I can't say enough good about Katy's Laugh & Learn Preschool! Katy is a wonderful teacher and her…read morepreschool is the most well-rounded preschool I've seen (and my kids have been to a few different preschools). She goes above and beyond with not just teaching letters and numbers, but also giving them a head start for kindergarten by teaching things such as sight words. There were many fun field trips and special parties throughout the year, and the kids also had plenty of physical play as well.

I highly recommend if your looking for amazing childcare for your little ones!…read more I've been taking my two kids here since October 2022 & my kids have so much fun here! The staff is great & they really love kids. My older kid gets excited to see his school friends & my baby gets excited to see the workers. As a working mom with no family in the area to take care of my kids, the people working here have become my kids second family! I'm so grateful for them & their hard work in helping my children learn & grow. They have an app to check your kids in & out! This app will also give you timely updates of meals, naps, diaper changes, and occasional pictures of your child! I always look at the app for an update while they're at daycare & that helps to give me peace of mind. Beehive is a great facility that does fun activities with kids & they have the most amazing staff! Worth looking into if you're in need of childcare!

So I went to pick up daughter's Rx and the parking lot was saturated with cars as the majority of…read morethe businesses were open. First a little info....I have a handicap parking privilege, because I need to use a cane to walk long distances. I usually only use the handicap parking if I am having a particularly bad day and cannot walk to far. I will not park in the handicap spot if there is a spot available close by so that someone else that needs the handicap spot will have access. Today was a bad day but I sucked it up and parked out a ways. When I got out of my truck I noticed that the passenger van for the Beehive Learning Academy was parked in the handicap even though their business is closed. There was no indication on their plate or in the window that they had parking privileges. I looked inside the van wondering if they maybe forgot to put the placard up. Nothing and the school was closed. I called the school and left a message and thought that would maybe make them think twice about what they did. But as I was walking back to my truck I saw another couple an older gentleman with a much older woman. She had a walker and was having a hard time getting across the parking lot. With this I got angry. Someone was incredibly negligent in where they parked the van and put out not only me, but more importantly this son and his mother and other's who needed that spot. I did call the police and report it...why because I stood there on the sidewalk with this woman while her son went to get their car and she was upset that she was inconveniencing me and she wasn't sure she would be able to stand there much longer. I assure her she wasn't and I was actually glad to have gotten to visit with her. After I got her settled in the car I waited for the police. I know this sounds like a real "Karen" move as many would think but I didn't rant or rave. I just want people to know that it wasn't okay. #beehivelearningacademystgeorgeutahyoufailed. #practicewhatyouteach

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!! Gave this place 1/5 stars as 0/5 was not an option. The…read moreexperiences and memories I had here still haunt me today, from the daily verbal abuse from multiple teachers that later turned into anorexia nervosa at age 12, to the constant favoritism shown in every teacher there. By far the most TOXIC AND HORRENDOUS PLACE I HAVE EVER KNOWN. Most of this came from Shelia Bailey (the director and founder) and another teacher who no longer works at the establishment. Shelia, if you are listening to this, I hope you rot in hell. You are the reason I am in therapy every week. You are the reason I grew up believing I was never going to be enough. You are the reason I went home and cried every week, with my mom being helpless as you never responded at her frequent emails and texts to meet up and have a chat about how me and many other girls at the studio were treated. I will never forget the time you yelled and me and a whole class of girls as we cheered on our fellow dancers, and cheering is not "mature" as you mocked us through your microphone in front of the whole studio at our end of year performance. I will never forget how you told my mom that I needed to learn how to stand up for myself and suck it up when I was bullied by another dancer for years, with no retribution at all coming to that dancer. Please do not send your children here unless you want to give them unhealthy mindsets and unrealistic expectations, as well as lasting mental health problems and diagnosed PTSD.

Please bear in mind that this review comes from a parents perspective. I realize my three-year-old…read moreis having a completely different experience, and not aware of the frustrations that I face as a parent. She loves the little tea parties after class. For me, this has not been a good experience. They consistently start late and when I am paying for 30 minute classes it really adds up. At least three times they started 10 minutes or more late. Also if you want to watch your child practice upstairs through the viewing area, there is a small 4 x 3 window where you can fight with a dozen other parents for position to see out. It is abundantly clear that this facility was not built to be a dance studio, it is a very old movie theater. When the kids actually are in practice, even that time is not well spent. There is far too much time spent sitting in a circle or talking, or doing costume changes. As you can imagine with three-year-olds, there's going to be a number of times as well where individual Time is needed with each kid and that also distracts from the class time. So to recap, my three-year-old has enjoyed her experience but I have not. Her last dance class started 10 minutes late and they spent half the time watching the big kids dance. It look like she had a good time but if I needed her distracted I could've just put her in front of the tv.
