Since I've also been gearing up to launch my own watercolor portrait series for Etsy, I was super excited to gather the right supplies. I came in with a list and a lot of enthusiasm... but also zero clue where to start! Enter Manda, an absolute angel who just knew I needed a little guidance. She kindly circled back to check on me, and I'm SO glad she did. Her warm smile and extensive knowledge made me feel instantly at ease. She gave me a full-on watercolor masterclass right there in the aisle--explaining the types of brushes best suited for portraits, the difference between synthetic and natural hairs, and even how brush length affects technique. Who knew short handles are better for control? She did! When it was time for her to clock out, she passed me on to Cesar, whose calm and caring energy made me feel like I was in expert hands. He's basically the Watercolor Whisperer! Cesar broke down everything--from starter vs pro-level watercolor sets to the difference between cold-pressed and hot-pressed paper textures. Even when other customers waited nearby for his help, he made sure I was fully taken care of before moving on. That level of customer service is rare and deeply appreciated. And let me not forget Chaylei, the radiant cashier with the cutest nose ring and a great sense of humor. Her energy was so fun and light, and she had me cracking up at the register when she found out Cesar's watercolor wizardry. The whole checkout experience felt more like chatting with friends than just making a purchase. The store itself is bright, well-stocked, and gives off a cozy, artist-hangout vibe. You can tell that everyone who works here is passionate about their craft and genuinely cares about helping people explore their creativity. If you're in Savannah--whether you're a SCAD student, an amateur artist, or just curious--this is the only place you need to go. I found her website online as I searched for places that could properly honor my Dad's WWII medals, shoulder patches, pins, etc. As she looked over my memorabilia, she understood perfectly what I was trying to do. She showed a good eye for color for the double mat surrounding the certificates, and was knowledgeable in suggesting the right frame to highlight the medals. No "I will be with you in a moment.." I figured I was there so waited. I should've left. I had to come back after 3 weeks to see the process on my framing job. Again the same treatment . This time a different staffer. The art was not done. ! was told 2 weeks. It took 8 weeks. The store is down right dirty and messy. I own 2 cats myself, and they have a store cat, however they do not know how cat urine smell permeates the place! Yuck! I will not be back!

Everything is online now and we are forced to order online but I do appreciate that they still have a store front presence. I can't say anything about the service because I did not need any help while I was there and I used the self check out registers. I must say their rewards program is great. Although I don't shop there that often it does appear that every time I go I have a new reward.
