I have a severe food allergy and sometimes don't get taken seriously when I ask at restaurants. Taylor went above and beyond when she checked with the cook. They were very clear about what would be safe for me. The food was delicious and came out pretty fast. Extremely noisy, long wait for food and not liking the noise level. I would have rather been given a pager to pick up a to go order. However , our to go order would have entered the same end eventually at the waste management site. We stopped in Beef O' Brady's for an early dinner on a Friday. The parking lot was jam-packed at 3:45 pm, but upon entering 90% of the patrons were in the bar area. Great!!! Plenty of "seat yourself" booths and tables. Anywhere you sit, you will be able to view at least 9 TVs with sports games going on. We loved the fact that we could watch The Masters, and it's a good thing too, because we waited, and waited, and waited and. Waited. Waited to order drinks, waited to order food ( wings and tenders) and waited forever for our food to arrive, only to receive cold fries. All the staff we encountered were sullen, non- smiling, and acted as if they were walking the Green Mile instead of serving customers. One positive note..... the tenders were outstanding!! They were big and meaty and crispy, and hot.... Unlike the fries. Unfortunately that wasn't enough to save our experience. First time dining here. I wasn't impressed. Service was mediocre. The waitress Caroline seemed to be afraid to make eye contact to acknowledge we needed her attention. Seemed she didn't really want to do her job. It wasn't busy at all so not sure why she couldn't check with us to see if we needed anything. The table was sticky and we watched another customer come in, sit down and take a napkin and try to clean his table. The person I was with who paid the bill gave her a much bigger tip than she deserved. My burger was bland. They gave a lot of fries. The food was hot. I have no plans to return. read more

I'm giving it 3 stars only because my food was good. My service was not. I had a server named Caroline. The whole time she made us feel like we were wasting her time. With the faces she made,rolling eyes, never asked if everything was ok, no refills, nothing. Once we got our food that was last time she acknowledged us. I had to tell her I needed to check out. I still left a $10 tip but she should have only got $4 tops. I never get to get out and I finally do and that was my experience. So that sucked. However my compliments to the chef. In town on business. First they have this cool bottom filling beer glass thing, it does a perfect poor each time. So if your new to the bottom filling glass, there is a thin round magnet in the bottom of the cup, don't push it up or gravity will consume your beer. Your disc has letters on it, you keep them to spell word and get food. Service is fast and friendly, it's a very friendly sports bar with a huge menu. I got the traditional wing combo, and some fried pickles as an appetizer. Order of fried pickles was delicious and generous. I like the coleslaw and fries that came with the wings. I liked the wings, no breading, and that is my only complain since wings with a little crunchy breading is what I prefer. Sweet tai chille and honey bbq sauce are a perfect mix. read more

Always greeted by a smiling face from the hostess to the waitress. Management must be good here because it shows in the employees. The menu has a wide variety of choices. It's great if you're like me and want to decide what to eat after I've viewed my options. Burgers, fish, salads... it's all fresh and delicious. Many large televisions if your looking for sports. But the noise is not overwhelming. It's our favorite place to go in Owensboro for a nice cocktail and fresh food. read more

Prices have went way up and portions smaller. I like to drink lit's that are now $8.50 which use to be $2.50, had 5 and left as sober as i arrived. They have an inside basketball hoop that makes enough racket you can't have a conversation! Won't be back! read more

I was in town for business and a friend recommended Beef 'O' Brady's. Although I am vegetarian and the name of the restaurant contradicts this, I was told they had veggie dishes. I went in and sat in the bar area and had a delightful server. He recommended the lettuce wraps. I expected a very healthy wrap with veggies and a light sauce possible, but what was served was a little unhealthy. Now, I am certainly not complaining as it was delicious and well worth the extra calories I ingested. I would certainly have these again. If you like a pub feel, which I do on a rare occasion, then BOB's is for you. There are a lot of beer selections and TV's as well. read more

We attempted to have lunch there today. We were immediately greeted and given our drinks. The waitress took our food order....Steak nachos, and 6 boneless wings with onion rings. 45 minutes later, we are still sitting there waiting for our food. No one stopped by to say anything, ie: Your food will be done in a few minutes, do you want refills on your drinks. Sorry it's taking so long, etc. They just kept walking passed, never looking our way. They table next to us got their food about 15 minutes after we ordered ours, and they were finished and sitting around talking, while we continued to sit there. The spicy dipping sauce goes on everything and I love their curly fries. The servers always go the extra mile to make sure you get exactly what you want. The Owensboro Beefs is locally owned and goes to great lengths to support their community and all the local schools. If you want to catch a UK game on one of their (many) giant TVs, be prepared to arrive about an hour early to nab your spot. Yesterday was my first visit here and I was thoroughly impressed....mostly with the service. They cater to families and made it such a pleasurable experience. Our waiter Caleb, was the BEST WAITER I've ever had. He was so patient in taking orders from a large table of mostly kids and treated them kindly and with respect. Went to eat at beef o Brady's and it was great ordered the grilled shrimp and Broccoli. Except for one small thing. The rice has alot of greese and I forced myself to eat it.
