Went there twice - loved the atmosphere. The Calamansi (type of citrus) juice is a must for me! I…read morehad it 4 times total (I know.. it's a lot). Also an absolute must and my #1 dish recently - the eggplant curry. If you're a protein bro and resistant to get get vege dishes - trust me you still want this one. Just get some extra wings (which are bangers too). I like the idea of the fried fish but as a seafood snob it was average (usually I hate in seafood). The noodles (one with the bean) was excellent. I tried also two desserts with Ube - flan and crème brûlée. Both so good but brûlée was the winner for me. Service is good - just a bit busy so you'll have to make a reservation most likely for a high demand time and expect rushing waiters.

First of all in order to even get a reservation here you need to keep an eye on it online and they…read moreopen reservations approximately 30 days beforehand and that's as far as it goes. So you need to be diligent in the first place to get a reservation and after arriving, I realized why because the place was completely packed even for an early scheduled dinner. It is located in a huge strip mall with a bunch of other restaurants and a lot of shared parking, but it gets full so you have to get lucky to find a spot and luckily parking is free While the website says they welcome walk-ins I can tell you now that on the weekend for dinner dinners good luck This was our first time here and we ordered quite a few items as you can tell from the photos. While the food is good, I will tell you that it is unique while still authentic for example, the crispy Palabok pancit is quite trendy. The lumpia Shanghai was good and you could actually taste the pork. The dessert of the flan combined cake was also good and not overly sweet. The chicken adobo was a bit on the salty side. And frankly, I thought there would be more chicken. The pork barbecue skewers were good, but not sweet and usually Filipino barbecue is supposed to be more on the sweeter side. The Halo halo was unique in the sense that it had some odd fixings on it such as marshmallows and candy that are not part of a special let alone traditional version of this. It also was missing quite a few ingredients that are what I would deem required. For example, no jackfruit and no sweet beans. I have to say, though this place definitely does justice to the Filipino culture and Filipino cuisine overall it is still a great strong restaurant that I would recommend you go to and check out. I have no other comparisons for the area, but this was definitely well worth the visit. The decor is absolutely incredible as well. Truly authentic and pays good homage to the culture and country. Congratulations to these owners and cooks for all that they have accomplished and so happy to be able to patronize Filipino owners. If I'm back in the area, definitely would come back here and try other dishes and I hope that it is all just as delicious as this meal.

Been wanting to try this place for years finally got a chance to go tonight with my son because…read morewe're both foodies, we're both chefs and we wanted to see what they brought to the table. They brought their A game for sure!! what a great experience. This is a casual very open place with a plethora of chefs, each creating a specific dish that they will bring to you and you choose whether you want to eat it or not. The menu is written to where you just check off what you got and you go down the menu and each chef will bring out the dish they created, describe it in detail and then you choose whether you want to eat it or not. Unfortunately, my son and I could not refuse anything, but we did turn down one which I can't remember what it was but this place is fabulous! Yes, these are two bite samples, the taste, and the creativity is exquisite!! These chefs brought things to my pallet that I cannot reverse engineer, and I saved every morsel they brought to the table. Literally ordering nearly everything on the menu, from custom drinks, made tableside to each entrée appetizer or dessert, sample dish, each one presented by the chef who created it this is what foodies live for. If you're going there to get filled up on hamburgers and chicken fingers, please don't go.!!! It's not for you. Especially if you spend four to $500.!! From the hostess Gabby, who was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable to begin the plethora of chefs each behind every dish that they passionately created and tried to sell it to you at the table, so you will check it off on the menu, I love the passion within the chefs minds and the creativity they came up with the dish We were actually too full when we left so those who say they had to go to McDonald's or something after they left because they didn't get enough and they don't understand these savory morsels that are coming out of the tiny kitchen, they only ordered three things because they didn't want to spend the money. This place is for those who enjoy excellent flavors creativity gastronomy, lemon foam to sauces that are unbelievably savory and delectable. I will post all my pictures if I can remember the names of all the dishes, but the menu changes weekly so it's not like you come one week and go back the next week for the same thing. This is an experience, an adventure, a step in time for a culinary experience, unlike others. It's not a fancy place so you can dress casual they don't care, The crafted cocktails were absolutely delicious, I can't tell you how much we enjoyed this experience. Yes it's expensive. But it is definitely worth it. Highly recommend.!!!!

I traveled from Washington DC to try this recommended restaurant and I just say no to this experience. First and foremost the food. Unremarkable and 0 and I say 0 on taste, texture, and general overall flavor. The ingredients are farm to table but honestly I looked at their supply and they're using the lowest grade ingredients. Cheap and inflammatory. Next service. People on here rave about the service but I find it comparable to Applebees. Attentive? Not necessarily. Last concept. I have worked in concept kitchens but this was a mess. I was by the chefs preparation area and just saw the mess of kitchen and the type of communication from the chefs abyssal. Note: Restaurant is a la carte from ranges of food costing 16-45$. EXPECT TO SPEND 200 per person. Don't come if your budget is below 200 per person. Michelin guide please remove from recommendation. Adding photo just to prove that I came.

I love lemon and lemon pepper wings, so that pizza was right up my alley! My boyfriend isn't usually a fan of lemon pepper, but he still enjoyed a slice and said it was good. I also tried a slice of his pizza and the pepperoni was flavorful. It's set up right outside La Bodega and has plenty seating. It was nice and chill. The owner was very personable and I loved hearing how he came up with the different flavors. I will definitely be returning or going to Smorgasburg on a Saturday to try the other pizzas, especially that Oyster Rockefeller!

Out of all the pizzas, my absolute favorites were the Lemon Pepper Wet pizza and the Caesar Salad pizza. Both were super flavorful, creative, and honestly unlike anything I've had before. You can tell a lot of thought and passion goes into every pie. I also loved how interactive and intimate the experience felt. It wasn't just eating pizza, it was truly an experience. They are no longer in a brick-and-mortar location and currently do pop-ups only, so make sure y'all follow them to keep up with where they'll be next because you do NOT want to miss out. Highly recommend!
