I had a blue spruce tree seedling that I planted 30 years ago between my house and my neighbor's. Little did I know that it would grow into an imposing monster that would make it difficult for my neighbor and I to get to the side of our houses. Several times I've had to trim branches that were hitting my satellite dish, among other things. So I contacted ArborTech to have the tree taken down. I was a little nervous that when the tree fell it might damage either my or my neighbor's house, or at least, my neighbor's lawn would be damaged by the crew driving over it. I needn't have worried, however, because ArborTech didn't even have to touch our lawns. Using a large boom truck, they lifted the tree straight into the air, and swung it out to the street. It was a great show for my neighbor's little kids, who watched out the window in amazement! Meanwhile, the ArborTech crew was very professional, courteous and friendly, and their price was lower than several other estimates I received. I was completely impressed with the ArborTech crew! They arrived with a fleet of machines and operated them in unison to make quick work of removing a 75' spruce close to my home. Safety was the first step in every move they made throughout the process. When the removal was complete, the cleanup ensued. They blew debris out of the street, raked the lawn and it was hard to tell they were even there. They returned the following day to remove the stump and chase the surface roots in the lawn. Another great job! I met with a few different companies before making the decision to use ArborTech. They were the most professional in regards to the initial meeting and quote process. Arbor Tech came and took down a 75' tree with a V trunk, that was pinned between a two-story Victorian Carriage House and our fence. One of the large branches was hanging over our yard and year after year, it dropped large branches. We just knew it was going to fall anytime! They brought in two very large cranes, and suspended a man with a chansaw to the large tree. He teathered each section of the tree to the crane, and cut it. Then they swung this 8-10 foot section up and over my neighbors three story Victorian home. They also took down a 30' crab apple tree that was dying. That took 17 minutes. We unexpectedly had a neighbor's tree break and land on our house. We called a couple vendors and ArborTech Tree Services was the most responsive, had an estimator out within an hour, had a quote within two hours, and had a team at the house a few hours later. The were professional, explained the process, raised the tree off and over the house, and had the job completed within 1.5 hours upon arrival. You wouldn't even have know they were there had you not witnessed it. They cleaned up everything that came along with the fallen tree and took it all away. I had 9 large pine trees taken down in June 2019. I was very impressed with the process as well as the results. Each guy performed a specific task and they worked like clockwork together. They also spent time on setting up/positioning the machine that lifted the sections of tree to pass off to the chipper to ensure a safe operation. They completed the job in one day, the price was reasonable, and the yard was left neat, and they came to take the remaining large logs away the next morning.
