We placed a large order wholesale in order to have a fall plant sale. The delivery did not arrive,…read moreand when we called to inquire, the owner was extremely rude and talked in circles. He would say that he had never heard of us, but then say that he had our order in the truck, but was going to be late. How did he know what our order was and where he was driving if he never heard of us? We ended up canceling as the flower arrival was going to be after the scheduled time of the sale. Mistakes and miscommunication happen but the way you handle them is what makes the difference. We do not recommend.

"In our family portrait we look pretty happy We look pretty…read morenormal, let's go back to that" (Pink) We visited their new location in Bloomfield today after Baggott was forced to relocate from their old location in East Windsor. They still have some sprucing up to do, and add some signage, but we found them easily and grabbed one of the many parking spots available. There are hanging baskets, flats of annuals and perennials, and greenhouses displaying all of their inventory. The thing I noticed was how reasonably priced everything was. We picked up twelve four-pack marigold flats to spruce up our deck railing flower boxes, mailbox and light pole, a nice mix of golds and yellows. Those 48 flowers cost just $16.95. We saw some other special pricing - 4" Premium Annuals for $2.95, 4-Packs of Premium Annuals for $9.95, Hanging baskets starting at just $9.95, and Vegetable plants for $0.99 or $16.95 for an 18-count flat. After we made our selection, we made our way over to pay and chatted with the friendly lady who completed our sale. Baggott may not have as much stock as some of their competitors, ut they were top notch in pricing, value, and customer service.

I reached out to Ben from Yard Yogi and he was able to meet with us mid-spring to discuss the start of our project in May. Ben had many visions for our back and front yard and while we were hesitant with a few concepts, we trusted his expertise and overall we ended up being impressed! There were some communication issues in the beginning, but ended up resolving with due diligence by calling Yard Yogi for solutions/clarifications. There had also been a few last-minute changes that came up, such as the stones we picked were backordered and we also had to readjust a few design aspects along the way. But the crew at Yard Yogi were very responsive and acted quickly. The overall project took a few days past the proposed timeline, but the overall outcome was worth the wait.

On a random Saturday we decided to take a drive out and explore the place, and hopefully find some gifts for Christmas. Revay's is a combination nursery and gift shop. We didn't fully explore the nursery since we weren't shopping for plants, but it appeared to be well-labeled and orderly, containing a number of options for outdoor planting or indoor plants. The gift shop was large, with a number of crafts and gift options. Since it is holiday time, a good number of the items were holiday-related (such as Christmas decorations and ornaments). There was an area with some train sets that looked neat, and a number of glass/ceramic items if you collect them. The staff was very friendly and polite, and helpful when we had questions regarding pricing. They were also efficient in getting us checked out and moving on to the next customer. Overall it was a pleasant experience, and we will likely be back in the future. (One note - while they do accept credit cards, they do NOT accept American Express).

The job was finished in less than half the time of other estimates and at just over half the cost of other companies.
