As you go further in the back it gets more spacious. Since I am from nyc and this is a small town some items were expensive and some were really a good price. They have a large wine selection & I was able to find a decent rosè at a decent price. There is one cashier and she was kind and efficient. She worked fast They also have a free chilling service box which was cool I had to try it. So basically it chills your drink the longer you leave your bottle in the cooler your drink gets! Anyhow if you are in the area stop in they have way more then just liquor, they have beer, wine, popsicles and much more for a local small town store its cool!

I told him he needs to go to another line. I asked for a manager, first manager told the cashier to put up the belt, he will bag. The belt was broken, he left without saying a word. I asked the cashier to ring me up before she rings him up, his last order wasn't even on the belt. The cashier saw another manager at the next register assisting another cashier. The cashier asked her help. The manager told me to go to customer service to be rung up. I just left! This is not an isolated incident with door dash orders. I am not the only person to complain about the store manager not doing anything with these people! If they don't care about their policies and their loyal customers. Then they deserve their business!

We found some adirondack chairs to sit back and relax. There's a decent amount of outdoor seating but as it gets more crowded it's a good idea to bring your own chair as recommended on their website. There were no events on this day, but Layton's Chance does hold many events throughout the year that appear to be very popular. I noticed some of their upcoming holiday functions are already sold out. After finishing our flights it was on to the much raved about wine slushies. You can get small (12oz) or large (16 oz). It is with good reason the slushies are mentioned a lot in the reviews. Oh my they are delicious!!! The featured flavors on our visit were peach bellini and one made with the Freedom wine. I asked the lady about the goats outside and she said to not trust them because they will sing you a sad song everytime. Not that I didn't believe her, but they were calling us so I needed to see what was up. She was right, they sang all of the sad songs. Oh, if you decide to feed them, keep your eye on the big one cause he's a jerk, will assure you that he hasn't eaten in days and then will try to steal the food from others. If one of the little ones keeps moving, move with him because he knows the drill and knows the big one will steal all the food.
