Fortunately they had fallen on the ground, causing no property damage. I called Andrew, of Trout Brook Landscaping to take down the damaged branches. Andrew has done tree removal previously on my property and on my parent's, so I knew he would be the perfect man for the job. Andrew is extremely professional, responsive and skilled in his line of work. He immediately came with his equipment, and took down the heavy tree branch, and he cut down the damaged branches off the dogwood tree. He of course cleaned up all of the tree debris. I highly recommend Andrew of Trout Brook Landscaping. If you need tree removal, or are concerned if your tree might be unsafe for your home, or anything else regarding landscaping. Andrew is the answer in the West Hartford area.

Bruce worked with my parents to provide an estimate for work they thought they would need,…read moreincluding trimming a row of at least eight very large pine trees. We had already received two estimates from other tree services, each of the companies were ready to start cutting. Bruce approached the job differently. He took the time to listen to the plan, he sorted out what we were trying to achieve. After he fully understood our approach and goals, he explained what the finished job would look like, and brought to light the negative consequences of our plan. Bruce prioritized their needs above his own, essentially talking us out of doing the work at all. He was punctual and arrived in a very reasonable timeframe. He is responsive, and even followed up to make sure all were in agreement. Bruce exemplified a high level of integrity that is rare. Not only did he save us a few thousand dollars, but spared them from going forward with what would have been a fairly big mistake! While we didn't get to work together, we have not doubt he'd manage his crew and provide a quality service. Bruce will be our first call and our first recommendation for any tree care services in the future. Thank you to Bruce at Graver's Tree Care!

From the moment we first called for an estimate, they were professional, timely, responsive and fair. Their quote was well below another local tree company. Their skill - by a team of at least 6 crew members- was phenomenal! They coordinated their work, took great care with our yard and fence, and took the trees down without any problems. They cleaned up beautifully and even came back another day to clean up some more. Eduardo and Liz, the co-owners, couldn't have been more responsive. They even plan on coming back in a few months to seed a few areas of lawn that were affected by their equipment. I can't recommend Luna enough!! It's refreshing to work with a business that is so fair, professional and honest.

I needed a tree cut down from my front lawn, and got the number from this company from a neighbor…read more I called and asked for a price quote, and someone arrived within 20 minutes to give it to me. The offer was more than fair. Once I confirmed to go ahead with the project, they arrived the same day to do the bulk of the work. The tree was successfully brought down despite there being power lines in the way, with no property damage or any accidents. Some logs were left behind, but they were removed several days later as is often the case with jobs like this. Other than a small divot in the lawn where the tree came down, you'd hardly know the tree had been recently removed. So overall, very happy with the work done. That being said, whenever you hire a contractor to do something like this, always get everything (including the price, timeline, specifics and their signature) written down to cover yourself. I'm not victim-blaming the negative reviews here, but cynicism and paperwork are your friends.
