Imagine telling someone in the 1800s, one day people will voluntarily eat tofu and then proving them wrong for over a century. The buffet system is dangerous because you pile it high, weigh it, and dig in. Honestly a fantastic concept. Great location near the train station too, which is helpful because you may need immediate transportation after accidentally eating your body weight in all the options.

The place is located on the third-floor of a department store, to which we ascended ina nclear elevator (a hit with the kids!) Lots of good choice, plus a number of dessert, I was plenty full by the time I left. Would be glad to come back to try again
The best vegetarian restaurant I've ever been to. Yummy. And Claudia, the manager was amazing. Helpful and sweet.

Vegan Buffet: Was the suggestion of co-workers, not my choice. Though I wanted to like this place since I do like the vegan agenda, but just couldn't get into it. The croissant was good but the texture was off as it was slightly undercooked. The cappuccino was fine but it was very milky and I didn't get the flavor of the cappuccino like in Italy and France. The place itself is clean and the service is quick but you are paying far more than what is reasonable since my cappuccino and croissant came to 9.00 CHF or about $10 USD. If you're in desperate need of caffeine this place does the job and that's about it.

It's not 100% vegan, but the non-vegan items are well-marked. It's a decent sized restaurant, and if it's nice outside, there are a few tables you can grab. This was definitely my partner and I's preference when we came in August, a beautiful summer day. As much as I tried not to overfill my plate, there were so many excellent options, including delicious momo. Rest assured, you will leave here very satisfied. As for service, again, it's buffet so pretty straight forward with ordering some beverages and paying at the end.
