I wish he let me do that and go a bit more in depth and if he was set on me getting fillers first I would have felt better about the answer after having expressed my concerns. I have horses, however, and watched our veterinarian perform acupuncture on one that was having neck issues. I saw a marked improvement in that horse. There is no placebo effect for horses. It either works or doesn't. I decided to try it for myself. I had a minor case of stenosis that caused me to have burning pain in my calves after standing for prolonged periods. I also did not like where my weight was. The first time ( 2/14) I went through this diet/acupuncture treatment I lost 44 pounds and lost the burning pain in my legs. I kept off all but 9 pounds and had lost the pain in my calves for over 2 years. Fast forward to 2/17. I had started to experience pain in my calves and back again. Since I was successful in keeping weight off I decided to take the diet again as well. Once again, I am loosing about a pound a day and have seen relief in my lower legs. This diet is not a magic pill. You have to be in the frame of mind that you are going to work at it. (I know some people that think to have a muscular physique all you have to do is join a gym and poof it happens. It doesn't work there and it won't work here, either.) The diet for me is a little boring, but I am not a cook. If I were, it would probably not be so boring. I did find though, on my first time through, that I found myself forcing myself to eat 500 calories. I did not get hungry. It was explained to me that the HCG forces your body to consume up to 3500 calories of fat, so with the 500 calories you eat, you're actually on a 4000 calorie diet per day. The only exercise that was recommended was walking. I don't think that is too physically different than what I normally do each day. The HCG diet lasts about 45 days. I feel I can do anything for 45 days. Some people have reported the staff is unfriendly. I find people are people. Some are better than others at dealing with the public. I didn't sign up for this program for the staff. I signed up for weight loss and pain relief. I am getting what I signed up for. I have not had a problem with the staff and enjoy my appointments.

One even sat with my mom when she could sense my mom was feeling very down. The HUC on the rehab floor is Fi and she is amazing. She has everything scheduled for you before you know you need it and has transportation to and from appointments as well. All of the staff was very friendly and easy to communicate with. If a loved one needs rehab and Congregational Home is a choice you have, choose it.

Throughout my life I have searched for a therapist who I could connect with and trust. That is down to earth and attentive. Understanding that sometimes our sessions will be super productive, through brainspotting and other methods to help with processing, and other times giving me a space to talk. It wasn't until my doula recommended that I see Leslie to work through my postpartum depression and anxiety that I truly found a therapist I connected with. She helped me adjust to motherhood, connect with my child and husband. Made me realize that I am a wonderful and worthy person. She goes above and beyond to connect with me between sessions to check in. Along with being there if I need an extra session or just a few minutes to help me process something. Even with the occasional technology issues, it is easy to schedule with and she is willing to schedule when it fits best within my schedule. In all honesty this review does not even touch the surface of how much of an impact she has made on my life. I am beyond grateful for having such a wonderful therapist in my life.
