I can't say enough good about Katy's Laugh & Learn Preschool! Katy is a wonderful teacher and her…read morepreschool is the most well-rounded preschool I've seen (and my kids have been to a few different preschools). She goes above and beyond with not just teaching letters and numbers, but also giving them a head start for kindergarten by teaching things such as sight words. There were many fun field trips and special parties throughout the year, and the kids also had plenty of physical play as well.

I have never been treated in a such a disrespectful way at a job. Kathie has been the worst boss I…read morehave ever experienced. When I initially got the job I was supposed to be teaching art to the older kids, but instead at the very last minute was put in the baby room. Which if that was their plan then they should've been more up front when hiring me. It just shows that Kathie lacks integrity. While working there I noticed a few things 1. Kathie will put her kids above anyone else's. Her 8 year old daughter often goes to the daycare and is often rude and disrespectful. I noticed during lunch Kathie purposely would ignore other kids who were asking for extra food, and instead give it to her kid who wasn't even asking for anything extra. 2. They will leave you in a room by yourself to care for many babies at once! It's nearly impossible to be able to keep up with feeding, nap time, and diaper changing. Most of the time I have to care for 2 little babies and 4 toddlers. Which can be a lot when you don't have a place to set down the babies. She also lied to me when I decided to quit and didn't pay me for my last shift working there! There is so much more that happened but overall it's just not a healthy place to send your kids. I do have respect for some of the staff there, but with Kathie as the administrator it's not a very good environment for anyone. I would not recommend sending your kids there or working there. It's a place that I don't see getting any better as long as Kathie is the administrator.

I highly recommend if your looking for amazing childcare for your little ones!…read more I've been taking my two kids here since October 2022 & my kids have so much fun here! The staff is great & they really love kids. My older kid gets excited to see his school friends & my baby gets excited to see the workers. As a working mom with no family in the area to take care of my kids, the people working here have become my kids second family! I'm so grateful for them & their hard work in helping my children learn & grow. They have an app to check your kids in & out! This app will also give you timely updates of meals, naps, diaper changes, and occasional pictures of your child! I always look at the app for an update while they're at daycare & that helps to give me peace of mind. Beehive is a great facility that does fun activities with kids & they have the most amazing staff! Worth looking into if you're in need of childcare!

They really loved our kids the year they were there and made them feel special. My kids loved the field trips during the summer and grew really close to staff. Unfortunately we moved and both of us work closer to our house so it ended up being way out of the way and we had to switch. We really regret it, but it just isn't feasible to drive them over there. I would def recommend this place hands down. My kids miss it terribly.

Make sure you take back spare clothes or they'll charge you $40 for a pair of pants that came from DI for 50 cents. They still serve peanut butter even though my child is highly allergic and has had 2 outbreaks already. They get upset that I pack Benadryl in my child's back pack. I asked to have them feed my kids an additional snack because I pick them up late and they refused (Unless I have a Dr's note). Wow, so my kid gets to starve unless I have a Dr. note saying they need a snack?? Bull shit!!! They feed them some saltine crackers and a glass a milk, they go as minimum as possible on the snacks they serve. And they only get one snack a day. Their facility is nice, but they have a super high turnover. There is always different people in my kids classrooms. They do not work with you at all. If your even a little late, they threaten to kick you out. They simply don't care. I hope to find something better, but the alternatives are more run down and ghetto. I would love Home Away from Home, but they have long wait list!! Hope this helps some moms out there. Wish someone would've told me how things really go inside a daycare.
