First time here with my youngest. The vibe of the lobby is…read morevery chill, and I absolutely loved the aquarium and animal life to observe instead of video games or iPads. The staff was so friendly & right away I could see this office works like a well oiled machine. Every step taken was explained beforehand from x-rays to fluoride treatment to teeth cleaning and polishing, which was invaluable to us as my son was a little nervous. The treatment area is very open, clean, and neat. The exam went smoothly and we left with an entry into the no-sugar bug raffle for having no cavities. Success! We found our new pediatric dental office. We both loved it here.

It's never a good sign if you are not allowed to be alone with your unconscious child. Especially if they are special needs. Do not bring your child to this office or to any office that does not allow you to be with them. Literally ANYTHING could be happening and you aren't there to protect them. Please keep THIS in mind. If you feel this review is paranoid, please read the reviews below mine and use Google as a way to search about things like this. Update: Unfortunately, Due to Covid and many changes within the healthcare system, it's difficult to be in the back room with your child while they are under anesthesia. This is incredibly frustrating as you can't trust everyone with your children. Even licensed professionals. I encourage everyone to do as much research as you can on the places you consider for your child's care. Read reviews and ask around to get a better picture of where you are taking your child. I will leave a link below on how to report concerning behavior regarding a licensed professional. Even if you don't get justice for what happened to your child, reporting them is a step in the right direction to help establish a pattern. As parents, we're doing the best we can and that's what matters. https://www.dbc.ca.gov/consumers/complaints.shtml

I took my son here for his very first dental visit and left extremely disappointed. I specifically…read morechose a pediatric dentist expecting kindness, warmth, and patience for a child naturally nervous at a first appointment. Unfortunately, our experience was the complete opposite--from the front desk to the dentist. A few days before our visit, I spoke with the front desk receptionist over the phone. She came across as sharp, indifferent, and irritable. Against my better judgment, I brought my son anyway, hoping she was just having a bad day. Upon arrival, she was stern, unfriendly, and completely unwelcoming--even when I smiled. I tried to chalk it up to "maybe another bad day," but this was just the start. While waiting, we watched a "1st dental visit" video on YouTube, which helped my son get excited instead of nervous. I didn't expect balloons, stickers, or fanfare--just a smile would have been enough. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff followed the same pattern. The tech who called our name had no greeting, no smile, and no warmth. The x-ray tech was harsh and condescending, repeatedly saying "don't bite down" without explaining what she was doing. My son's curiosity quickly turned into fear. The dental assistant was completely disengaged, no greeting, no explanation. When she tried to use the dental brush, my son screamed out of fear, and instead of comforting him, she condescendingly closed the door and forced him to hold the instrument, telling him it "didn't hurt." This was deeply upsetting and made my son feel unsafe and unheard. Finally, the dentist arrived, wearing the same stern, tired expression. No smile, no reassurance, no effort to calm my son--just straight to business. My son went into full panic mode, and the staff simply shut the door, offering no comfort or distraction. This visit was supposed to be a positive introduction to dental care, but it was instead stressful, cold, and upsetting. I regret ignoring my gut feeling after that initial phone call. I will not return, and I hope management seriously examines the culture of this office--children deserve far better. Takeaway: A simple smile goes a long way. I don't know what happened the day of my son's visit but regardless of what happened, if anything, that's personal business that should remain in the back office, the faces of the staff represent the business. FIRST IMPRESSIONS last and I will not visit this place again
