick. The clinical medical assistant was friendly and welcoming and best of all, the doctor I ended up seeing, Dr. Mena, was exceptional! She was communicative, attentive, and an excellent listener and made my visit feel as if it were "tailor-made". Overall, my interaction with those I encountered (front desk, medical assistants, the doctor, and laboratory techs) were positive. Best of all, I later found out that this clinic is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the community with passion, compassion and integrity, all of which were evident during my scheduled visit. I would highly recommend them and their team of doctors!

I attended 26Health for a women's empowerment event called "In Full Bloom" this past weekend…read morefocusing on mental health and wellness. It was such a lovely and wonderful event that included varying activities, panels, and open discussions on varying topics involving mental health and wellness. The event was not only engaging but enriching. We were left with a feeling of being truly affirmed, heard and most importantly, SEEN. For women, living in a "man's world," it is vital to have spaces where we not only feel safe, but we must also have the opportunity to be heard and seen! So, I thank the 26Health crew for creating a space to be heard and seen! In addition to that, I also got to learn a bit more about 26Health and their impact within the community. The staff were amazing and kind. Again, I felt safe and welcomed and more importantly I learned about a healthcare provider in the community that helps all regardless of insurance status. They offer STD/STI testing, free of charge. Free birth control options (like condoms). Free test strips to test for drugs, etc. They also offer mental health wellness programs and solutions. While I cannot personally speak to the quality of care provided if you attend 26Health as patient, I can at least note, that based on the event I attended, they put the utmost care and respect into all those they work alongside with. I'll definitely be recommending them to peers (or just anyone I know) looking for an affordable alternative to healthcare and mental wellness in the local Orlando community.
