Very cool vintage and antique furniture/knickknack shop (HUGE selection) with a section devoted to repainting old furniture, plus a baby boutique, and local jams/crackers/candles. Definitely more upscale than a lot of the places nearby and the prices reflect that, but overall reasonable. Accessibility/Service Major downside: not wheelchair accessible AT ALL. Front entrance has 4 large steps and various sections throughout the store have 1-3 steps, plus a large (semi steep) set of stairs to the basement area. This shop is fabulous, so much to look at. They have alot of home decor things to buy. I highly recommend this home decor and gift shop. The workers were very kind and helpful. I bought big items and they had someone bring my idems to my car, which I was very thankful for. read more

A wonderful consignment/antique shop that opened up ... few years back. I never stopped in until recently, and what a hidden gem! Milford/Amherst is filled with plenty of consignment and antique shops, and I found myself browsing and exploring for a couple or few hours! The altered colonial home has plenty to see! A room to the side is a woman's boutique shop with clothing organized by size, and tons of bags and shoes to look through. Summer clothing is all on sale right now! :) As you walk further into the place, you will be surprised with the size and variety of good finds in there! Old hats from the 50s/60s, furniture to embellish that dining room/living room, jewelry, kitchen mixing bowls, etc .... just about anything! There is a another floor ... downstairs that has an extension of more finds! A little room with kids clothing, books, stuffed animals, etc! A room of books to dive in, and records to sift through! There is so much to see and talk about in this place. Parking is conveniently available on location. The owner of the store, Robin and her friend that I can't remember the name off the top of my head right now (ahhhhh), are both darling. They are fun to chat with and very willing to work with you to get your best deal out of something you find and love! They are in the photos attached ... I will remember later and update the review! Now, every time I drive by, I do stop in and visit ... with Lucy (the terrier) welcoming people as they come in. .... Robin's Egg was way better before when it was in Milford. Not sure if it went under new management or something? Now it is basically a Pottery Barn. There are not really any antiques, it is more like "here are the supplies to do it yourself and make a new item look like an antique." It would be a good store however if you are looking for that sort of thing. read more

I have been in to the new location several times, and have found it disappointing. As o e of the other reviewers said, it's more of a glorified Pottery Barn, and has lost the charm of the previous location. The worst though, is the general feeling of unfriendliness as you walk in and are basically ignored the whole time. I had yet another experience like that today, as I was in the area and stopped by. The owner was preoccupied with whatever she was doing and never looked up or said a word. I was going to make a purchase, but reconsidered. I won't be back. read more

I really really really used to like this shop (back when they were in Milford) but lately I feel like it's gone downhill. I almost feel like I'm inconveniencing then by coming in during shop hours. Back at the old shop when I'd stop by you'd get acknowledged when you walk in, which I think is standard, now, you walk in and no one says anything to you unless you buy something. (This wasn't an off day, it was my last 4 visits, and it was both the owner and staff) It's almost like you're invincible unless you're spending money. In the past I can honestly say I've spent over $1,500 at the two shops, so I'm usually buying and not browsing. But I'm stopping that now. Selection is also lacking. It used to feel like you were finding something that was one of a kind or a treasure. Now I see a lot of the same items on amazon and in home goods for much less. Things are definitely presented well and they look cute and give inspirational ideas and if I was given so much as a "hi" when I walked into the shop I to might be inclined to spend the extra money on the items but seeing as how I get ignored til it's time to pay, I'm kinda all set. But thankfully there are a lot of other local shops in the area I can cross this one off my list. read more

Basically ignored as we entered while the staff were blabbing about how their lives were going, being watched suspiciously by some taller guy even though we were just looking. It was mostly furniture and a few eyebrow-raising items, but the place was honestly pretty empty and hardly well-stocked when we visited. My favorite store in Milford, bar none. While it is an "antique store", some of my favorite vendors specialize in upcycling old materials into beautiful new things. My kitchen table - painted green and orange with bright flowers, is a great example! I love stopping in here for random gifts and trinkets! Plus, it's huge!! read more

Love, Love, LOVE Robin's Egg! I have bought so many cute pieces here and I love them all. It's hard to classify this as "antiques" - while they do have those, they have an amazing selection of unique home decor pieces and upcycled furniture. This place is enormous! Once you're inside the rooms just keep going Really great group of vendors and each spot looks carefully curated. No junk! Love driving up here even if it's just to browse. Items change daily so if you want a piece don't hesitate or it will be gone! :) read more

Robins Egg New Hampshire This was a disappointing visit to this shop. I live 2 hours away and called them to make sure they carried the paint line Cece paints, quoting her, "sure we carry the whole line". LIE I drove 2 hours to this store. This place had only half the line and NO Antique dust, then further her ridiculousness she insulting me by telling me Cece paints didn't make Antique Dust, really???? Well I had to show her Cece did make it! She further insulted me by telling me she would check with her stock girl and they could order it for me, well guess what I drove 2 hours so I wouldn't have to order online. This an over price, ridiculous products, and lie when u call and drive 2 hours, they didn't seem to care. My best advice don't give this place a dime of your your money. They lie, they lie and I will write Cece paints to let them know these creeps are not representing their product and on top of it have no product knowledge. They wasted my time, my gas. I wish I could sue them for my time and money, Shame on you Robins Egg You are liars and only hope u go out of business! read more

They have quality items. I am a bit sad that they went from antique to almost completely upcycled items. Still beautiful pieces though!

my mom and i love robin's egg. it is the perfect amount of shabby chic meetst upscale modern farmhouse. the booths are all NH locals, and are very talented vintage finders and flea market flippers. Very disappointed in the new location. I've been shopping here for years and the new location also has a new attitude and it's not good! Spoke to the owner before she moved about renting space and she was very nice, but when I went to the new location she wasn't there and I was rudely told that there was no space available. I went again recently and the owner was there and never even acknowledged me. She looked at me several times and never said a word. The atmosphere used to be very inviting, but I will no longer shop here. I've spent a lot of money in the past and have many things in my home from there. Very sad. read more

I have been to this shop several times over the past few years. Each time I look forward to seeing what they have in store. They work with some great dealers and have very unique items. I am decorating my daughter's nursery and Robin's Egg was the first place I thought of for items to obtain that vintage look I am going for. Unfortunately, the shop owners are so rude that I will never, ever return. They advertised a weekend yard sale on their Facebook page. The Facebook posting said they open at 10 am for the yard sale and the shop would be open for browsing as well. Milford is a 50 minute drive from me so I left nice and early with my 3 year old in tow so that we could arrive promptly at 10. When we arrived at 10, they were still setting up for the yard sale. I kindly asked the shop owner if the store was open and she informed me that they do not open until 11. Time is of the essence with a 3 year old, so I described what I was looking for to the owner and asked if she had anything like it. No sense in killing an hour if they do not have it. The owner said she would open the shop in 15 minutes so I could check it out. Nice! We very patiently waited for 25 minutes with no acknowledgement. It was at this point that the shop owner and her friend made it a point to blatantly come within earshot of me and have a very loud, very phony conversation that went something like this: "Oh, the shop isn't open on Sunday??" "I do open on Sunday, but not until 11" "Oh!!! OK!!" I'm sorry, but what kind of shop owner treats their customers this way?? This is not something you would expect from a small business owner whose livlihood depends on happy customers and word of mouth. Her loss... I was fully prepared to spend quite a bit of money on pieces for the nursery, including furniture. I will bring my business elsewhere. read more

I like their stuff but the experience was strange. I was not acknowledged until I left and paid and the woman at the cashier said "thank you". The people that worked there were carrying on about weekend plans, items they were putting out etc. etc. etc and they were obnoxiously loud. I honestly felt invisible. They do have some nice things but I can't give my business to a place that does not seem to value a customer. read more

"I have over 50 dealers - how should I know" -. Made me feel totally uncomfortable and unwanted. Its a junk store anyway. read more

There is no need for buyer to BEWARE!! The vendors at Robin's Egg have used there creativity, resources and time to search the area for awesome decor for my home, that quite frankly I do not have the time or talent to do what they do. If you are lucky enough to have both of those things, then by all means go to the store yourself and hope that it turns out half as good. Vendors search the web for great ideas that quite frankly make my house into a home and I do not have the hassle if putting it together! Robin's Egg... Please don't change a thing!!! BUYER BEWARE this is NO an antiques store through & through!!! Robin's Egg has great displays and some of the vendors are truly talented. I have bought a couple pieces of furniture there and they are wonderful. BUT... buyer beware!!! I have bought several other items from the store only to find out that they were items purchased at HOBBY LOBBY and being resold for more $$$. The "made in China" stickers had been removed & I ended paying almost twice what I could if I used the everyday "40% off coupon" you can print off the website. I was SO UPSET and called the store...and spoke to Robin herself who defensively (and a bit rudely) told me that I could not return my items "because I was just going to go buy them for less at HOBBY LOBBY". Seriously?!!! She also educated me that she "encourages her vendors to purchase items from stores like HOBBY LOBBY & MICHAEL'S to stock their storefronts" REALLY?!! I feel like I was made a fool. I have told so many of my friends about this store & how great it was..and how unique the items are. I am so disappointed to have learned this. In the future, I will go to enjoy the displays (they are lovely and well done), get my ideas and then buy the things I love for nearly half the cost at the original store. I do realize that there are multiple vendors and not all vendors operate this way....maybe it's my fault for not realizing they were reselling items from other stores? Fool me once..... read more
