Three, the testing is more thorough than any other evaluation I've ever seen. Four, they put a lot of thought into the report and provide helpful recommendations. Five, it takes only three months to get the report, which is short compared to other places that have waiting lists. Six, everybody there, including the girls who do the testing, are friendly. Seven, this office is high throughput with many clients, nevertheless quality is not sacrificed; in fact, the quantity has given the providers more experience and improved the quality of the services they provide

My daughter has been sick for over six months. I've paid for her to see the doctor to get medicine and the doctor has refused to give my Daughter medicine, claiming she has allergies. I told her the last time that I can't keep paying her not to get medicine. She said I can just call in and she will proscribe my daughter medicine. After my daughter getting sick again and again with a fever, I called the Doctor yesterday and the nurse said the Dr called in the medicine. I waiting for the pharmacy to call and found out this morning, on a Saturday, she never sent it in. I called the Dr and she stated she sent the allergy medicine to the pharmacy in our last visit, which we already picked up and have been using. At that point, the doctor told me I would have to pay for my daughter to see the Dr. again. I told her I can't keep paying her to not treat my daughter and got into an argument with her, because her solution was for me to get a different Doctor. Now, after six months, I'm in the ER with my daughter who has a fever, high blood pressure for the infection and ex rays to make sure this continued non treatment has not cause pneumonia. As I told the Dr. over the phone, she is a terrible human to take peoples money and refuse to treat them. I will be making a written complaint against her license to n Monday.

Then when we finally get in to see the doctor, he confirms the diagnoses we had received from Foothill Presbyterian two days before -- Croup. Then this friggin' guy goes on to tell me that we need to go back to the ER, because he "can't in good conscience send us home" because the baby "could stop breathing and he didn't want that on his hands." He said we needed an xray of his throat and chest immediately or he could die. SERIOUSLY? We go back to Foothill and they immediately start questioning what the hell this dude was talking about. We are in the ER for an hour and they were able to do 10x more than this doctor did. They confirmed he was NOT AT THE RISK OF DYING, and not to worry. Seriously? I am done with all these damn scare tactic doctors and these false doctor reviews. What a JOKE!! Don't go here! PLEASE!! I am changing doctors immediately.

Both of my children were referred, authorized, evaluated, and started the intake process together, yet weeks later we are suddenly being told they must now be scheduled on separate days and different times despite me making my expectations very clear from the beginning. I specifically explained upfront that if these accommodations could not be met, we would seek services elsewhere instead of wasting valuable time waiting through this process. Instead of listening, the office continued the process only to later tell us they could not accommodate what was already discussed. Melva contacted me multiple times only to repeatedly say there was "nothing she can do," which is unacceptable considering this issue was created by the facility's own lack of communication and scheduling consistency. She also refused to provide management or owner contact information when requested, making it even more frustrating to try and resolve the issue professionally. To make matters worse, Zoom appointments were suggested for my son despite being informed he cannot effectively participate in long virtual sessions due to focus and attention difficulties. Families seeking services deserve clear communication, honesty, and respect from the beginning -- especially when dealing with children and lengthy referral/authorization wait times. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here.

BCBS told me there were multiple claims submitted for the same dates of service under different providers, even though I only had one visit on each date and had already paid my copays. Instead of taking accountability and fixing it, the office was dismissive and kept trying to make it my problem. Nadia, who identified herself as the manager, was especially dismissive. She did not want to listen to what I was saying and just kept telling me I was responsible for the remaining balance, even while I was trying to explain that the balance appeared to be incorrectly billed. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield and this office was supposed to be in network. Otherwise, there is no reason I would have driven an hour to go there in the first place. The billing process felt sloppy, the communication was terrible, and the staff seemed much more interested in collecting money than resolving an obvious dispute. My first visit should have been a warning sign. They made me drive all the way from Hollywood to Glendora for an in-person initial evaluation, then kept me waiting about an hour for the nurse practitioner. Overall: rude staff, poor communication, billing problems, and no accountability. I would never go back.

At check-in, I was not informed that the doctor was running behind or that there were multiple patients ahead of us. After waiting 30 minutes, I checked in again and was told by a different front office staff member that the doctor was behind schedule. When I asked for a realistic estimate of the wait time, I was told they didn't know, but that there were still two patients ahead of us. We ultimately waited over 90 minutes and were never called in. A 90-minute wait is extremely unprofessional--especially for a teenage patient who missed school to attend this appointment. Had I been informed upfront about the delay, I could have made a different decision. I requested a refund of my copay and will not be returning. This experience was deeply disappointing and poorly communicated. Do better.

Our family was referred to Katie after my husband and I were granted permanent guardianship of our…read more5 year old grandson. Our grandson suffered so much neglect, abuse and loss in his short little life, it was hard to tell whether his difficulties were as a result of in utero drug/alcohol exposure, developmental delays or sheer trauma! We were so relieved to finally "get" Katie, who kindly and compassionately helped guide us through the process of getting the answers we wanted and the help our grandson needed! We have found Katie to be reliable, conscientious and very thorough. She has even gone to school with our grandson and spent the day with him and his teachers, in order to get a clearer picture of the issues he faces. But more importantly, Katie is empathetic! She has sat in our home, more than once, and cried with us. That kind of emotional support is invaluable to us, above and beyond the practical help that she continues to provide. She is a gift to our family.

A gentleman answered the call and said that he would take my number and call me in 10 - 15 mins. He did call back and left a message while I was in the other line speaking to someone else. The reason why it was odd is because it seemed that he was not at work and was whispering into the phone making it difficult to hear. The whole interaction was frustrating so I opted to drive in to the center to make the appointment in person. Once I arrived, it took a long time to receive any service and even longer for the receptionist to take my information, but I was able to make the appointment for the following week. Despite the odd and slow experience, I am very grateful to have been able to make the appointment in person.

Arrived early, was seen within a few minutes, and was out the door in 30 (total). Best of all, the TB test was free. They offered me the choice of the bubble which I would have to come back in two days or a blood test where I could get a digital result. Docked one star for the person that did my initial registration, misspelled my last name even though I spelled it a few times. The person at the desk, although very nice, also did not confirm or check the spelling when I said I never received the email confirmation.
