Deceptively roomy inside given the view from the street. Fantastic service, could have sat there all day. An absolute must for anyone visiting the area looking for a cozy, upscale retreat. I did a quick search and this place popped up so we decided to check it out. I am so glad we did! We had our two dogs with us, so we sat outside. David was extremely friendly and knew his beers! We sat outside and had a few different beers each and chatted with him and his wife Cathy for a few hours. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you are in town! The last time I stopped in the bartender offered my dog some water & a bone while I sat on the outside deck to enjoy the spring afternoon. There were parachuted to watch drop from the sky, so we were in no hurry. The owner has always been smiling & willing to help out a weary traveler. I Rarely pass thru Palatka without stopping in for at least one drink. If you don't do anything but pop in to see the hand painted walls... and these aren't murals folks, they're meticulously hand painted bamboo walls... really cool. Stop in to see those and make sure you visit the restrooms... have a beer while you're there. And if you're travelling with Fido, bring him in too (around back, of course).

A great dog friendly stop for lunch. Outside they have shaded seating and dog bowls for your dogs. The bartender Carley was amazingly friendly and helpful! There are fun games outside and the inside is spacious and has very cool AC! So important for Florida summers. Stop by and check them out! We are really glad we did! The 386 is a great west coast style IPA and the Coconut Stout was delicious! 8.8% ABV and you can't even taste the alcohol with great coconut flavor!

Service however.... Was questionable. When we got there it didn't seem busy and everyone seemed laid back but I guess according to our waitress it was busier than usual on a TUESDAY. I am not sure if she was new or she only works Tuesdays because originally it's slow by what she made it seem but... I hope that the next busy Tuesday she is more locked in and keeps up with everything. Overall despite the service, the restaurant was well maintained, great decor, and food was great. My first picture has the other owner, Eric (Shasta's husband), behind the bar serving us. Knowledgeable in the making of mead, craft beer, etc...you can have the best conversations with this man! You will learn so much about all the things you like to drink and how they're made, different ways to brew, different flavorings, yeasts, temperatures, ingredients...just a wealth of knowledge! And finally, but not least, their karaoke night is insanely fun! All kinds of music is played, sung to (some, you wonder if indeed that IS called singing! I…read moregot a call telling me to come in last minute for a second interview with the boss. i arrive to my interview and they tell me someone else is interviewing at the time, i was very understanding and this woman employee even acknowledged my understanding. they told me to come in again and wrote down my name and a rescheduled interview for tomorrow. I arrive for my rescheduled second interview and the same woman right away greeted me saying my name, i tell her im here for my interview that we rescheduled and she told me she never did that and gave me attitude saying she never did that as she pointed to herself and took a dramatic step back instead of calmly saying there's been a mistake (again) and reschedule me (again), i say okay and walk away. i tell myself "that's crazy" as i walked out the door and this woman ran out there telling me to never speak to her like that in her store little girl. i live 30 minutes away and spent all of my gas money coming here two days in a row. These people are very unstable and have no idea how to work around people. This women had brown eyes and long brown hair and seemed to be in her twenties. Just a head-ups for anyone looking to work here.

We got hungry after running errands so went out for dinner this Thursday around 6pm, parked on the street (free parking), and seated immediately by a friendly hostess. We chose to eat indoors since it was hot out (90's) so we sat at table 1 for the high top seats to accommodate my husband's height. There were around 5 other tables occupied and the rest of the dining area was empty. Our server was Boo and she had a delightfully bubbly personality, letting us know the specials and local origins of the food. We ordered Coke no ice, ginger ale no ice, cajun fries no bacon, well-done Swamp Burger, buffalo chicken bites, and a mahi mahi fish basket. My husband decided to use their restroom, which interestingly enough, are located outside around the corner of the building. I'm guessing this was done so the chefs in the cooking area (in the food truck) could use them easily. Our drinks arrived in minutes and appetizer (cajun fries) arrived around 10 minutes later. The rest of the food was brought out about 10 more minutes after that. The entire order was correct and made very well. Cajun fries were crispy with gooey cheese sauce and cajun spices. Fish basket was tasty and not fishy at all (yay!). My husband said his burger was good and not oily. All in all, cost was about $95 with a generous tip. We would come back for another date here, hopefully with Boo as our server again :)
