Last Sunday after Church we stopped in at Beef's in Chiefland! I ordered the larger sirloin steak with grilled shrimp and a Cesar side salad. Dawn had a Turkey Club with fries. The service was prompt, the waitress was good and kept our glasses full. I always love the ambience at beef O'Brady's because they have the big screens plenty of football, softball, baseball and NASCAR. The prices are comparable for the area and the food is always good to above average. The salsa is sometimes a little thin, but it has a good flavor overall, Beef's is worthy. read more

It's only Thursday, eaten here twice this week. Ordered pot stickers, ice cold inside, for $2.00 per piece, that ain't right! Got my $4.99 house salad, the lettuce was rotten, I had to dissect the good from the bad to another plate. My wife got 12 shrimp, blackened with double order of steamed broccoli, the broccoli was mush! So over cooked, you couldn't pick it up with a fork. The shrimp was raw, barely cooked at all! We came here for the first time and it wasn't very busy. I had to ask the server to get drinks. I had to ask for a server to take my appetizer order. I had to ask a server to take my food order. 40 minutes later I had to ask where my appetizer was. Never got a refill in that time. 20 wings and curly fries with 3 waters is all we ordered. It took almost an hour to produce 20 wings and 45 minutes for an appetizer. Some items on the appetizer were cold when it finally came out. We were starving & there weren't that many options in the area so we went with Beef O Brady's. I am glad we did. I was feeling virtuous so I got grilled shrimp with rice & broccoli. It was pretty good. Hubster got the burger and it was also pretty good. They don't have an option to order online so we had to call and speak to a human (yuck!) but it was ok lol. Absolutely the worst meal. Had boom boom shrimp tacos with chips. Shrimp were barely warm and no taste. Husband had a hamburger steak with mashed potatoes & steamed broccoli, didn't have the broccoli so they gave him zucchini without asking. The food is always hot and tasty, very consistent. Great selection of craft beers and drinks. Wings are always good here and the fish and chips are always good. Traveling back from Tallahassee and chasing the sun on US 98 I was starting to get hungry. US 98 does NOT offer many food options (but you do get a fast scenic drive to Tallahassee) and it was beginning to get late. I desperately typed, "restaurants" on yelp and searched frantically. Everything was closing in 30 min. (8pm). I was happy to see Beef 'O' Brady's was open until 10pm. My fiancee and I walked in to a basically empty restaurant (3 tables). I was happy to see that they had a great selection of beers clearly listed on the wall and sports televisions everywhere. After a long stressful day, I could use a drink. My fiancee ordered the tall Coors Light Special and I ordered my trustee Guinness. Having been a bartender/server for over 20 years, I immediately recognized that neither beer was poured in a proper glass. Like I said, it was a long day, so we drank up. I was later upset when we got the bill and saw my 10 oz. Guinness was $3.99. I have never gotten a Guinness in my life in a 10 oz. frosted mug. Clearly they don't know what they are doing. On to the food. We decided to split everything. We ordered 10 "Nashville Hot" wings with bleu cheese and celery. The waitress said these were her favorites and I would have to agree. The Nashville Hot wing has a flavorful hot dry rub. The wings were meaty and cooked to perfection. For our main course we split the Amarillo Burger (Angus topped with smoked bacon, fried jalapenos, pepper jack cheese and sweet jalapeno aioli). Honestly the burger was delicious. What was upsetting, was that the fries were cold and the food didn't fill the plate. I truly believe that the burger was ready at the same time as the wings. Instead of bringing it out, our food was left in the kitchen and the staff picked at our fries. A little oversight and little more effort could really take this place to the next level. Until then, Beef 'O' Brady's is a solid 3 when desperate on US 98 for food. read more

What a great day! We surveyed the restaurants between Panama City and Tampa as we were traveling home from vacation. We are sport fanatics and I wanted to see the Steelers and my husband the Bucs. I called the night before and was told that yes, they would reserve a 5 person table for us. Shandi our waitress was awesome. The owner (I think) made sure the games we wanted to see were in front of us. We ordered a variety of appetizers, onion rings, pickles and buffalo chicken dip. It's a good thing the games are long because we needed a few minutes to order the rest of our meal. Everything was clean including the restrooms! The atmosphere was very pleasant. When we ordered our drinks and Shandi asked if there was anything else at that time, my husband asked for two "W's" (wins). She even delivered on that! Took the kids out to eat, my mistake for going to an Irish themed place on St Patrick's Day. Waited over 25 minutes for a drink order, for 4 of us we were given 1 menu. I received a wrap instead of the sandwich I ordered. When given my food my drink spilled all over my lap, I was then asked if I wanted napkins as if I wanted to stay wet, afterward at no point in time did I receive a refill. When I asked to speak to a manager I was treated as if I was an inconvenience. My family and I will NEVER eat there again. read more

Excellent experience. While passing through Chiefland on a camping Trip, we stopped for lunch at Beef O'Brady's. We've been passing by for years and have never been in a position to stop. We had an outstanding lunch with great food and friendly attentive service. The restaurant was very roomy and clean. Nice big screen HIgh Def TV's everywhere. The parking lot is very spacious as well, with ample room for parking. However I was pulling a 45' fifth wheel, but there was available parking right across the street. We will be stopping again. By the way. I had a Reuben, which was awesome. My son had boom boom boneless, which were fresh large chucks of chicken breast. Not your typical frozen chicken nugget. They were great. My daughter in law has a buffalo chicken sandwich that was just as succulent as the boneless chucks. The wife Had chicken tacos which were overflowing with chicken. Stop by this beef's. Not at a good experience at all. When we 1st arrive waitress was to busy talking with her mom at table next to us. Time for a refill. 2 people at our table asked for water waitress only brought one out forgot about other person.. Then asked for refill on tea didn't put any ice it in forgot to bring tea for 10 minutes. Brought out a salad that nobody ordered. Brought out a plate for one person missing the meat 15 minutes later brought out everybody order. Orders mixed up forgot an order all together. After waiting 15-minute asked for manager because my child still didn't have her food finally when her food arrives still doesn't have her French Fries. Waitress didn't even want to fix the ticket because a manager would have to do that. Oh-well not my fault you and the kitchen staff can't get it right. I'm not paying for the mess up. I am a BIG fan of the Beef's on Archer Road, in Gainesville, so was excited to see one coming to little 'ol Chiefland. My excitement was misguided.... I'll spare you the gory details of every visit. I have been here several times, because I *really* want to like this place. I have never had the same thing twice, so be sure I experienced a variety in the menu. Overall, the portions are rediculously small, and not at all presented well. For example, one day I got just a simple grilled cheese and soup for lunch. The Grilled cheese sandwhich was burned, and the square of cheese inside the bread was the size of a Triscuit cracker. The Waterson sandwich is my all-time FAVORITE Beef O'Brady's sandwich. The Chiefland location ruined that for me. It is a few scraps of meat, between two slices of bread. Not at all appetizing. The wings are ok. Not drop dead good, but ok. The bugers are made one way...WELL DONE. And I do mean well done. The little slider type burgers, cooked this way, are like hockey pucks. I have also run across the server/service issues already mentioned here, so I won't bore you with repetition. The bottom line is...this restaurant does not live up to the franchise reputation. The food is not presented well, nor do you get the "bang for the buck". Sadly, as another reviewer said, the choices sure are limited. If you don't mind a 15 minute ride, I do recommend both "Hobo's" or "The Cracker Box" in Trenton. Better food, and LOTS of it. read more

Hey, it's Chiefland ... and it's "Beef O' Brady's". We went on a Sunday ... and it was busy ... but have no complaints about the service. Food was OK ... If you don't walk in expecting fine dining ... you'll be satisfied. I imagine the meals here are pre-packaged and frozen like most similiar chains. Really not bad considering the other choices in the area. I plan on going back to watch football and get the wings again and a few beers. read more

Well I'm having your update my last review and unfortunately it's not for the better before of the problem was rude staff they replaced the rude staff but they still haven't improved now they no longer carry the mango habanero which was my favorite flavor and there cooks pre fry the wings so nothing is fresh and they've quit caring pizza which is a shame it used to be a great place for a little league and Boy Scouts and stuff like that to come have pizza and hang out I gave it two stars and that's only because this is one of the few restaurants or places to get nice food and the food is still pretty good in the area but one of the other promises they short change your drinks you order a pint of Guinness you don't get it I ordered a Pint of Guinness drank it and thought it was small so I ordered a 12 ounce bottle beer poured it into the glass and still had beer left in the bottle not even close to being a full pint not a way to run a business when you're hurting for customers shortchange them take away the good items and limiting others the cheap way is the way to close read more
