The concerns that I came to the appointment with, that had nothing to do with medication, were not addressed. It's sad because up until this appointment I didn't have this problem, and felt we were working together and on the same page when it came to my child. I hope it was just an off day and I can come back and change my rating for them.

I'm not one to write reviews, but parents who are looking for a good Dr. I would HIGHLY recommended Dr.Shah, He gives back his time to ensure we walk outta there with a clear understanding. Again, he'd educate us on the medication he wanted to prescribe AND he gave us a choice on whether he wanted to take it. He goes above and beyond teaching us how pharmacy's work and different drug manufacture of generic brand vs name brand. I had two infusions that week then one each week for the next four weeks, then three weeks out and the next one is 5 weeks out. Since then, I've been practicing yoga 4-5 days per week, go grocery shopping, spend time with friends, quit whining and it seems that my fibromyalgia pain has calmed way down. My brain isn't as scattered as it used to be and I've become alert, more calm, with less anxiety. It feels like someone breathed life into me and I feel like a whole person. I'm thankful I found Dr. Kane and Ketamine Milwaukee. He has a great staff and I really look forward to my treatments not only because they help me, but I get to escape from myself for a while. It's a nice ride. One last thing. I'm on a fixed income. The treatments are a bit pricey, but I always make it work. Credit cards are good. Both are extremely compassionate and made me feel comfortable right away. I was impressed with the easy of getting connected with both professionals. The intake coordinator was great at finding me someone to meet my specific needs. My only complaint was at my initial visit, I wasn't sure where to go or what to do as there was no receptionist. I just had to wait in the waiting area and the therapist came out to get me. It wasn't the best first impression, but since then, it's been a good place to work with.

I am now moving back to the area after a psychiatric crisis and 9 day stay in a psychiatric hospital. Dr Kohlenberg assured me when i saw him last that he would welcome me back if i returned to the area. I called today and was told by his office manager Gail (more on her later) that the doctor would not see me because he is not taking new patients, and. even though i was gone less than one year, I am condidered new. I asked Gail to have the doctor call me and. She herself called back a few minutes later and left me a message saying the doctor was sorry, but he was not accepting new patients. Lol I suspect the doctor never even got my mesdage. Gail is the gatekeeper, a job that has obviously gone to her head. She is probably the least compassionate woman I've ever encountered in a mental health practice. She ignores patients standing right in front of her, and speaks with derision when she does deign to notice at all. The Doctor is knowledgeable, but clearly complicit in the disfunctional, cold-hearted front end. My son sees a wonderful ACNP in the office, David Rohde. He has been a wonderful fit for my anxious teen. If it werent for that fact, this yelp review might be more strongly worded.
