I was referred to TCI and knew I needed to go, but didn't want to go. That all changed once I got there. TCI changed my life and forced me to look in a mirror and get comfortable with being uncomfortable and face the parts of me that have been anchoring me from true freedom and inner peace. The program they run is rigourous and caused some serious brain pain, but I was able to break through parts of me that have I've been hiding for most of my life. Each person has their own style of doing things and contributed different things that I needed to receive while I was there, and to me, it was the perfect staff. From crying, to laughing, to being vulnerable and feeling comfortable enough to dig deep and share things with perfect strangers that I've never shared with anyone else; I've never felt more safe, heard, and just allowed to be myself without judgement. Instead I was met with compassion, understanding, and comfort. I don't trust people easily, and I trust every person at TCI with my life, because they not only changed my life, they saved my life. If I name one person in this review, I'm going to have to name all of them (that's a long list), but I was able to go home with the tools I know will help me manage my recovery on a daily basis, and because of that, my fears have lost power over me. I'm eternally grateful to each and every staff member at TCI. Thank you for your kindness, love and care (and for the brain pain experienced from being forced to be honest with myself). I am eternally grateful. This is the place to go if you want to experience true freedom from self. His treatments helped and anyone would be lucky to be his patient. I know some current patients feel abandoned, but he didn't just up and leave. He was faced with a very sudden, debilitating illness that left him unable to properly refer patients. I know he intends to come back as soon as he's physically able and I hope all his patients are willing to offer him the same patience and compassion for his illness that he always showed with ours. In the meantime, I opened a group on Facebook for people to try to find appropriate referrals. Based on our experience, I would not recommend allowing your child to come to this facility under…read moreany circumstances. A psychiatric facility caring for vulnerable children should be a place where parents can trust that their child is safe, supervised, respected, and receiving appropriate care. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. The communication with me as a parent was extremely poor. I repeatedly struggled to get clear and timely information about my daughter's care and often felt that I had to chase staff for basic updates. There was also significant confusion surrounding my daughter's diabetes medication and care. Her medication was not administered correctly according to the instructions and information provided to the facility, which was extremely concerning given how important proper diabetes management is. I should never have had to worry about whether my daughter was receiving her medication correctly while she was hospitalized. The doctor, Dr. Wong, was also extremely disappointing. I found his communication to be rude, dismissive, and condescending when I attempted to advocate for my daughter and provide information that I believed was important to her treatment. Parents should not feel belittled or dismissed for asking questions or raising legitimate concerns about their child. My daughter also reported witnessing a child being given medication that she believed was incorrect, after which the child became unresponsive or passed out and paramedics were called. I was not personally present and cannot independently verify exactly what happened, but hearing my daughter describe this was extremely disturbing. She also reported being placed in a room with another patient who behaved in a sexually inappropriate manner, which caused her to feel unsafe and uncomfortable. No child receiving psychiatric treatment should be placed in an environment where they feel vulnerable to inappropriate behavior from another patient. I specifically requested that my daughter's phone access be restricted, yet she was still able to access and use a phone. This was incredibly frustrating because I made the request intentionally and expected it to be communicated and followed. When a child is experiencing a mental health crisis and is placed in a psychiatric facility, parents should be able to trust that the facility will provide a safe, supportive, appropriately supervised environment and that important medical needs will be handled correctly. Instead, our experience left me questioning the communication, medication management, supervision, judgment, and overall safety practices at this facility. I would not recommend allowing your child to come here under any circumstances. If you are considering this facility for your child, I strongly encourage you to thoroughly research other options and ask very detailed questions about patient safety, staffing, medication administration, medical conditions, supervision, room assignments, phone access, and how parent concerns are handled before making a decision.

I participated in every single group and never missed a single day. during my stay someone relasped on meth and was allowed back into the program. I was let go after crying and begging to stay for hitting my weed vape pen , admitting it and promising I would stop bc I needed this accountability . They refused and asked me to leave . I want everyone to know I left and went to a place called Totality . That continues to work with me and every single client to ensure they can stay and work on themselves. I also recently saw a client that relapsed back at clear again . I have been sober ever since , and that is because of leaving clear and finding a place that is welcome to all addicts and alcoholics with open arms . Dr. Jae Jung has been an incredible doctor for me. He is extremely knowledgeable and cares about…read morehis patients. He focuses on conservative treatment methods such as physical therapy before just diving in and doing random medical procedures. I have been dealing with bulging discs in my lumbar for the last 7 years or so and my general practitioner has referred me to Dr. Jung. We started with physical therapy with minimal relief. Dr. Jung recommended we do bilateral injections in the impacted areas. These have helped provide some relief but not permanent. Unfortunately, COVID hit and it reduced treatment options for a period of time until he was able to start doing injections for me again. Unfortunately, we had to have a double laminectomy which was performed by Dr. Shamie (a colleague of Dr. Jung) and that surgery was very successful. I started getting similar symptoms after about 18 months or so and we had to have an MRI done. The MRI revealed the surgery was successful but scar tissue was growing in causing the new symptoms. Dr. Jung recommended another injection as surgery would not be logical as removing scar tissue will just create more scarring. These injection was not as successful as we hoped it would be, so Dr. Jung recommended another injection spinal cord stimulator which has worked wonders. I am very grateful to Dr. Jung and his fellows that he works closely with as he is constantly empathetic, kind, caring, and does everything he can to help with pain management without just giving a ton of pills. I highly recommend Dr. Jung as he will do everything possible to help you. I must mention the office staff are phenomenal and very helpful.
