Save yourself the stress, money and disappointment, find somewhere else to get your child therapy…read more I made the mistake of using their "services" at the detriment of my son. They have beyond strict "call out" policies that is only applicable to the client and not their employees. Also, the "therapist" they sent to my house reeked of marijuana and when I called the BCBA to discuss my concerns her suggestion was for me to send a code word to her if I felt that the "therapist" was under the influence. Also, this company will nickel and dime you and charge you for days where their employees where a no show. Trying to get this corrected has been a complete and utter nightmare. Also there "therapists" only need to take a 40 hour online course to be authorized to provide "services." These individuals are not credentialed and when I asked about what this person's background was I was told it was confidential. This person perpetuated more issues in my house than they solved. In fact, she turned my home into a place my kids did not want to be. This place is terrible, avoid at all costs. Trust me. I don't write a lot of reviews but felt the need to warn the public.

Not to mention most of the BT's there look 17 to 22 ( They do not drug test employees) so someone can go smoke a blunt put some eye drops in and take care of my disabled child come on now most of them look like they don't even have kids. They're nice, but that doesn't mean they're qualified to take care of your children let alone special needs children that sometimes lash out or get aggressive .I heard a lot of bad things about ABA and I wanted to try it myself. This was just my personal experience so far honestly, I just feel like it was a glorified daycare with glorified babysitters and my son needs more than that I'm looking into OT and speech therapy and possibly a different ABA! Just do your research don't feel pressured into putting your kid into this program full-time ( like me) make sure you ask all the right questions and you meet all the BTs that will be caring for your child. A lot of people tell me you can request in the home sessions to where you can be present, but of course they never offer that to me. Texted them that it was unacceptable and I Never took my son back because I just didn't feel right about it and they didn't reply to me so unprofessional I'm glad I only had my son there for 3 weeks or before he got really badly injured.. follow your mommy instincts! Look around before committing and if u do remember u can take ur child out at ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON!! It's your right

But I need to shout out his primary therapist Priscilla Z. she has been working with him the longest and is absolutely an amazing therapist. I've seen her around with other children as well her passion for helping these kids absolutely shines. She is so patient with my son even when he is having the most difficult of days.

This review is based entirely on my own firsthand experience with Kids Connections Developmental…read moreTherapy Center. I was personally present and involved in the events described below. My brother received services through Kids Connections for approximately eight years. Over the last year, I personally witnessed what I felt was a significant decline in professionalism, communication, and the way our family's concerns were handled. One of the most upsetting incidents happened when the receptionist contacted my mother and stated that my brother had been left alone in the lobby by his therapist. I was there during this situation. Because my brother has an intellectual disability and cannot safely be left unattended, we immediately became extremely concerned. I was personally present when we went inside looking for him. We could not find him and were asking staff if they had seen him. We were becoming so concerned that we were close to calling the police. Eventually, his therapist came out from the back with him. The information we had been given about him being left alone was incorrect. I personally witnessed the confusion and panic this caused our family, and I was disappointed with how the situation was handled afterward. I was also personally present and involved in the ongoing issues regarding my brother's scheduling and his second therapy session. After his therapist went on leave, that second session had not resumed. When my mother contacted the office about it, I was present for the communication and heard the receptionist state that she had a recording of my mother saying she did not want the second session. I personally witnessed my mother deny ever saying that. I was also involved when these concerns were brought to the attention of the owner, Dr. Cynthia Conway. We were told the concerns would be addressed. I later personally reviewed the email our family received from CEO Mayra Solano stating that my brother's referral was being redirected to another agency "due to the concerns" that had been brought to their attention. From my perspective, that response was extremely disappointing. I personally expected the concerns we raised to result in better communication, clarification, and an effort to address what had happened. Instead, after approximately eight years of receiving services through this agency, my brother's referral was redirected elsewhere. As his sister and as someone who was personally present for these events, I found the entire experience upsetting and unprofessional. Families trust organizations like this with people they deeply care about, and I believe clear communication, accountability, compassion, and professionalism are extremely important. I am sharing this review based solely on what I personally witnessed and experienced while dealing with this agency. After everything I personally observed, I was very disappointed with how our family's concerns were handled and with the overall level of communication and customer service we experienced.
