My mother found a Talbots and wanted to check it out, so we headed there. While browsing around the same shopping center, we discovered Alapage tucked in the corner. And to our surprise, they were open!! This is a really cute boutique with different clothing, accessories and fun gifts to browse through. I even found myself a cute travel bag!! The ladies working here were very friendly, too! Alapage is a great place to burn a hole in your pocket!

They asked my friend what she had in her pocket (it was her lipgloss), implying that we were shoplifting. They did not treat the other customers this way (we are not white). They said we were "enamored" with the bracelets and told us we should have them hold it for us. Can we not shop in peace? The only kind person was a teenager doing our forever bracelets. And, as we were leaving, Jen the manager asked if we paid, even though we were clearly at the register.
