I originally visited the Scallop Republic during the Singer Songwriter festival, Blast On The Bay. The first time I visited the venue I knew that it was a place where I could have fun and be relaxed, while enjoying the local atmosphere and vibe. I am excited about the wonderful transition that has happened. This intimate music venue has fantastic bands. In addition, they have many large screens that you can watch your favourite team play. Last night was the Lilies For The Fillies, Pink party. Although I didn't eat, there was an amazing spread of food. I cannot wait to see what transpires from this point on. In addition to being an intimate music venue, it also has so many other additional spaces. The inside is intimate, but this venue also has large outside areas with fabulous views, as well as the covered underneath section, which offers a reprieve from the sun. They also have lots of popular outdoor games. Tonight was an incredible event, and also a fundraiser for breast cancer. Big shout out for tonight's musicians, Bo Spring Band, amazing!
