I visited NV with some friends on a Hen night in the summer. Its a very elegant restaurant in a converted old bank building. You enter from the front main entrance and the tables are all laid out in front of you. This entrance is then closed after a certain time and the band/guest artists set up here with the dance floor. Towards the back of the restaurant you are invited up the large circular staircase to the bar overlooking the main restaurant. When you are to be seated you come back down the staircase and take your seats. Service is so so. Nor brilliant but certainly not bad. The host/owner? when we were there was a little rude and that may put me off coming again but the food was very good. Not particularly large portions but very tasty. They have a lot of 'themed' nights at the weekends with artists mimicking people such as Tom Jones or George Michael and the guy we saw was particularly good, a bit like Stars in their Eyes. May go again for another event but doubtful I would book just with a friend. read more
