Food was fine (typical Beefs) and waitress was very attentive-- quick with drinks and refills. The location on the St John's River is stunning. BUT the food was agonizingly slow to come out. We were watching basketball (Go Gators) so we were distracted but it seemed like a huge problem. Kitchen was definitely understaffed. read more

We tried this place since it's attached to the hotel. The restaurant was empty. Not many people. We ordered loaded nachos and a shrimp po boy. The nachos were not good. They tasted stale . The po boy was all lettuce and bread. Very few shrimp. I wouldn't order it again. We will not be back. read more

Ok so when there are this many 1 star reviews that's a pattern but against my better judgement we came here, this was my experience tonight from start to finish: 5:45pm arrive at the restaurant with my 7 year old son, the bartender told us to sit anywhere and gave us menus/silverware 6:00pm finally approached by server #1 asking if we want anything to drink, after giving drink order she leaves and then 5-10 minutes later server #2 comes to the table and asks if we would like anything to drink to which I said I already put my drink order with another person she said she needed to write it down anyways so I repeated my drink order and she comes back with drinks a couple minutes later 6:15pm this is the time we put in our order for food, mind you the restaurant is pretty much dead there is maybe 3-4 tables with people and a few people at the bar 6:30pm food still hasn't come server #2 approaches and asked if I wanted a refill to which I said yes because it's been a while and we still haven't got our food 7:00pm server #2 comes to another table adjacent to ours and takes someone's order after I let them finish I was beginning to ask server about our food, before I could even say a word she asked if I wanted the check, let me tell you if looks could kill I would be in prison but I just said we never received our food she just said oh and left to serve other tables with no urgency at all 7:15pm at this point I'm livid, server #1 comes to take an order from another table behind ours, so I let them order because I'm not rude, as soon as she's done I said excuse me sorry before you leave, she then cuts me off and asked if I wanted my check, I replied with well I would if I already consumed my food which I haven't it has been over 45 minutes she got wide eyed and left to go to the kitchen to investigate even coming out a few minutes later with almost all the staff at the same time looking at our table and then going into the kitchen 7:20pm I'm heading out the door, I told server #1 we're leaving, this is ridiculous the amount of people came and went greeted served got the check and are leaving all the meanwhile nothing at our table I have not felt this invisible my entire life, it's like the freaking twilight zone or something After leaving we always wanted to try Angels Diner across the street, we live out of town, went in there service was great food was great in and out in 45 minutes and that's only because they had an insane amount of to go orders to do before we got there, just go there because this place sucks read more

Food was okay, but we didn't get exactly what we ordered. The service was terrible. We opted to sit outside to enjoy the river view, but it was like we were forgotten about. My husband asked twice for a beer and gave up. He went inside and got one at the bar. The waitress finally brought a beer, but it was for me and not him. I'm not r era read more

Restaurant is connected to trashy hotel, although the restaurant was fairly clean and had nice views that is right on the water. The servers and bartender was nice but the overall service was shitty, i say this because it took us two hours to get our food. considering we all ordered burgers and wings, no way it should've taken 2 hours. read more

Ive been here several times, and have been disappointed every time. The service is consistently terrible, and I sit at the bar, but the bartender has to be flagged down and yelled at to get any kind of service. If you don't flag them you will not get waited on. I am extremely patient but sitting for over an hour with an empty glass in front of me is ridiculous. Food takes 30-45 minutes to appear from time of order, and if you get something fried expect it be cold and overcooked. It's sad that the view is so beautiful, and the restaurant has so much potential, but it's just wasted. Absolutely would not recommend. read more

Just had a late lunch on a Tuesday so restaurant was quiet but service was excellent. I had the Cuban and it was very good. Husband had a steak melt on Cuban bread and loved it. Read the bad reviews and figured every restaurant can go thru a bad time. Seems like things have turned around. Give them a try. read more

Food was..... not so good. Dry wings plus they were small. Wasn't fond of the nacho mess. Soggy, heavy cheese, not melted cheddar it was saucy and meat was mush. Coulda been done better. Pretty view and plenty of tvs, it could be better: needs smaller menu and to concentrate on perfecting and being really good at just a few things then a million which is not fresh or put together properly read more

Service was a little slow upon arrival. As they got busier it was non existent. Bartender was working tables so service for drinks was slow. Food was mediocre at best. Won't be back till reviews dictate otherwise. Crossing my fingers they can pull it together. Place looks great since the makeover. read more

My husband Junior Roger Daniel and I Patricia and family have enjoyed many meals at Beef 'O' Brady's since new management took over. Great selection of good food to eat. The waitresses are very respectful. The place look clean with no issue with the floors or surrounding area. (GM) She is very patient and understanding with her workers to ensure they give the customers the best service. It has been a pleasure dining there and will continue to do so. Keep up the good work guys. I love you. read more

Food was murdered so bad if town at the window it would have shattered took 45 minutes to get 2 items off the menu

When me and my husband went here they were pretty busy so the only complaint I have is how long the food took, everything else was great. Awesome view, friendly service. read more

I was surprised by the lack of Hostess since the booth is placed OUTSIDE the actual restaurant and there was no one there to seat you. We waited and it took about 15 mins. Sad that no one was watching the front...however, what do you expect from "out-of-school for the summer" teenagers? The restaurant redeemed itself, however, in just a few seconds after being seated...our server, (Justin C. it said on our receipt), was attentive, prompt, never let our glasses go dry, checked on us repeatedly and earned every penny of his compliment written on the bottom of the check with the $10 tip. Although our bill was only about $38.00, I hope to teach waiters and waitresses across this nation that good service = good tip...excellent service gets you a huge tip! My husband enjoyed his Buffalo chicken sandwich, the fries were perfectly done; AND his Jalapeño corn fritters...(Which I hafta agree were nuclear but fabulous...even tho the Poblano dipping sauce seemed to cool things down at first and then sent you grabbing for your drink in a few minutes! Lol) My steak tacos were dynamite...the lack of tomatoes in the tacos was noticeable. Also, when I make buffalo chicken sandwiches at home, I always put melted cheddar on top and at least a thin slice of tomato on them...it not only makes it taste perfect, but helps control the heat. I would suggest that they add this to both. We also tried the "funnel sticks". Myself? I think if they were offered with a scoop of vanilla ice cream with the sticks around the outside of the scoop...and sprinkled with CINNAMON and powdered sugar! How can someone leave off the cinnamon? Even elephant ears at the fair are sprinkled with powdered sugar and cinnamon! No chocolate or Caramel dip. Save money and n boost your sales on dessert...people love icecream in the summer when it's hot! All in all, not the best, but definitely not the worst we've had lately. The food and outstanding waiter service brought this review from a 1 star back up to a 4! read more

Have ate at this location twice now while staying at the attached hotel for out of town events. Food was not hot when it came out and took almost an hour to arrive. Drinks are limited and overpriced even with inflation. Plenty of other options around town. Decent view of the river but inside could definitely use some attention. read more

There's virtually nothing good to say about tonight's visit. It took the better part of 15 minutes for our order to be taken. There was nothing on the table, no salt pepper ketchup etc when they brought our salad they did not bring silverware. When they did bring silverware they brought plastic and said that all of their silver was being washed at the time. Our order took so long to come out we were afraid that they had forgotten about us. We got fish and fries. Asked for steak fries and got skinny ones. Ask to please have ketchup salt pepper etc and they never brought it. Ask for to-go boxes that never came and had request them again when they brought our check. And to top it off the fries had been cooked in the same grease as the fish, so everything tasted fishy. read more

My husband and I went there yesterday for lunch after arriving by boat. Beautiful location. I was weary after seeing multiple 1 star reviews. It was great. We were seated immediately. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was good- it was a ton. Our waitress Jenny was so sweet. We will go back again. I don't know know if it was new owners or being renovated but it was amazing. We will be back. read more

I don't know why I keep trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt. Friday4:30 in the afternoon. It took over an hour to get our food after it was ordered. Just about everything was overcooked. Had to remind the waitress of orders, plates didn't come out at the same time. They were cold, Luke warm at best I personally ordered a sandwich that was hunks of meat and vegetables, not shaved or diced... it was so bad I couldn't finish it. The fries, though wrong actually tasted better that the meal, but they were very greasy. Even after multiple times telling the waitress that it was unacceptable..... management never showed their face It was a waste of my $200.00 I also contacted the parent company, to which I received no response.... They care just as much as the management in the restaurant.... No call no show!!! Covid is no excuse for poor service and poor food read more

Came here after a boat day waited 25 minutes to get seated, had the waitress tell us it was going to be another 30 minutes before we could even order anything to eat. First of all, our waitress was great. Other than that the meal was absolutely terrible. I ordered the seafood combo which was suppose to be two pieces of fish and some shrimp. It was one piece of fish that was cooked too long in too low of a temperature of oil. Breading was soaked with grease and barely golden, fish inside was mush. The shrimp were 5 prebreaded and frozen shrimp that were burnt and hard on the outside. The fries obviously were undercooked and left under a heat lamp for at least an hour before I got them. It was 12.99 for my plate and it was worse than Any 5 dollar special at long john silvers has ever been. It's no wonder the only people eating there were hotel guests and Not locals. Save your money and time. Go elsewhere. read more

This restaurant is part of a local motel, which usually chases me away. I am extremely leery of hotel dining rooms, except for breakfast. However, this is not a hotel dinning room, but a restaurant attached to a hotel. In this case it makes a difference, and we were referred by others. We were in the mood for juicy hamburgers and we were told that Beef O'Brady's were very good, so we tried them. We were also told that their steaks were good, but we haven't tried them, yet. They have several specialty burgers in addition to the usual burger fare. But even the simple burgers are worth going for. I don't remember the name of the burger I had, but it was so tall, I had to eat it with a knife and fork. It had a big, thick burger cooked to order, strips of bacon, provolone cheese, and I forget what else. I don't know who could have gotten their mouth around that thing. It was delicious! My wife had the 5-cheese burger. It had American, provolone, cheddar, mozzarella, and another cheese. She could only eat 1/2 of it, so we took it home and I ate the next day. It was as good as the one I had, even having been in the fridge all night and warmed up in the microwave. The only reason I don't give it a "5" is because the waitress seemed to forget about us after we got our food. It took too long to get drink refills and the check. read more

First time and last very bad service it takes our order an hour to be served. The funny thing is both me and my husband's order is very simple fish and chips and O Brady burger. Fish was oily and angus fatty comes out from walmart frozen patty for sure no taste whatsover . Don't get me wrong it's not only us who complain why it taking so long when they only have 4 table occupied, one customer just walked out. Bad management, they need a good cook! Shame! read more

We were staying at the Quality inn and within this was the Beef o Brady's. Our Late night Drinks and pub chips were perfectly appropriate for the caliber of the establishment. The waitress Grace was fine (although the shift manager/manager delivered the food) but that was a plus because it was hot and very tasty. The chips had plenty of cheese and bacon and came with sour cream and ranch. The drinks (one pina colada and one top shelf Long Island iced tea) were less stiff than desired but probably were perfectly measured and the price was right at $5 and $9. We asked for the check when finished and left quite pleased, humming along with the Live music. read more

If you're staying at the Quality inn, this place may seem like the most obvious and simple choice to go eat after unloading in the hotel room. But then you remember it's a Beef o Brady's and really has Beef o Brady's ever been anyone's favorite restaurant? I never heard anyone say that but it's ok because all the servers and staff here are super nice. They get your orders in quick and hey they might forget your chocolate molten cake but they'll still get it out to you and for free with no hesitation. The food really is average but if you're hungry then you're grateful. They also have some vegetarian friendly options such as a veg bowl, fried buffalo cauliflower, and cheesy mozzarella sticks that are the best option. read more

The service is horrible and we will never be back the waitresses are horrible there attitudes suck we have been here 1hour and a half

Excellent service and a beautiful location right on the river. Great food variety with options for everyone.

Used to eat here every week. Last time food was not cooked and cold and service very poor. Total turnover in staff. Today we decided to try again. No french fries, no broccoli, and lots of other things. All points to POOR MANAGEMENT LAST TIME FOR SURE! read more

Dingey place , absolutely no staff 1 waiter whos also bar tender running whole place , bow legged old lady walking in circles not taking any orders or helping the one server , food was cold and not tasty , very mediocore , had potential being such a nice spot on river but views are deceiving , does not compare to even the worst of beef o bradys i have had! read more

this used to to be a good place to grab a burger and beer. nothing fancy but good value, cold beer and nice view of the river. So much has changed since I was here a year ago. Service was poor, the over-worked waitress reeked of cigarettes and complained about the kitchen staff. The Cuban Sandwich was bland, I've had better sandwiches at Subway. The appetizers were late (came out with entrees) and over-cooked. Do yourself a favor and pass on this place. read more

They have some pretty good drink specials here all the time for beer. Domestics (I think) was buy 1 get 1 free all the time. Can't beat that. As for the food it's just average. Nothing to get excited about or even drive out of your way to try. If in the area it's not a terrible spot to visit. Service was pretty good; 2 servers with a party of 15+ people. Pretty impressed with their ability to juggle us. Plus they gave me a free beer for whatever reason. read more

The staff is rude food is horrible I won't go there again I had to ask for a refill from he bartender the waitress came to once.

I cannot believe how truly horrible this place was. Really exceptionally poor service. We had a party of 7, it was Monday night, restaurant was not busy, but staff completely ignored us. We waited for 20 minutes and literally could not even get the staff to give us menus, let alone acknowledge us. Complete waste of time, and we had to take our business elsewhere. Never coming here again. Good luck staying in business read more

Came here with friends Super Bowl Sunday while the the Bassmaster tournament was here in Palatka. Had lunch and it was the worst!! They were out of bottled beer except for Bud and Michelob. Order Shocktop draft, was watered down. Ordered apps...spinach dip extremely bland, chips so greasy they dripped oil. Wings were cold and sauce was runny and bland. Mozzarella sticks tasted old. Service was fine but they were overworked. Management needs to do better with their food, staffing and especially stocking beer supply! How do you have no beer in stock on Super Bowl Sunday??!! Probably will not come back which is a shame since we live close by. I'm from Orlando and the Beefs there were always solid and reliable...not Palatka!! Yuck read more

A totally unexpected pleasure in a town that is not exactly cosmopolitan. Fantastic specials, unreal deals on beer, and the totally accommodating bartender, Meg, went out of her way to provide us with our own television basically. This place use to be good family place that was enjoyable. Since new management has taking it over this place has really went down hill. The food quality has significantly went down the service has always been terrible but it was it was tolerable bc the food was decent. I would not recommend this place to anyone, with the options you have to get wings and a drink I wouldn't recommend any BEEFS. read more

This restaurant is located inside the Quality Inn riverfront hotel, where we stayed this past weekend. We sat outside both nights, and had drinks which were reasonably priced if not terribly strong.
