He approached in an aggressive manner and told us, we were not allowed to sit there and had 15 minutes to finish our food and leave. No explanation, no offer to help us relocate. When I politely explained that we always sat there and did not know it was part of the restaurant, and were half way through our meals, he became even more aggressive and told us, we had 15 minutes or he would be calling the police to have both myself and my 5 year old child " forcibly removed from the restaurant" My son was very scared and did not want the rest of his dinner, so we left. Imagine threatening a small child that he would be forcibly removed if he took more than 15 minutes to eat his dinner.... We were so shocked. Advertised as family friendly but I believe Jack should be nowhere near small children.

We have 2 kids but had to ask for activity packs. The veg with the main course was overcooked almost to pulp and my wife's steak was just gristle. We complained to the manager (who looked about 12!) and he offered us free coffee (which we don't drink) and we all know how much it costs them to serve, then tried a free ice cream ! Any where else would have not charged for the steak ! After a big row we left disgusted. The staff have not heard of customer service and the food was worse than any pub or cafe I have ever been in.
