There's always a great range of seasonal items- right now, there's a ton of spring and Easter options- in a wide price range, and they're more unique, not necessarily what you'd find in any store. There are also staples like candles, picture frames, and jewelry available year round. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they have great gift wrapping. Make sure to sign up for their rewards program, too! If you're looking for a gift, you'll absolutely find what you need in Splurge, but you'll also probably find five things for yourself!

Soaring tin ceilings, loaded to the gills with the most fabulous things. Therapy for the soul. I spent almost 3 hours there. I watched as the owner, in a dress appointment, sized up her client in a millisecond, and had her dressed to the nines within minutes. There's something mystical going on in here. I wish I could explain it but it's something that you HAVE TO see and experience for yourself.

The owner is a celebrity stylist who can give one look at you and know what dresses will fit you perfectly. I cannot wait to come back for an event and buy a dress. 5 stars!!!!

If you are interested in cool, novelty antiques, vintage jewelry, jeans and t-shirts, vinyl in excellent condition, and antique housewares, RUN-don't walk- to Vintage Shop Carmel. The prices aren't low, but they're fair. Similar items selling on Poshmark and eBay and other such sites are going for double and sometimes triple the prices that they are asking for. They are extremely knowledgeable in their vocation. They know what they're doing and they know the proper price point. They also offer really cool and unique up-cycled products. I urge you to go check out the up-cycled vintage 80s jeans. Vintage Shop Carmel is also a consignment shop so if you yourself are looking to sell vintage or antique goods, including clothing and purses at a great price, they're the ones for you. Last, but not least the ladies who own and work at the shop are absolutely positively incredible. Not only are they knowledgeable, but they are funny. They are kind. They are down to earth and they are helpful. I have a lot of experience with vintage shops and consignment shops, and I have always felt slightly uncomfortable and out of place. However, at this shop, I felt totally at ease and like I belonged. I highly recommend at least going in and checking it out. You'll thank me!

They have all the supplies you could ever dream of, and I love how there are always people in the store working on their projects. The store has created an incredible community of crafty people who share a love for knitting and crocheting, and I have met wonderful people there! They've got plenty of parking in the back and local street parking in the nearby area. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area and looking for a new craft!

There's also a nice section of tables and chairs by the window to just sit and do some knitting + socializing with other people working on their WIPs. I called the store in advance to help set aside some yarn (so I could just pay right at the counter) and they were super accommodating since I was looking to get a ton of yarn, too. Overall, the yarns at the store are of great quality and price, and the selection covers nearly all types of yarn for all sorts of projects. I will definitely make this my local yarn stores for my future projects, and they carry one of my favorite yarn brands like Knitting for Olive! Heads up: one of the staff said that they rotate yarn fibers seasonally so you're going to see more selections of wool/heavier yarns in the fall and winter, and lighter yarns like cotton in the spring and summer.
