We ventured over this morning right at 11:00 and sat ourselves at a high top near the bar. Our server Morgan came by promptly. Their version of shrimp and grits is unlike any you have had before. Very rich and mildly spicy cream/cheese sauce with shrimp, grits, spinach, mushrooms, and okra. The sauce was made with smoked gouda. Huge portion but he ate it all. I got a grilled grouper sandwich. Absolutely delicious. Morgan was delightful and talked with us about her career plans. She was covering the entire indoor area during our visit so she was really running. We can hear the music from our campsite, but they pull the plug at 9:00 pm so it's not too noisy late. The waitstaff was friendly as were the regulars around us. The tasty cheese curds were a good starter and since the table next to us recommended the wings, I was all in. The habanero sauce was not really hot, but it was fine enough for a late night meal. Wifey took on the burger and gave a thumbs up for the choice. Throw in salads for sides and overall was a nice surprise for a dive bar. Parking lot outside is a bit small, but we managed to find a spot near the front. Next time we are in town, we will be coming back when looking for another late night snack or just a place to chat with the locals.

12/30/25, two seats at the bar…read more Lesley & I had a great dinner at Beach Camp, so many reasons to give this place 5 . Walked in, the place was packed and on a wait. The host was friendly and eager to get us a table, but nothing available- 15 min wait. Two seats open at the bar so we moved quick! Makala was our bartender. She was fantastic; friendly and super knowledgeable. We shared a smash burger, relax haters we had a late lunch and wanted room for dessert. Smash burger with fries was fantastic. Seasoned perfectly and the sliced pickles were great. Turtle Cheesecake was , so good! Atmosphere was 10! Staff was 10! Food was 10! We visit this area 3-4 times a year, see you again in March!
