I ordered the American omelette that I thought was pretty good. Unfortunately, no rice. Potatoes were well seasoned. I normally don't finish my wheat toast it the jam was really good and so I was able to eat enjoy both slices of toast. Items are reasonably priced. And yes, I would come back in the future.

The best value that Jan provides is accessibility and flexibility. If you send a question, she gets back to you right away. She's flexible in changing plans as well. She works with you beforehand and day of to make sure everything happens on time. She's constantly scanning the room making sure everything's going smoothly. In addition, she provides additional services like providing drinks service and serving the cake. The chapel itself is lovely. The main room is beautiful and has great acoustics. Jan has her own decorations that you can use, but you can also bring your own. In addition, there is ample (separate) rooms for the bride and groom to get ready and a small kitchen where drinks and cakes can be prepared. Make no mistake, this is a modest space. It's beautiful, but it's not immaculate. It has a "country church" feel, which was perfect for us. If you plan on having your ceremony and reception here, plan on keeping your guest list under 50. We did that and had a great time. It was exactly what we were looking for for our modest but nice wedding. He would even hype me up and share in my anticipation and excitement as the day of my event came closer. He made sure to listen to my drink preferences and put together a four-drink menu for me. The day of my event I was very pleased with the excellent service he provided. I loved the little drink menu he made with my name on it so my guests would know what is available and that gesture made me feel very special. He took care of me throughout the whole night bringing me my drinks to where I was; he made sure I was able to taste all the drinks on my menu without needing to ask. He took very good care of my guests and of my DJ (wish I had looked out for my DJ more but Luis made sure to taking him drinks). My guests raved about Luis/L Trago saying he provided excellent service, he was fun and lively and that the drinks were so good and he was very attentive to everyone's needs. He even danced with me once he was done serving, hyped me up during my party and was quick to respond to my requests such as serving up shots for the whole house. I cannot recommend L Trago enough and I will definitely be hiring him again.

While visiting the base a few months ago, we spent some time at the lake area. The weather was perfect, no humidity, very clean air! They outside is well taken care of, tables and benches and trails that lead to the lake. I'm hoping to spend more time at the lake next year. Its absolutely beautiful place to visit.

The ballrooms don't look like they're taken from medieval European architecture, but this is a military base, not Cinderella's Castle. There are civilians working here late into the night to take care of your food and alcohol needs, which is nice. The next time I go to another dining in, it'll probably be here again, so I already can't wait!

I would strongly advise caution before booking this venue. I will say the venue itself is beautiful…read morehowever the owners are a nightmare! Mainly the lady. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely negative due to the behavior of the staff, particularly Bonnie. My employee and I were made to feel uncomfortable by her hostile attitude and lack of professionalism toward both vendors and guests. During the reception, Bonnie repeatedly interrupted to criticize and micromanage minor issues rather than allowing guests to enjoy the celebration. At one point, a wedding guest threw ice into a nearby weeded area. Although we had no involvement and were unaware it had happened, Bonnie immediately approached us and held us responsible for the guest's actions in an unpleasant tone in front of guest. She also accused us of dumping juice on the grass, despite the fact that we did not even have juice on-site we were serving a pre-batched margarita, and all waste was properly disposed of in the trash. Another issue arose when a plug was missing from one of the venue's coolers. The cooler had been sitting in the same location before we arrived, yet we were essentially blamed for the missing item without any evidence. Later, as we were breaking down our equipment, Bonnie sent her husband to stand and watch us the entire time, which felt unnecessary, uncomfortable, and unprofessional. To make matters worse, I was later accused of taking a table that actually belonged to us. Throughout my years working events, I have never encountered a venue with such a negative and unwelcoming atmosphere. My impression is that couples are presented with a friendly and accommodating image during the booking process, only to experience something entirely different on their wedding day. If staff are unable to tolerate children playing, guests celebrating responsibly, or vendors doing their jobs, then the hospitality industry may not be the right fit. This was one of the most uncomfortable venue experiences I have had, and I would not recommend spending your money here.
