We…read morerented one of their largest units to carefully pack our things and move them out of our house as we prepared for the biggest move out of our home of 20 years. Not only in a few short periods they raise our rent, but they allowed all of our things to be stolen and the unit ransacked. don't be fooled by their false advertisements--. they advertise that it is a gated community with one entrance and one exit, yet the entire north side of the facility is open to words that we have now found out is inhabited by homeless and the police do not patrol it. They have had record numbers of break-ins according to law-enforcement in the area. They advertise that they have security cameras, but we have found that that footage is never available. In fact, when we posted our story on the beach community page , multiple people commented in the thread below that they had lost things at the storage facility as well in break-ins and theft. Multiple people commented that the security footage was never available and that seemed fishy to them. people commented that it had been 15 years and they never got the security footage and the conditions have never improved. so just be advised to understand your renters are homeowners insurance policy and the deductible, cause you will probably need to use it when your stuff is completely stolen out of your unit and you find out that this facility has been irresponsible on providing that "secure care" for well over a decade. We visited our unit yesterday to find every single item in our unit ransacked. Things that took our busy family of a special needs child months to carefully pack completely destroyed. we rented a Penske truck and will be arriving at the unit this morning to sort through the debris that was our lives. To make a list of things that were stolen for the police and to try to repack our things into boxes so we can even assess what's broken or missing . shame on this facility for not building a secure property fence on what they know to be a problematic area. Shame on this property for not hiring private security or even making sure that their cameras work. What an absolute waste. Some on the community page have speculated it's just an inside job and that's why things have stayed the same. either way, I can't recommend this facility to my worst enemy.

They left two college girls without movers and without a storage unit and were less than helpful with advice. Other than offering for them to move out a day later, but the girls lease was already up, and they had already turned all their stuff in. You can't just stay an extra day in an apartment for free, and it's Memorial Day weekend and it's not like they could go extend their lease. Didnt even offer to help in trying to find other movers or another storage unit. We are not from the area and this was just a really disappointing experience. we offered to help them load the truck ourselves and begged them to still move them because the lease was up and the girls HAD to move out. I am speechless at the lack of professionalism, and instead of offering guidance or another moving company number, they got upset and raised their voice at us instead like we were at fault. I understand things come up, but you could at least be a decent business person and try to offer solutions, especially for people who are out of town.
