I was referred to TCI and knew I needed to go, but didn't want to go. That all changed once I got there. TCI changed my life and forced me to look in a mirror and get comfortable with being uncomfortable and face the parts of me that have been anchoring me from true freedom and inner peace. The program they run is rigourous and caused some serious brain pain, but I was able to break through parts of me that have I've been hiding for most of my life. Each person has their own style of doing things and contributed different things that I needed to receive while I was there, and to me, it was the perfect staff. From crying, to laughing, to being vulnerable and feeling comfortable enough to dig deep and share things with perfect strangers that I've never shared with anyone else; I've never felt more safe, heard, and just allowed to be myself without judgement. Instead I was met with compassion, understanding, and comfort. I don't trust people easily, and I trust every person at TCI with my life, because they not only changed my life, they saved my life. If I name one person in this review, I'm going to have to name all of them (that's a long list), but I was able to go home with the tools I know will help me manage my recovery on a daily basis, and because of that, my fears have lost power over me. I'm eternally grateful to each and every staff member at TCI. Thank you for your kindness, love and care (and for the brain pain experienced from being forced to be honest with myself). I am eternally grateful. This is the place to go if you want to experience true freedom from self. When I feel some sort of way, all I have to do is remember the advice and suggestions and feedback I received during my time at TCI, and I know there's hope that I will be ok. I also know that it's ok to not be ok, but it doesn't have to stay that way.. a lesson that has changed my life in just a short period of time. I have much love for them all, and they will be in my heart forever.

She saved my brother's life and our family/friends' lives in turn! (We wouldn't know what to do without my brother) While my friend and I were trying to help find a place for my brother, Debbie was trying to help even though we didn't think he had the correct insurance for Transformations Care. Debbie helped my friend for countless hours and eventually they were able to figure out insurance to get my brother to Transformations. The fact that she was helping my friend even though we didn't think we could get my brother to Transformations, truly shows that this place has the best of intentions. Debbie wants to help people in need get to the road to recovery! She made the road to recovery so much easier than it could have been. She made my brother feel welcome, normal, and loved. Debbie reassured me and my family consistently by sending us photos of her and my brother. Recovery is hard - Debbie made it easier for him and I am forever grateful. I HIGHLY recommend Transformations Care as a family member (I can't fully endorse it as a patient, but my brother has nothing but great things to say about the owners, Michelle in outpatient, and Debbie!) Thank you for saving my brothers life, I appreciate you!

As a person in recovery, I have been in the care of a lot of doctors. Being a doctor is a lot of work, but being a doctor for an addict requires an extra level of understanding. It takes patience and quite a bit of extra time to figure out a patient's more sensitive needs and often long and detailed drug history. I have been seeing Dr. Peterson since I moved to LA in the spring of last year, so for over a year now. I notice a stark difference between his methods of practice and addictions specialists I have seen in the past. Dr. Peterson has really taken the time to get to know my personal history with medications I have been prescribed in the past and double and triple check my subjective experiences with these medications while in addition to my medical record. Often for addicts, medication is an emotional subject; Dr. Peterson's therapeutic communication is superior to all other doctors I have seen since shifting from regular family physicians to addiction specialists and I have always felt comfortable and never embarrassed in his care. Dr. Peterson has gone above and beyond to get to know me as a patient and a person. He knows addiction treatment is more dynamic process than writing patient prescriptions. He understands addiction as an incurable disease that requires lifelong treatment and tackles this truth head-on with a contagiously positive and motivating attitude. It is a fact that Dr. Peterson has improved my quality of life not only through his care as a medical provider but also as a role model. Another point I would like to note is that he remains conscious of a patient's financial situation, another example of his ethical excellence.

Patient abandonment just proves he is in it for the money and not the patients. Great guy when you are talking to him and seems to really care but as a lot of his patients found out it's not necessarily the truth. But hey he will give you all the injections that don't work that you want

I'm a psychologist that works with personality disorder and trauma, and I continue to refer clients to him due to the high quality of care he provides and expert consultation. When Dr. Goldenberg takes a case, he engages in ongoing consultation with all treatment providers to ensure consistency, continuity of care, and overall highly effective treatment all around. He never assumes authority over any other provider, and engages with each as colleagues supporting each other's work for the best outcome for a client. As a colleague, he is an invaluable resource on every case he works on. All of my clients have reported very positive experiences and successful outcomes with their treatment with him. They often report he is highly respectful of their needs and wishes, never pressures any client to take medication or engage in an intervention, and offers multiple options and perspectives on how to achieve their goals. He is very kind and approachable, and clients report they trust him to work in their best interests and feel very safe in his care. If you are a client or a referring provider, Dr. Goldenberg will certainly exceed your expectations and provide expert care and supportive treatment.

He focuses on conservative treatment methods such as physical therapy before just diving in and doing random medical procedures. I have been dealing with bulging discs in my lumbar for the last 7 years or so and my general practitioner has referred me to Dr. Jung. We started with physical therapy with minimal relief. Dr. Jung recommended we do bilateral injections in the impacted areas. These have helped provide some relief but not permanent. Unfortunately, COVID hit and it reduced treatment options for a period of time until he was able to start doing injections for me again. Unfortunately, we had to have a double laminectomy which was performed by Dr. Shamie (a colleague of Dr. Jung) and that surgery was very successful. I started getting similar symptoms after about 18 months or so and we had to have an MRI done. The MRI revealed the surgery was successful but scar tissue was growing in causing the new symptoms. Dr. Jung recommended another injection as surgery would not be logical as removing scar tissue will just create more scarring. These injection was not as successful as we hoped it would be, so Dr. Jung recommended another injection spinal cord stimulator which has worked wonders. I am very grateful to Dr. Jung and his fellows that he works closely with as he is constantly empathetic, kind, caring, and does everything he can to help with pain management without just giving a ton of pills. I highly recommend Dr. Jung as he will do everything possible to help you. I must mention the office staff are phenomenal and very helpful.
