My review is strictly based on my experience during the National History Day competition... With…read morethat being said, the school itself is a pretty cool building. I thought that the layout was functional. The bathrooms, halls and classrooms that we went into were clean and organized. The actual competition was a little chaotic. I accidentally left my purse at the school... Thankfully, one of the teachers, Darlene Tanner, found it and contacted me! I was so grateful for her and her willingness to try and reach me and not leave my purse in the office! I'm so glad that when people like me make dumb mistakes, there are kind and honest people in this world that will still do the right thing! The only reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is because I don't have a child that goes to this school and I don't feel that it would be fair for me to fully rate this school with out knowing more about the staff and academics at this school.

They do have tons of extra curricular activities and the classes are really good . I can't agree…read morewith their bullying policy if they don't teach their WHITE students that saying derogatory terms is not ok . I've heard several students say N word and R**D word (all white ) claiming that it's ok for them to say it because they have a cousin who's black or special needs ??!!! What? I feel like the school as well as parents have the responsibility to teach their children about these degrading languages . Although there is a very small amount of diversity in any school in southern Utah I believe that everyone should be taught to be a responsible and kind human being . The real world is quickly approaching for these kids and the real world doesn't take too kindly to racist and prejudice.
