Little sports bar on steroids. Tons of sports posters, pics, and memorabilia on the walls. Plenty of seating and they even have some back patio seating. Lots of flat screens to watch sports on. Of course, they had some NASCAR race on the tv's while I was here. Packed with locals and a decent menu of pub food. Had the burger and it was pretty tasty. Bunch of lunch specials and meal deals thoughout the week. Meh beers on tap. Wish they had more of a craft beer selection. Pretty much a lame choice of Bud Light, Coors Lite, Miller Lite, Sam Adams, Michelob Ultra, on tap and in bottles, etc. Dropped in here while visiting family in the area a few months ago. Was pretty crowded at around 5pm with mainly a locals vibe. Too many kids in here too, and a lot of seniors. Damn, they eat early here! This Beefs used to be decent, but it has gone way downhill! We waited 25 minutes for chips and queso to come out as people were getting their entrees that were ordered after us. Then our boneless wings came out 35 minutes after they were ordered. Who knew beefs sold "Southern Sushi"?? Unbelievably undercooked, looked like a flash fry. We had eaten a couple before we noticed! The guy next to us had an undercooked sandwich as well so we were already weary... We showed the bartender and she removed it from our bill but that was it, no explanation or apology. I asked the bartender if I could talk to a manager so that I could make sure the kitchen is taking temps and safely serving food, then she told me she was the manager... Came here to watch a football game. The server took our drink order right. We ordered our food and it was served within 10 min. I orders the chicken/shrimp fajitas.The food is great and the staff is very friendly. The atmosphere is what you expect from a sports bar. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

If you have a 2 for $22 flyer, DONT GO! THEY Won't honor it. So instead we got boneless wings and the prime rib sandwich. The fries and wings were clearly cooked at some other time and kept under a heat lamp. Awful, to be kind. The onion rings were the only palatable thing we got. In the prime rib sandwich, I nearly choked on a wad of tough, pithy meat. This visit was the third strike. This is a franchise that's so in love with corner-cutting and cheap mass-produced ingredients while not having the traffic to justify those terrible measures. From the average census I've seen on my three visits, there's no reason why everything shouldn't be made to order. The coating on the wings was like eating a turtle shell and the "prime rib" sandwich was tepid, not hot. The cheese didn't even completely melt. On my 2019 visit, half the meat on my fajita platter was tough and inedible. When pointed out to the manager, he said "I'll let the cook know" but made no attempt to replace my dish or deduct compensation. NEVER going back! I also don't believe all the reviews here on Yelp are authentic. read more

Grand Reopening?? It isn't that "grand"! I stopped in for lunch on July 17, 2019. I received a friendly greeting and sat at the bar. It was a typical hot and humid Florida day so I ordered a beer from the tap. The cold frosty beer I was expecting was almost room temperature! After one sip I let the bartender know. She responded with "Yeah our coolers were down and they're just starting to cool now"! She didn't offer another choice or take it off the tab and was charged $4.25 for a warm beer that I didn't drink. The Prime Rib Sandwich I ordered didn't make the experience any better. The little bit of meat that was in the sandwich was bland and I only ate half of it. On the bright side the root beer was cold and flavorful but not worth $21.49!! read more

I went to watch a game and tried the fajitas. The TV's are so low-res I could hardly see the ball and the TV's at the table are too tiny and close to really enjoy. The fajitas came out and everything was good and fresh but the meat...the meat was a disaster. I couldn't eat half of it because it had a ligament running right through it. I told my server and he said he'd let the kitchen know but that was the end of it. Imaging being served half a steak for a whole steak price! The server was great, the brews were cold, the fixings were cool and fresh but the meat thing ruined it all for me. I cannot recommend this place right now. I have been here several times and the food was just ok, not bad but not great, just good enough to come back. I mean this place would do in a pinch if you were hungry and didn't want to cook. Today was the worst food I have eaten in a long time and that includes gas station food you find on a lonely road. I ordered fish and chips and the fish was fresh in 1989. It tasted of freezer burn that was thawed and then refreezed twice. The fries were limp and rubbery mixed with freezer burn. I was so disappointed with the surf and turf. A steak the size of 3 in by 3 in. And 8 tiny grilled burnt shrimp the size of nickels. No exaggerating. It was the second time out dinning since covid started. I took a chance. It was ehh before the pandemic and now never again. I went to a local place here in crystal river two weeks ago for the same plate a dollar more but my god CODYs steakhouse blows the doors off this place. I am sorry to write this. I really am. I am only writing because I can't believe they actually had the nerve to serve this. I am not one to cause a scene since I am a big man and I go from 0 to 120 when provoked. And I was with my wife. So I paid the bill and left with a small tip for waitress it wasn't her fault. I hope. I don't mind spending money on a good dinner I rather spend and get a decent meal then save a dollar and get what I was served. I deffinetly calmed down threw the yrs because me normally I would have gotten up and walked out. Also my wife got a reuben on chiabata I opened it to see it was two deli slices thin of corned beef and cheese. Sad. Very sad. If you are trying to stay in business you don't do it by screwing the customers. You do it by getting loans and improving the served meals so people can't wait to return. My mom got the Margarita sangria and she absolutely loved it! Poor service - Waitress was not aware of a problem. My chicken fingers were over cooked and was dried up. Wife and I had dinner at Beef OBrady last night. They were very busy when we arrived, but seated us quickly and took our drink order and provided menus. We decided to order from the 2 foe $20 offering. Had the hot pretzels and queso as our appetiser. 4 large soft pretzels and an ample serving of the queso. Very good. As entres I had the blackened chicken breasts with rice and broccoli. 2 good sized breasts cooked just right. My wife had the grilled shrimp with the same sides, 16 large shrimps well prepared.. Meal beat our expectations. Our server did a great job, attentive but didn't hover. Spoke with the manager after our meal. Told her how pleased we were with the whole experience. I had the Angus sliders on pretzel rolls, they were not on pretzel rolls but too heavy dense egg rolls. the French fries were greasy and cold. our server brought it to the attention of the manager and a 15% adjustment was made.
