Called this tree service to have two large trees trimmed. Their price seemed very high. Asked…read morethem about a small side job thinking they'd probably just include it in the cost. The quote for that little bit of work was exorbitant. The second estimate I got was one-half what Brother's Tree Service quoted. Can't comment on their work, but they're overpriced. As for the company's response, a licensed and insured arborist did the work.

We've called on Brothers' Tree Service twice, both times for tree emergencies. The first time was…read morewhen a red oak fell on our home, directly over our heads, just after midnight on a Saturday night. We called Brothers at 7 a.m. on Sunday morning. They were on site in about an hour, with mega heavy duty equipment and a crew of four. My husband is still working his way through the wood from that tree! Most recently, he made toddler beds for our twin grandchildren. Two days ago, my husband saw that a branch on a dead pine tree had cracked and was in danger of falling onto the road. I called the main number and chose the "tree emergency" option, which patched me right through to Joseph's cell phone. He was on our doorstep in 15 minutes and the guys took that tree down later that same afternoon. True professionals with the right equipment and experience. We feel completely safe in their hands. Ethical, family-owned, community minded (Joseph is a volunteer firefighter), responsive - I mean, what more can I say?

Precise and efficient work from a team that clearly works well together...they did exactly what they said they would. Very tidy clean-up. The price tag ultimately felt like really good value for everything they provide. We had a particularly complicated tree (very tall and right next to power lines and the house), and they were both willing to take on the challenge (unlike some other companies) and handled it perfectly. Their big cranes, which most other local companies don't have, differentiate them as much as the guys who do the truly impressive work. Highly recommended.

It has been easy to get understandable quotes and the quotes were honored. They also noted which trees could wait for removal or didn't need to be removed. They have cleaned up afterwards, and left or taken wood as we asked. In short, it has been a pleasure dealing with them at every turn. It feels like they are an "old-school" company in that they offer excellent service at a fair price, communicate clearly and respectfully, do what they say they will do, and offer helpful advice and information in the process. I cannot imagine using any other service as long as KDF is in business. I enthusiastically recommend them in the strongest possible way.
